Klassik Altstadt Hotel Lübeck

Friendly staff who helped to organize an ironing station, just a 10 min walk to the old town, modern bathroom although quite tiny, comfortable bed but “German” big pillow was too soft for my taste.

simple hotel, perfect location for a short city trip though, rooms are small but very clean, bathrooms modern. Can really recommend if you plan a little city trio

The hotel is clean, really classical. However they mention the breakfast is till 10am but they refuse you show up at 09:45. Not super flexible and friendly

We stayed here for one night and the room was amazing, the location is central to everything and enjoyed the cleanliness and organization of everything. Front desk was kind and allowed us to leave our luggage while we explore before leaving town and after checkout. I would highly recommend this place and will be coming back here if I am in town again!

Stayed for a couple of nights. Beautiful old building, spacious room - ours had a big bathroom and nice bath - friendly reception staff. Easy to walk to from the station, and great for walking around the old town.

Prime location for visiting the town, parking nearby. Our room was excellent, spacious and well equipped. We enjoyed the breakfast. Friendly and helpful reception. Quiet area, we could sleep with windows open. The hotel stood out as newly renovated, but in fact they do some renovation during a week in February every year. A good strategy.

We stayed just one night here but opted for the suite as I was staying with my daughter so the extra bedroom was great. The hotel is easy to find and a few minutes walk from the main landmarks of the city. The train station is about 15 minutes walk and there is on street parking nearby if you drive.||Check in was fabulous, helpful and friendly and all the staff we encountered were pleasant and engaging. ||The suite was superb - a large bathroom with bath and separate shower, flannels (an often overlooked accessory) and robes. The second bedroom was up the spiral staircase and in the attic, with lovely views over the city. The main room had the other bed, wardrobe space, table and seating area and was larger than some apartments I've had. Wifi was good and the room was very quiet.||Breakfast was pleasant but the selection was limited, particularly for my vegan daughter but we really should have asked first.

Downsides: - the bed was really hard. My body was broken after one night in the bed. - the room was extremely warm and no AC. There was a little fan but it didn’t make much difference. Upside: - the pillows and covers where really fluffy and nice! - the location was amazing. Close to everything. - the rooms were pretty and they even had cotton pads and some stuff for ladies in the bathroom. - staff was very kind - breakfast was good! Unfortunately I wouldn’t go back due to the beds being hard as rocks, but if there were ever to place softer beds I’d be back in a sec!
