"Once a drab business hotel, this reborn property near the Esplanade now has a snappy name, friendly staff, and a chic late-night bar. The 137 rooms are classified by size—Mystical, Passion, Desire, and Envy, with Mystical being the smallest and Envy the largest. All have retro floor lamps, a muted color palette enlivened by bold wallpaper, and minibars stocked with Finnish beer and vodka. The decor in public spaces was inspired by Finnish folklore, thankfully with no trace of whimsy. New York–based chef Marcus Samuelsson consulted on the menu in the main restaurant, Ilmatar; the tin-ceilinged Italian eatery, Toscanini, serves excellent rabbit pappardelle. If you fancy a $20 reindeer burger, try the casual Filmitähti. The hotel connects directly to the Helsinki Day Spa next door."

A nice and very well located hotel in Helsinki. Recommended by Michelin s guide . Choose at least a superior room to have enough space. Courtesy slippers and useful products at the reception. Lbgt Friendly. Breakfast buffet is very large, tasty and very generous (except espresso is an extra cost). 2 extra professionnals members of the hôtel s team, customer minded, and talented : Johanna at the reception, and Ivana (room maid ) very helpful. A good Hotel in an excellent area. A welcome courtesy bottle of water in the room could be an idea.

Had a long layover and didn't want to stay at the airport for 22 hours. I found this place online. Great decision! The check-in staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful. The room was nice. The hotel was convenient to many things. I only had dessert in the restaurant, but it was great. There was a breakfast buffet in the morning. I want to commend the management for being socially aware. They have signs posted that they welcome diversity. The breakfast items were organic, and there were options for the different intolerances. There were many indicators of environmental conservation. Kudos to you!

The breakfast buffet is spectacular with a big choice of vegetarian and vegan, too. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. Only "but": The rooms of part A are towards the street - the streetcars' noise can be hard. Part B is on the back side, but we don't know, how it is there...

Great hotel walking distance from the Central Station. The staff is very nice, rooms are clean and just what I needed. Clean, on the minimalistic side but perfect for all needs. ||Breakfast included traditional and local Karelian pies and eggbutter. Strange but so fun to try! ||This is definitely my choice next time I am in Helsinki!

We stayed there two non-consecutive nights, and it was wonderful. The lady at the front desk was so accommodating and the restaurant manager so friendly and the chef made the most exquisite, silky, smooth tasty cuisine I’ve had in a long time. The rooms are extremely clean and well appointed. And amazing breakfast comes with your hotel reservation. Thank you thank you to all the staff, including our servers.❤️❤️❤️

Great Location - spent a few nights at the Klaus K Hotel. The location is great, close to the city centre, train station and other attractions. The rooms are really nice with comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend staying at this hotel, would stay again if I went back to Helsinki.

We fell in love with Klaus K hotel! The personnel was so kind and welcoming. We arrived 3 hours earlier than the check in time, and we were checked in to the available room with out extra charge. The bathroom was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We slept well! It was warm also. The highlight of the hotel is the continental breakfast which is included in the hotel fee. We were blown away by the variety of food! You can eat an omelet, boiled eggs, hot serial, cold serial, different berry smoothies, home made berry jams, amazing wild salmon, different cheeses and absolutely tasty bread of different kinds. You are in a walking distance to the main promenade, shopping streets, restaurants and main train station with easy access to the airport. We will be defiantly back!

The hotel still remains our home when in Helsinki. It has been slightly redesigned since our last visit. In our opinion for the better.||Hotel is central with the train station , ferry terminals and shops all within reasonable walking distance.||Taxis are ready available if needs be.||Staff very friendly and attentive . Breakfast is as ever varied and of very good quality. Especially the porridge and cinnamon sugar. 😋.||Big thanks to Marjo for her usual professional can do attitude. You are a star.||One new addition to the streets of Helsinki are maniacs on delivery bikes .||As in every other city they have no respect for traffic lights, one way systems or pedestrian only areas.||Be warned!
