Highlight of my trip to Bon Aire! Absolutely stunning nature reserve. Must visit island with bare bones amenities! One of the bluest waters I have seen! 20 mins from main island. Take the water taxis. $25 round trip. Pick up and drop off is every couple hours. 10 am is long snorkel drift option. Last pick up is around 4. Wonderful place to relax, snorkel and soak up the Sun and Water! Very few places for shade. But we found a shaded spot that helped with the blazing sun. (Fortunately no cruise ships were in port and it was not crowded.) Bring your own snacks, lunch, picnic, local rum and goodies. Hat, sunscreen, cooler with ice, umbrella and coverings are essential. Can rent many things from local shops if in need. Wish I could live here, possible to camp with permit. Beautiful colored lizards inhabit here,(don’t feed) and tons of tropical fish call this coral reef their homes. It can rain any moment and pass. Respect this place, and it will reward. Very grateful to have visited this slice of paradise.

Klein Bonaire is hands down the best snorkeling spot on the island! The water is absolutely stunning, and we saw an incredible variety of fish. We took the Epic Water Taxi, which was on time, and our guide gave us great tips on where to swim for the best views. Keep in mind, there are no facilities, so come prepared—we packed a small cooler with water, beer, and sandwiches and had an amazing time. A must-visit for any snorkeling enthusiast!

If you're looking for a quick escape, a few hours on Klein Bonaire is a must. Accessible via various water taxi services, this small island offers a peaceful, natural retreat. However, be prepared—aside from two shaded shelters, there's no amenities, so it's best to pack your own snacks, drinks, and snorkel gear. We enjoyed a lovely drift snorkel, which was a highlight, with clear waters and vibrant marine life. On the beach, we spotted colorful lizards and hermit crabs. The island is also known for turtles nesting, although I did not see any. Overall, Klein Bonaire is a charming and low-key destination for a short visit.

Wonderful snorkeling, very busy when the cruise ships are in port, but there was still room for everyone. Maybe the easiest snorkeling launch I have ever been privileged to utilize.

Best beaches in Bonaire, if you're experienced in snorkeling you'll want to swim far to get to better reef, or asked to be dropped off and do a drift snorkel. Saw a beautiful hawksbill turtle!

For me this was the best beach i have visited. Get a water taxi and buy your own snorkelling equipments. You really don’t need an excursion for this beach. I had a lot of fun snorkelling. Got to See different types of fish some stingrays and see horse. Make sure your bring your own water and snacks

We took the Caribe water taxi to Klein Bonaire with Captain Frank. Before docking at the beach, Frank gave us a brief introduction to the island and showed us where to enter the protected reef area. He offered three snorkeling options: 1. Walk from the beach to the reef entry and swim back. 2. Swim to the reef entry area and walk back. 3. Leave our belongings on the beach and be dropped off a bit further out, then swim back toward the beach. We chose option 3, which took us about an hour to return to the beach, including a brief rest by the yellow sign. The snorkeling experience was fantastic; we observed the reefs in the shallow waters and the deep blue sea beyond. Although we didn't see any turtles here (you are guaranteed to see them by the Salt Pier), we still recommend visiting if you're into snorkeling. Lastly, bring an umbrella, as there aren't many shaded spots. Don't forget water and snacks, and plan to stay for 2-3 hours.

Beautiful place to snorkel. The water was amazing but a bit chilly. We were on an 11 night cruise with Vision of the Seas that traveled to S. America and the ABC Islands. We had to be tendered to the excursion boat, so accessibility may be an issue for some. The excursion company provided all the necessary equipment and had two guides with us at all times. One guide was on a board, and the other guide was snorkeling with us. Very nice excursion and very friendly people! Highly recommend this place for snorkeling!
