Kleine Haie Große Fische

Very pleasant and attentive staff who create a welcoming atmosphere from the very beginning. The herring was extremely fresh and of excellent quality — a great choice for those who enjoy this kind of dish. I especially recommend the matjes herring in a black bun — a very tasty and well-balanced combination.

5/5 for the experience! I have never had a fishbröchten before and didn’t know what to expect. We tried two different versions, the backfisch and Matjes. Both were delicious. The fish was fresh (and served cold!) and really enhances by the onion and the spread on the bread. We also got the kartoffelsalat which was tasty. was very cute. We enjoyed eating here!

I had two super delicious sandwiches here. The fish and crabs are freshly made by the friendly and welcoming staff. Great atmosphere and definitely worth a visit! 😇

This place is a 10. The sandwiches are the most delicious thing ever (I tried Alaska Seelachs and Bratherring) . I could eat this every day. Owners and nice and quite speedy in cooking and preparing. Keep in mind, though, that the place is small and doesn't have much space inside so it's very common for people to buy and eat on the street.

I was told by a good friend that when in Hamburg to have a Fish Brötchen so I Google and this late was 4.9 stars and they were spot on definitely a must go to Bob the American

Had to wait 40 minutes for 2 sandwiches when there wasn't even a line of people. Normally Fischbrötchen takes 5 minutes. This is not 35 minutes better.
