Packed ourselves onto the S1 to Reeperbahn for the famous ‘Fischbrötchen’ from Kleine Haie Große Fische. Made fresh to order, the Backfische(fried fish, 7.50€), Bismarck (vinegar cured herring, 5.50€) and Krabben (kind of a prawn cocktail, 8.50€) were standouts. The bread was still crunchy after a 20-min walk back to our hotel. Rightfully famous and highly recommended!
