5/5 for the experience! I have never had a fishbröchten before and didn’t know what to expect. We tried two different versions, the backfisch and Matjes. Both were delicious. The fish was fresh (and served cold!) and really enhances by the onion and the spread on the bread. We also got the kartoffelsalat which was tasty. was very cute. We enjoyed eating here!

I had two super delicious sandwiches here. The fish and crabs are freshly made by the friendly and welcoming staff. Great atmosphere and definitely worth a visit! 😇

I was told by a good friend that when in Hamburg to have a Fish Brötchen so I Google and this late was 4.9 stars and they were spot on definitely a must go to Bob the American

This place is a 10. The sandwiches are the most delicious thing ever (I tried Alaska Seelachs and Bratherring) . I could eat this every day. Owners and nice and quite speedy in cooking and preparing. Keep in mind, though, that the place is small and doesn't have much space inside so it's very common for people to buy and eat on the street.

It was an awesome experience, the fish sandwich had balanced flavours, tasty, fresh fish and bread. I couldn't be happier with my meal. The pickle was surprisingly big, also tasty and crunchy. The waitress also handling the fishpreparation was really nice to me and other customers. She even intended to speak a little bit of my origin language on top of our english conversation (I didn't spoke german), which was lovely. Worth the money : 5/5 Service : 5/5 Food : 5/5 Would I come back ? : for sure !! :)

Packed ourselves onto the S1 to Reeperbahn for the famous ‘Fischbrötchen’ from Kleine Haie Große Fische. Made fresh to order, the Backfische(fried fish, 7.50€), Bismarck (vinegar cured herring, 5.50€) and Krabben (kind of a prawn cocktail, 8.50€) were standouts. The bread was still crunchy after a 20-min walk back to our hotel. Rightfully famous and highly recommended!

Had to wait 40 minutes for 2 sandwiches when there wasn't even a line of people. Normally Fischbrötchen takes 5 minutes. This is not 35 minutes better.
