We enjoyed our day at Klimataria Beach & Klimataria Tavern. Although we arrived a bit late, at 11:00, we could find free sunbeds, although not on front row. The pair of sunbeds is 10 eur, payable at the tavern. The food was very tasty, despite some negative comments that made me skeptical in firstplace, but I suspect some people do not know what to eat when they come to Greece. We had pork gyros, musaka and mussels saganaki and for desert waffles with nutela and ice cream. All three main courses were delicious in their own way. On the house we received a super tasty brownie with nuts and icecream. The prices are normal, medium. The teenagers and lady that served us are very nice and polite. We had great time.

An authentic greek taverna on the beach. It is managed by a greek family and all the kids are working here. The food and the service are very good and the prices correct. The sunbeds are 7 euro per set (very good price) and only 4 rows. The beach here is outstanding (I made another review there). There are showers and parking - big like. Also the road until you get here is spectacular - on the coast.

Important: Do not confuse this taverna with Klimataria Beach itself – the beach is beautiful, family-friendly, and worth visiting. Unfortunately, the taverna experience was the opposite. Prices are extremely high (an espresso is €5), and you are practically forced to order drinks if you want to use their sunbeds (water is not even considered a drink, likely because it’s too cheap). We tried natural juices instead of sodas: both the orange juice and lemonade were awful. The toilets were dirty, and the lady managing the place treated guests terribly if they didn’t order food. Because of the poor food quality and lack of hygiene, we didn’t risk eating there and chose the next-door taverna instead – which turned out to be excellent: delicious food, spotless clean, and very kind staff. The second day, the lady threatened us that if we didn’t eat at her place, we would have ‘serious problems.’ On the third day, she put ‘reserved’ signs on all sunbeds to block us from staying, only allowing people who ordered from her. It’s a pity such a beautiful beach is spoiled by such unpleasant and unprofessional management. Sadly, there aren’t many alternatives for sunbeds here, so you are forced to deal with this behavior.

The place looks ok, but: They charge bread and water 1 euro per person mandatory! That’s a first. So we payed 10 euros for two bottles of water and 10 euros for one sliced pretty old bread. And we were 9 ( 7 adult and 2 kids - one kid did not eat). Why 20? Random… Fish soup was one of the worst soups I had in my life. Is basically a potato soup with some fish inside - literally ten spoons of soup. 10 euros for that. 1 euro/spoon. Bill written by hand in Greek, old school scam. Some kids were serving, can’t argue with kids, so we said nothing. Moussaka, Greek salad and gyros- ok. That’s why they don’t get one star. Many review this tavern as the beach - very nice beach indeed - but crazy busy in high season. Take care where you park, very busy!

I have been to 20+ places (beach, taverna etc) in the Sithonia region, trust me this was the worst!! Worst tzatziki, worst fried patatoes (frozen and soaked with bad oil). They didn’t tell about 10euro charge for the sunbeds, they accepted to cancel this after such a disappointment. Never ever again :/

Great beach, not so far away from main road, with enough sideroad signs to follow. Perfect for familyes with small kids because of water depth. Very nice and not so expensive beach bar with sunbeds with your order. With one word, true paradise.
