I visited this restaurant on Valentine’s Day and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience from start to finish. (After my wife insisted we try this restaurant canceling other fine dining restaurants for this horrendous experience)
We were initially seated in a cramped corner at what was honestly a dirty table, with no proper shelter or heating, which was especially uncomfortable given the occasion. When I politely asked to be reseated, the hostess responded unprofessionally, smirking and laughing while suggesting that the issue was simply my “preference.” This response felt dismissive and disrespectful.
Our waiter approached us already acknowledging that the evening felt “spoiled,” which reflected how poor the initial experience had been. After waiting nearly an half an hour, we were eventually moved to another table, but by then the damage to the evening had already been done.
The starters took an excessive amount of time to arrive and were poorly prepared (Gave me food poisoning the very next day). Throughout the evening, I noticed the manager visiting multiple tables but never once checking in on ours, despite the clear issues we experienced. (Clearly avoiding our table)
To be fair, the the steak main was good, lamb main average and dessert were good, which shows that the kitchen has potential. However, service and customer experience are just as important, and unfortunately this fell far below expectations.
I left feeling uncomfortable and honestly disappointed. The experience gave me the impression that we were treated differently. (Color) (Absolute shocking I had to even include mandatory service charge to the evening)
