Nestled at the foothills of the Zwartkops Mountains, Kloofzicht Lodge & Spa is a serene escape that exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the breathtaking views of the fly fishing dams and the tranquil nature reserve teeming with wildlife. The staff were warm, attentive, and made every moment feel special. My suite was spacious, elegantly furnished, and offered a private balcony with panoramic vistas. The spa treatments were world-class—deeply relaxing and rejuvenating. Whether dining at the bistro or simply unwinding by the infinity pool, every detail was thoughtfully curated. A truly perfect retreat.

Beautiful Lodge. Have stayed here a few times and it never disappoints. Food always great, rooms always perfect. Location is great and feels like you are out of the city for an escape. Have done the spa in previous visits, just as great. Cannot say anything negative about this lodge. Great value for money.

We had our wedding at Kloofzicht, and it was truly everything we hoped for. The views were absolutely breathtaking, the venue itself was beautiful, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food - it was a definite highlight of the evening. Working with Nikita, our wedding coordinator, was an absolute pleasure. She was incredibly responsive, friendly, and impeccably organized. Throughout the entire process, she kept us calm and on track, handling every detail with such care and professionalism. A special mention also goes to Esther, one of the waitresses on the night. She treated me like royalty—constantly checking in to make sure I was fed, hydrated, and warm. Her kindness and attentiveness did not go unnoticed and meant so much to me on such an special day. I genuinely appreciate the extra effort the entire Kloofzicht team put into making our day so memorable. Their service and care helped create a truly magical experience.

A beautiful location, not far from JHB with extremely attentive staff. We celebrated our 10-year wedding anniversary with a night away and hot air balloon flight. The rooms were beautiful, modern, neat and very comfortable. The food was delicious! Chef Joseph’s venison pie was delicious! The buffet breakfast was delicious too! The place is beautiful and is a great space to relax and enjoy. We also made use of the spa and were very happy with the facilities and the massage. Thank you Kloofzicht ❤️ keep up the great work!

Kloofzicht is a stunning escape from corporate Gauteng. The venue is pristine and tranquil. Rooms are huge and luxurious. Food is average. Staff service is average. Perfect venue if you are looking for an escape from humanity and isolation.

We had a lovely stay at Kloofzicht. This included spa treatments. The team at the spa is very professional and well trained. The food at the lodge is delicious and the staff friendly and helpful. James Phiri needs special mentioning. The setting of the lodge is beautiful.

Had a fabulous weekend. Stunning views, very serene and calm. Rooms were clean , bed was very comfortable and stunning bedding. Breakfast was scrumptious.

We had lunch at the Bistro. The food was very good and the prices reasonable for the area. The grounds are beautiful and we had a nice view of the dam from our table. The service was prompt and friendly and we enjoyed the afternoon. It's an nice outing only a few minutes out of the city.
