Worst Tasting Experience - Kitchen:
We selected the Estate Range tasting for 5 pax plus a Harvest platter.
55 minutes later and aa we receive the last and 5th tasting, the platter was presented.
We declined it, as our tasting was over. The returned platter was just served to another table, saved from a similar wait, and the table behind us were fortunate to recieve the other table's platter after 20/30 minutes of waiting. No real apology or concern.
The table next to us also received the 1 platter at their last/ 2nd last wine.
When getting up to pay, and raising our unsatisfactory experience, a 21-year old girl sorting glass lables and refusing to share her name, was intervening in our discussion with our waiter, stating we need to be more understanding, as they were 'very busy'.
I indicated there were only 8 tables of which only 2 were new customers, so not sure how that could be seen as 'busy', and the tasting room and kitchen are separate. (If any prep was done, it could not take more than 10 minutes at most to put a platter together.)
This girl became very disrespectful, by keep stating sarcastically she is 'very sorry'. Firstly, she was not engaged in the conversation. Then she addresses the customer as 'tannie', very unprofessional. She did not recognise a problem, and made it clear that waiting 50 plus minutes for a platter is acceptable.
We left upset, did not purchase any of the wine and will not return.
