17 Best Bars in Berlin

"Bartenders at Klunkerkranich, an improvised rooftop bar that looks like it was hastily assembled by a rogue artist collective, sling mostly beer and wine at frightfully good prices. If it's a chilly day, the Tempranillo will take the edge right off. Come here with a group of friends to take in the sunset—the views over Berlin, facing toward the tower, are nothing short of spectacular." - Krystin Arneson

Food not that good, great atmosphere entry staff friendly and efficient. Oasis at the top of a parking lot. Great bands and vibes plus view of the city. A surprisingly organic rustic relaxing or groovy place to be in the middle of a concrete jungle.

Google
This is an amazing roof-top bar and nightclub overlooking all of Berlin. The music is varied... at least 3 DJs are going at the same time. The bars are fast and very professional. The sunset is a daily highlight.

Google
Nice rooftop beer garden and bar, with a nice view of Berlin. perfect for those summer days or sunsets. the bar also hosts live gigs sometimes and there is DJ playing music on weekends. really nice spot to kick off your evening and soak up the views.

Coco M

Google
Nice rooftop terrace bar. Paid 8 Euros entry fee and the drinks were not cheap either for the quality/quantity you got. 9Euros for a Campari Spritz. The view is great, with lots of seating and dancing space and lots of "klunker" to discover. Dj's were ok. Worth a visit.

Google
You must take the elevator to P5, and then walk up to P6. Great afternoon activity with the best views. Be careful of the honey bees!

Super cool spot with great music and vibes! It’s cool to see some kids around too. The views are amazing and $7 entrance fee!

Google
Awesome place. A lot of space to chill, dance, etc. You can experience beautiful sunset there.

Klunkerkranich is peak Berlin, no filters, no fluff. Screw the polished rooftops and influencer traps, this one’s the real deal. Slapped on top of a scruffy parking garage, with scrappy urban gardens, Berlin views for days, and a crowd that’s refreshingly uncurated. This rooftop bar/garden delivers raw charm, sweeping views of Neukölln, and zero trace of Mitte’s polished, gentrified hipster scene. Instead, you get a wild, eclectic mix of real Berliners, creatives, locals, and the occasional curious traveler. Cold drinks, solid beats, zero pretension. Come for the sunset, stay because you forgot time exists. PS don’t come hungry, there‘s only snacks/nacho chips.

Yelp
One of the best bars I've been to in Berlin for a fun, cool vibe with a lot of space and great views of the city. I visited on a Wednesday off season , so the weather was a bit cold, and therefore there was no line or need to wait. There is a cover to enter, and it is hard to find, but once you are there it is totally worth it. The decorations , furniture, and ambiance are great and I really appreciated the cell phone ordering system using the pager. It makes everything SO MUCH EASIER. no need to fight your way to the bar to get the attention of a server and wait for him to make the drinks, you just order, pay and wait for your buzzer to let you know when to get the drinks from the counter. Later in the night when the weather got colder we moved inside and were treated to a very fun DJ with great music and an inviting and lit dance floor. Definitely a must for a night out!

Yelp
Definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Berlin! This gorgeous beer garden was much needed as my group decided to have a relaxing slower day compared to the rest of our Europe trip. We came in the early afternoon of a weekday, so it wasn't too crowded and it was before the cover charge started. The view of the city isn't crazy or anything, but it's still charming. Finding the place was a tad tricky. All I knew is that it was at the top of the parking garage. So we found an elevator and went as high as it could (4th floor I think). Then we walked up to the top from there. Plenty of seating! Yes, there are bathrooms. And you order drinks inside and order coffee at the side window. There's also another area towards the back that you can order drinks at too, if inside is too busy! Overall beautiful spot, that tourists like myself are definitely beginning to frequent with a mix of locals.

Yelp
I think my friend and I must have gone on an off day. It was pretty empty and the people working at the bar were crazy rude and uninterested in helping. I'm guessing it was because we are American and speak zero German. The place is a cool hippie oasis on the top level of a mall parking structure. It's really a great idea and I could see this being an amazing spot to hang out at if I was a local. However I can't say I recommend this place to tourists. Also, it is cash only and there is virtually no food. So don't come hungry. So many better places to check out in Berlin. I'd steer clear of the Klunkerkranich.

Yelp
I love this spot. I loved it before it was a spot, when it was the best-kept secret in the world of free and sparsely populated lookout spots. Now it tends to be pretty crowded when I head here, but I only go a couple times a year, and usually when showing it to visiting friends, so the novelty still hasn't worn off. The best time is always on a weekday, right when they open, because you'll avoid the tourist party crowd and have your pick of where to sit. Plus, if you have kids, there's a sandbox and it's a chill hang-out spot. The view is killer, the drink selection is good, the atmosphere is mostly OK depending upon when you show up, and the photobooth is the best way to end a tipsy evening. They could do with more vegan options; as it stands I wouldn't recommend this as a place to get food so much as a place to have drinks and relax.

Yelp
Rooftop bar located on top of a parking lot of a mall. Take the elevator all the way to the top and walk the rest of the way up the ramp. 5€ entrance fee. There are separate lines for food, beer, and cocktails. The cocktail line only had one bartender so it took awhile to get my drink. The voucher system they have in place for the physical glasses of the drinks is flawed. They charge 1€ for beer and other drinks and 2€ for cocktails. You take care of this deposit at the time of payment and they give you a voucher. You're supposed to bring back the voucher with glasses at the end for your refund. However I saw someone just returning the voucher with no glass and got a refund. I also saw others taking glasses from an empty table most likely to get their money back. This seems like a way for this establishment to make a few euros off of people who forget to return their glasses. Even after following these rules, my boyfriend did not receive his voucher after paying the € deposit. It was not worth it to try and reason with the blonde employee at the back bar so we left it at that. The view is nice. Just don't let them rip you off! Last thing: lots of smokers so there's no fresh air.

Yelp
A hidden gem thats located on top of a mall and parking lot which probably gives you the most breath taking view of Berlin. The vibe here is very hipster and is a good spot to hangout with your friends or coworkers or just yourself if you want to relax. They are multiple drink stations, bar munchies, and music spots, in case you into lines ordering things. Would highly recommend to everyone visiting Berlin!

Yelp
Great roof top bar in Berlin Located in a different area of Berlin Not close to the city Hard to find because it's not a traditional roof top bar it's in a shopping mall and you have to go through the parking lot to find it. We just followed the crowd because of course everything is in German. Once you find it you will definitely want to stay, meet some people, have some drinks and enjoy the view. There's a cover charge after a certain time of the day... I believe it's 3€ per person. This place has indoor and outdoor seating The decor is whacky and original my kind of place for sure it's hipster and divey. There's a live band inside and funky decor Bar snacks are available for purchase but limited to fries, small sandwiches and pretzels. Wide selection of beers and you have to put a deposit for the glass which you will get back once you return the beer glass. Smoking is permitted.. I mean it's Europe that's a given. A must see in Berlin!!! Will come back soon!

Yelp
The entire experience is very Berliner. Of course it's what 36 hours in Berlin by New York Times destination as well. It's at the top of a parking garage. Sunday afternoon after 4 is the best in the summer to go as it's still very much bright out and it's not too crowded. Kids get in for free and adults is 3 Euro per. I think the view is spectacular, the roof top biergarten and food is a very hip thing, certainly in New York it is, very rare occurrence in San Francisco (you forgot how quaint and homey small town the city of San Francisco is) until you leave for abroad. This is the quintessential Berlin summer experience. Bier is exceptionally cheap in Germany and remarkably good, get them on draft if you can. I sat inside vs. out, the outside spots were all taken. The inside had tables and D.J. spinning western Africa music, so it felt chill. There are also big tall chairs at the top of the stairs inside of the club room, I suppose it gets crowded in the evenings as this place open from noon to 1 am. There are also your typical wurst and sauerkraut bar food, which were simple and good. Walk about and take photos around the city, it's a 360 degree view and it's boarding if not already in the former east Berlin zone, judging by the street name of Karl Marx. Yelp is fairly big here, you get good recommendations for places to go, but Kunkerkranich is both touristy and localvore. Now go and repeat this experience elsewhere and write about it on New York Times so that I can go and visit here next time. There is a good chance I'd return to Berlin, as I've started browsing for real estate condo prices. Retirement in France and Germany seem like a good idea just about now.

Yelp
Super cool vibe, reasonably priced drinks and amazing views. This place is a bit out of the main tourist area and a bit hard to find (walk through a shopping centre and car park) but well worth the trip. Out of everywhere I visited in Berlin this place had the best view. We got there at 7.30 and there was a 5 euro cover charge it was also extremely busy, but that's to be expected. My only complaint is I think they either needed more food stalls or more people cooking the food, because it was about a 40 minute wait in line. Overall, I'd definitely go back here

Yelp
My favorite bar in Berlin! It's on the top of a parking garage so you may have some difficulty finding the place but once there, it's like a little slice of heaven. It's a whole new world. It's a hodgepodge of locals and tourists so it has a nice, trendy vibe to it all. And best of all-it's a rooftop bar! My local friends recommended this place for the view, but I actually thought the view was whatever. It's still perfect for the long summer evenings and to watch the sun set. For admission, it's 5 euro (when there is a live musician) unless you decide to stay off in the side (before actual entry) and stick to the lone bar-in which case it's free. I saw an older couple decide to do that because they just wanted to drink and get views, which you can do from either side. My friend and I of course went "inside" because we wanted to experience it all. The drinks are pretty cheap but do get ready to pay a deposit for your glasses that you can get back when you return the glasses.

Yelp
This was one of the highlights of my visit to Berlin. The top level of a parking lot converted into a rooftop bar -- wut? Such an original idea, beautiful Berlin views and awesome drinks. 4€ admission fee, stamp on your hand, and a €2 fee on drinks to ensure that you return the glass. There were tons of people but it's such a large space that you'll find a bench for your group of friends to sit at anyway. Loved the vibe and the live music playing from the inner part of the bar. See it for yourself.

Yelp
One of the best spots we visited in Berlin! Rooftop bar with planters and live music. Pro-tip: the bar is the highest level of the parking garage for the mall. Take the elevator or escalator to p5 and then walk up the car ramp to the sixth level. The bar covers the entire top level of the parking garage and has various booths for serving drinks. We came here on a chillier night during the week but can only imagine that on sunny days during the weekend all booths are open. There was live music booked for the night so we paid 5€ instead of the usual 3€ cover charge. I like to support musicians and the musicians they booked for the venue were well worth the additional 2€. You can't miss this spot when in Berlin. Really a must-see and must-experience.

Yelp
The newest - and possibly greatest - rooftop bar in Berlin. Klunkerkranich is a community garden, bar, grill and live music venue built atop a parking garage. In a word, it's glorious. The views are unparalleled. You have a nearly unobstructed view in all directions. There is a ridiculous amount of space and seating available, but they are constrained in the number of people allowed in at any given time. If you don't want to wait in line, I'd arrive before 7pm. They start charging 3 EUR for entry at 6pm anyways, so fortune favors the early arrivals. Although simply finding the place is a challenge onto itself, I'll save future visitors the hassle and confusion- go into the mall and take the lift up to the 5th floor. Exit and walk out towards the back left of the garage. Eventually you'll see the ramp for the roof which acts as the main entrance and bag check. Would if I could hang out here every sunny summer afternoon!

Yelp
Very nice place to have a wine or some beer with friends. If the weather is kind I recommend you to go during daytime there and enjoy the view and the wood furniture outside. On cold days I prefere going inside and have my wine with some club music. The drinks are good and fair priced. BUT if you want to go inside you have to pay an entrance fee of 3€. The atmosphere is very... Berlin. Dunno how to describe it otherwise. You have mixed furtniture there. Everything looks selfcrafted and rough. It's definitely not a chic cocktailbar but that's ok because I hate them. When I was there a live DJ played some mixtape and it reminded me more of a club. I can't give this place 5 stars because of 1.) The music was nice but a tiny bit too loud. I had tp yell at my friend who was sitting next to me so she could hear me 2.) Only one white wine. It was an ok one, the price was fair and yeah actually I am not allowed to complain but... yeah... you know it won't hurt to have at least a choice between two you know. 3.) It's a tiny adventure to get there to be honest. :D I had loads of fun to wander around that parking house with my friends but a few might be pissed by that. I will definitly come back to this bar.

Yelp
Gems like this remind me again and again how and why I am so infatuated with this city. There is no contest--Klunkerkranich is easily my favorite rooftop bar that I've been to. There's a certain inexplicable charm about it. Maybe this is due to the fact that the bar is located atop a parking deck (head to the 5th floor, then follow the ramp up), and entirely composed of furniture and finishings that look as if they could have been put together by your less-than-handy father in your backyard. The place is unpretentious and absolutely radiating with originality and creativity. There's a certain undone-ness about it that really works to create the most casual, hip, and fun environment. It's the perfect place to catch a summer sunset, and yesterday, I did just that. The view, compared to other spots I've visited in the city, is unrivaled--especially on a clear day. Word to the wise, however, if you're looking to come on a mild day, do come early. There is a 3 Euro cover, so if you're hoping to secure a seat with an overlook worthy of your change, definitely plan ahead. The drinks, as most Yelpers have already noted I'm sure, are a bit steep for Neukölln, but it's nothing too ridiculous. That is, however, coming from an LA native, so be sure to take that note with a large grain of salt. I happened to pop on by when there was a live jazz band, and to be honest, I don't really know why I settle for watching the sunset any other way, at any other place, or on any other rooftop. Klunkerkranich is truly an unpretentious and beyond special little diamond in the rough, and it's dying to be found...so go. Find it. And enjoy!

Yelp
Very cool space! I heard about this rooftop beer garden through NYT travel right before my most recent trip to Berlin. I told my brother about it but he dismissed it as too hipster and wasn't interested. So on the one day that I was out on my own I decided to stop there for a beer before heading back home. I definitely liked the space and the super laid back vibe. The view is just ok but drinking on a rooftop on a nice day with friends is always a pleasure. The one annoying aspect would be the cover charge (entrance fee) since there are so many great drinking spots in Berlin that don't require a fee just to enter.
google avatar

Yelp
This is the second bar on a rooftop of a mall parking garage. Both are great. However, this is the best one. Fantastic idea. It should happen in California. We have so many malls without cool rooftop bars. Rooftop bars should spread to malls everywhere. This one kid a live jazzband. Fantastic view of the city from here auch.

Yelp
What a cool spot. Thanks to The NY Times 36 hours in Berlin, I found this spot. So happy I did. The views are fantastic and the atmosphere is so lovely. I loved how the space catered to so many different groups of people. My friends and I got couple drinks and I wished I would've tried some of the chips but the line was just way too long. If I ever come back I'd try their brunch. Very impressed, y'all are doing a stellar job.
google avatar

Yelp
Come here for the best views of berlin!! Cash only for drinks with a 3 euro cover person. There seating both inside and outside. The inside decor is very odd with disco balls and unique chandeliers, but the live DJ is cool. No tap for drinks but the bottles are about 3-3.50 euros each. The seating outside gives you fantastic views and I highly recommend this very modern beer garden. It's located inside the mall on the 5th floor parking. You take an elevator up to the 5th floor, and then walk further up on a parking ramp to the beer garden.
google avatar

Donnell W.

Yelp
Great place to hangout with friends. Enjoy a nice bar and the Berlin rooftop. The place had a 1 Euro "Pfand" (deposit), but you'll get it back once you return the bottle.
google avatar

Gemma S.

Yelp
A Berliner friend of mine told me to meet her at this funky rooftop bar and although finding my way up to it from the U-Bahn was rather confusing, it was an incredibly cool place. Got a beer and sat outside and watched the sunset while the DJ inside played some funky music. I am excited for it to warm up so I can take a trip back there and not have my hands become icicle once the sun is down. The sunset was incredible and you can see the entire city. Even an amazing place to check out if only for the view! Although having a drink there makes the experience a little more fun.
google avatar

Mariah M.

Yelp
Klunkerkranich is one of the best rooftop bars in Berlin in the summer. It can be a little bit hard to find, as you need to climb the ramp from the top floor of the parking lot in the mall to get there, but that just adds flavour to this already very unique experience. There is a 3€ entrance fee per person, but once you're there you'll see why. The entire space including loads of greenery and a lot of outdoor space that needs regular upkeep is where your cover goes. The music can be a little bit weird and off-putting sometimes, but sometimes you get lucky and its great. This is one of my favorite spots in the city to relax and soak in the sunlight.
google avatar

Tyler L.

Yelp
Not far away is the exact type of place that makes Berlin wonderful. Klunkerkranich defies explanation, but I'll do my best. Head inside a shopping mall, find two elevators up to the parking deck, walk around up to the roof level, and you'll find what is maybe best described as a mini golf course but if it was a bar. From this height, the view over the city's downtown is incredible and it's even better while enjoying some beer. The space is strange and psychedelic with some strange décor and tons of space to spread out. Get in early to grab a good table before all the twenty year old hipsters grab all the good tables.
google avatar

Hailey G.

Yelp
Super trendy place. Cool location but extremely hard to find. Certain staff was rude but we were obviously tourist (We are young professions). Drinks were great and the vibe is unbeatable. Highly recommend but with obvious hesitations as to who I'd recommend to...
google avatar

Nicole M.

Yelp
Cool in theory - great view of the city... Beautifully decorated outdoor space. Great music - great atmosphere. Not much of a selection of food though, so don't expect to go here for any sort of extensive menu. There's also a 1€ deposit for returned glasses. I understand why a place would do this, but the problem is, the line to the bar to even get a drink was out of control - who feels like standing in for 15 minutes just to get a 1€ refund? Guess another way for this place to make money. Lastly, the line for a drink is ridiculous. 10-15 minute wait just got a drink. Worth experiencing for the view and atmosphere alone, but not enough to give more than 3 stars
google avatar

Jep M.

Yelp
Definitely a dope spot to go to if you wanted to be on a rooftop. Really nice way to enjoy a night when the weather is decent in the 60s. Came here at night at 12am. A little tricky to get into but key is to enter through the parking lot across Monte Carlo I believe it is or maybe Monte Verde. But walk up the long ramp then take the first elevators your see to the 5th floor then walk diagonally opposite direction and you should find it. Entrance fee is upon your discretion. Gave them 5 Euros myself and my gf. They have 2 levels and a DJ. Looks like a rooftop designed by a depressed Tim Burton or if the only people left on the planet were the people from waterworld and decided to build a rooftop

Yelp
Had a weird experience here. Not sure if my girlfriend or I did anything wrong but we were basically ignored at the bar when we were trying to get drinks. There was a point where a bartender came over looked at us then looked away and went to help someone else. Not sure if they don't like serving drinks to asians or Americans or both but this made us feel like we were in the wrong place. Avoid if you can, there's no need for this type of behavior in the 21st century.

Yelp
The first rooftop bar I went to in Berlin! It was kind of difficult to find, and my friends were really skeptical as we walked through the closed mall. There are stickers with a bird on it around the mall that point you in the right direction though! It's technically the 6th floor parking garage transformed into a rooftop bar. There were a lot of people there, even on a Tuesday night, so we waited a little while before we were let in (not more than 10 min). Though it was kind of dark, the decor was super cute and quirky and very green. The inside, where the bar was located, also looked clean and well-decorated. There was quite a bit of space for outside seating--we didn't get an actual bench, but sat on some steps which was fine. The ambience was very chill and with a great view from outside, it was a great place to sit and talk with friends. There's also one of those b/w analog photobooths near the entrance of the bar! I ended up just getting a Cuba Libre. It was made with lime, tequila, and some sort of soda. It was pretty good, and the other cocktails that my friends ordered were good as well (I would recommend their Moscow Mule!) Overall, a really hip and chill place to spend a night out. I would recommend going!

Yelp
Went with my brother while i was visiting him in Berlin This rooftop bar is on the roof of a mall and a parking lot (you access via the parking). You have to pay an entrance fee and you get a stamp on your hand. Depending on the hour you get there, you may or may not have to wait to get in. It gets very crowded and it's not easy to find a table or a place to sit in. The view is absolutely super. I was there in early September 2015 and the weather helped a lot. As it's a rooftop, and it is quite high, you get an amazing view of Berlin because you are in Rathaus Neukoln (south/south-east of Berlin). The price is the same as other bars in Berlin, and you can enjoy a variety of beers, wine and cocktails. My favorites being Weissbier and Aperol Spritz As I said, it can get crowded in there and the typical people are between 20 and 30 years old, and you'll see hipsters. I have a problem with this place but also in a lot other places in Berlin: The wasps/bees. There are a lot of wasps around you at the bar, because they have a lot of flowers and such. Be warned.
google avatar

Andrew V.

Yelp
I went here in September of 2017, and it was absolutely one of the highlights of my trip. Do not miss this! After finishing a walking tour, a friend and I asked the guide what are some neat, unique, local places to go, and he suggested this place. He described it as a rooftop bar, and gave us directions which involved a bit "Trust me, I'm not lying"; the instructions were to goto a shopping mall, take an elevator "a high as you can go" in the parking garage, and then walk up a car ramp to the roof. As we got close to the roof, we thought we had been taken for a ride, so to speak, but sure enough, as we turned the corner on the circular ramp, there was a piece of scrap wood on a wall with a haphazardly-painted name: Klunkerkranich. We paid a 3 euro entry fee, and a 1 euro deposit on the glass, where we could drink Pilsener Urquell and listen to, what sounded like to my ears, gypsy jazz. They also had a limited food counter with some barsnacks. The open air roof has plenty of tables and beautiful views to the north and west, right over many of the sights of Berlin. As it is such a low-slung city, this was spectacular as dusk fell and the city lights arose. Worth the 15 minute trek from city center!

Maggi S.

Yelp
For warm summer afternoons, the place is awesome! A lot of young people enjoying the amazing view of Berlin when the sun is going down! But also at night the scenery is very beautiful but you can see the stars and the moon and the romantic colorful lights! The entrance is 3€ but it's totally worth it! It's a bit difficult to find it: enter arcaden from the entrance that says fitness center go left for the elevator and press p5! You will find yourself on the parking lot! Then go straight and left and you will find the turn that goes up!
google avatar

Nadja S.

Yelp
It was the first place I went to when I visited Berlin. Well, you have to pay an entrance fee (I think 3€) but in return you get to enjoy a very lovely view. My tip would be to arrive at 7, enjoy the sun, snap some pictures of the panorama while sunset, and have a few drinks before you go dancing somewhere else that night. The atmosphere is nice, the people mostly international and the music is chill. It is a popular place so make sure you find a cozy spot where you can lean back and have a nice conversation. If it gets a little cold outside you are allowed to casually light your cigarette inside :) A good place for a sunny Sunday afternoon. Definitely worth a visit.
google avatar

Dominique F.

Yelp
Loved the chill atmosphere of this rooftop. When we came, there was a turkish festival and there was a 5Euro entrance fee. Otherwise, it's 3 Euros I believe. However, on a nice day it's definitely worth it!
google avatar

Per-Ola M.

Yelp
Sweet rooftop bar with a nice view. Unfortunately, it also comes with an entrance fee. But, it is not that hefty.
google avatar

Lindsay C.

Yelp
A quirky rooftop bar on top of a shopping arcade with great views over the city? Sure, that sounds like a great place to have some drinks and watch the sun set! Or so I thought... I tried in vain a couple of times but alas, the bar was never open (despite the opening hours on the sign saying it should be...) Instead I took in the view from the 5th floor of the car park with around 20 other people who'd had the same idea.
google avatar

Ilkin I.

Yelp
The idea of this place is super cool. However, paying € 4 for entrance is not. It's location is great. You get a good view of the city. Small tip here. Before 4 pm, its free to enter the place and even if you go there after 4 pm, just don't go in. Hang around a same design, free to bring drinks from Kaufland at downstairs part of the bar. Still worth a visit.

Yelp
If you are in Berlin, this place is s must!! This is the coolest hipster place to go with friends and soak in the amazing views and vibe. The drinks are equally incredible. It's located in a super random location and on top of a mall parking lot...but once you arrive, you won't want to leave!!

Yelp
If a friend hadn't told me, I would never had guessed that there is a rooftop bar at this shopping center. We spent the whole afternoon hanging out here in the sun, eating pizza and drinking drinks. It's very relaxed and with an amazing view over Berlin. I will definitely everyone going to Berlin to go here.

Yelp
Awesome spot if you want to have a cool view of Berlin. Great usage of excess space in a vibrant city. A hidden gem and the perfect inner city getaway. Self-service keeps you walking around a bit to discover the breathtaking views and the cool crowd. The food could be better but hey Berlin got so much other places for that. On working days try to be there before 6 to avoid the queuing.

Yelp
Great view of the city, but tricky to get to at night when the mall is closed. Cheap drinks. Lots of seating. The Djs were so good--funk sampling and lots of dancing.

Yelp
This place is just soo chill. Great to start off the night, great to go out to and have it be your main destination. Just an all around beautiful view and fun crowd. Here are the instructions on how to get there...Take the elevator to P5 and walk up the ramp in the parking lot...The bar is essentially located at the top of the parking lot.

Yelp
great relaxed place. Sometimes a bit loud, if you just wanna relax, but the view is amazing. Service could be more friendly but all in all very nice and rare.

Yelp
Best view of Berlin. Perfect on a warm summer evening. Great space for private events as well.

Yelp
Does it make me a hipster to give Klunkerkranich a 5? Maybe - you have to pay an entrance fee, even in the afternoon. Honestly, if you aren't in the loop, it is very hard to find. During my trip to Europe, I would use Citymaps2go to get to an address in cached mode, but that obviously isn't helpful here since it is on top of the mall. It wasn't until I went inside the mall and used free wifi to go on Tripadvisor that I realized where to go. Once you get up to the bar, it is paradise. It was a surreal experience to watch a huge storm come in and rock the city center, while the sun blasted on the other side of the bar. Is this place full of hipsters? Yes. Is it kind of weird to charge a cover at 1pm on a Tuesday? Yes. However, that surreal view from the rooftop is a memory I will cherish forever.

Yelp
I am in loooooove. When I'm Berlin never ever skip this place. NEVER! What a lovely vibe on the rooftop of a parking garage. Little hard to find it tough but that makes it extra fun when you actually do find it. Again long line and it went slow, one in one out policy. Okay understandable. But the ppl in line where happy and it was fun to be in the line already. When inside ( entrance fee we paid was around 3 euros) you enter this beautiful rooftop with lots of attribute a made from palettes, lots of beautiful colors and flowers and the amazing view you have over while Berlin. It was perfect. This place is maintained by volunteers from the neighborhood so they ask for a small contribute to keep them up and running. There is a small bar where you can sit dance and drink. It was quite cold outside so we went inside almost immediately. Inside was playing a live band, playing a different kinds of music. We where hungry so we wanted something to eat. It's kind of a self service way. You go to a counter and order platters of food. The food is different every day but it's all local and fresh. That makes me happy so happy. Really awesome place. GO RUN!!

Yelp
Great place to visit during the summer. Rooftop view is great. Avoid going on weekends though, gets too crowded.

Yelp
Great location, little choice of drinks, great location, good music, great location, poor service, great sight, moody personnel. All in all, very worth going but do not count on being treated Ina friendly way. At all.

Yelp
Amazing vibes. View of the entire city. ENTER THROUGH PARKING GARAGE (I think haha). Very great for large groups or a chill place to hang and talk. Cozy lounge and also fun dance floor upstairs. Affordable beers and drinks.

Yelp
Worth it on a nice day. Cool, yet boring view of Berlin, pretty flat skyline. Decent drinks for okay-prices. Best thing is the vibe and ambiance. Very "Berlin" and rustic/unique. Usually it's a struggle to find a sit-down table, but good amount of other seating. Go before 4pm to not get charged a cover.
