I recently had the opportunity to climb the Via Ferrata in Estes Park with KMAC, and it was absolutely incredible! From start to finish, the experience was well-organized and filled with adventure. The guides were top-notch—professional, knowledgeable, and always made sure everyone felt safe while having fun. The climb itself was a perfect mix of challenge and thrill. Being up there on the rock face, with the sweeping views of the surrounding mountains, gave me a sense of awe and accomplishment. The safety gear and setup allowed me to focus on the climb and fully enjoy the experience without worrying. Whether you're a seasoned climber or new to this kind of adventure, the Via Ferrata is an unforgettable way to explore the beauty of Estes Park. I can’t recommend KMAC enough. I can say enough GREAT things about my experience on the Cloud Ladder Via Ferrata with KMAC. First off I’d like to say that I’ve done two other VFs in Colorado (both highly rated) and the Cloud Ladder was better by far. My partner and I are both experienced climbers and thought we might be “underwhelmed”. But , WOW, the position, route selection , VF features (including two sky bridges!), was a constant thrill. Our guide was attentive but not patronizing, he acknowledged our previous climbing experience and only “talked us through” on a couple of occasions when the clip-in points weren’t obvious. What a great guide (we tipped generously BTW). This was a high adventure experience with a huge measure of safety build in from the start! If you’re really for a maximum VF experience I strongly recommend the KMAC Cloud Ladder VF.

I took KMAC’s Recreational Level 1 Avalanche Course. Talk about an eye opening course that I am so glad to have participated in. The course taught me a ton, was a blast, and Dom was a very knowledgeable guide. Don’t let the cost deter you. This class can help keep you alive in the backcountry.

We used KMAC Guides to take a guided cross country skiing tour in Rocky Mountain National Park. Our guide, Reed, was absolutely fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and got us up on the skis in no time. We had a great time and he made it that much more enjoyable. Would highly recommend this outfit and will be contacting them again for some summer activities.

Our group was in Estes Park for a bachelorette party and of all the activities we chose, Via Feratta was by far the best! As Colorado natives, we knew it would be beautiful along the way, but some of the pictures our guide took were stunning with the scenery in the back and our friendship as highlight. We also have lots of pictures to celebrate the accomplishment…because even though we were all extremely active people, this climb was challenging at parts. The guides are all very friendly, experienced, and knowledgeable, communicating perfectly to keep people comfortable. Highly recommend. We’ll definitely go back!

Eden is an AMAZING guide! KMAC is doing a great job! We celebrated my daughter's 16th birthday in CO with a dad-daughter trip. Climbing was one of our adventures. It was the highlight of our trip. Here's what was great: our guide Eden, the hike, the climbs, and the challenge. The climb selections were skill-level appropriate, and we loved them. In a word, majestic!

We had a fantastic day with Sam on the Cloud Ladder via ferrata. Sam was a great guide- communicative, knowledgeable, fun to talk with, and took incredible photos for us! We highly recommend going on a KMAC adventure and having Sam as a guide!
