Knap Guest House

I had the pleasure of staying at the Knap guest house. I was in the area on business and needed accommodation for one night.||The room was the Superior King. Super huge comfy bed and great dual head shower and lovely fresh towels. Room was very clean with a homely feel. TV and WiFi were also good.||Breakfast was delivered on time and was to a very high standard.||Would happily stay again. 😁

We visited Tarbert for my partner’s birthday and stayed at Knap Guest House in the Chieftan Suite. The room was really impressive, with its own wee living room area and breakfast nook looking out over the harbour. The team we met were great and helped to arrange a wee birthday bottle of wine in the room for my partner. Breakfast was included each morning and the little list of items to choose from was also really good. The town itself it absolutely gorgeous, and we were lucky enough to catch some fireworks on the Saturday night. We would definitely recommend Knap Guest House and Tarbert as a fantastic place for exploring Argyle & Bute and Kintyre!

What a lovely spot! Such a cosy and well looked after Guesthouse. From the tartan stair runner to the bed set up and art work it was a delightful stay. Breakfast in the room was also a lovely touch while looking out over the harbour. Great stay! Nice host!

Absolutely Fabulous, Alan was our host was a really nice guy ,we arrived late afternoon after a long drive down from Fort William via a stop off at Oban for a spot of lunch. My Partner Debbie & Myself were absolutely Shattered, we booked through Booking.com after a few failed attempts to get a room in other B&B's . So glad we got in at the Knap, it was Perfect for us and we both can't speak highly enough of what a great place to stay in Tarbert, don't miss this Gem out it's Fantastic 😍.Thanks Alan for a lovely stay at the Knap Guest house.

Very clean, comfortable and quiet room. Excellent booking process, good communication from host. We woud have liked some healthy friut/yoghurt option for breakfast but realise its difficult to offer everything.

What a wonderful gem! Space is amazing and comfortable. All the little things that make a pace a stand out were provided. Host is wonderful!

Good Size Room. Good breakfast. Location is fine. Clean. A bit strange you don't meet host - arrived using intercom, breakfast delivered to door in morning - strange but it does work. Table in room to eat from so all good. Would recommend. Ate out at local castle - again would recommend for views from restaurant.

This is a really nice guest house on the Front Street at Tarbert. The room was beautifully furnished and I especially liked the breakfast nook by the window. ||There is tea and coffee in the room with a small fridge holding proper milk and chilled water. Nice touch.||The WiFi code is provided in the room as is a form to request your choice of breakfast which is delivered to your room for your selected time. ||Our room was on the 2nd floor and there are only stairs but it does have sturdy bannisters to help you get up them after a night of dancing or a day of walking.
