The winery itself is fantastic, the staff are attentive, knowledgeable, and make the experience enjoyable. Unfortunately, the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. Wait times for both food and service were long, and the quality of the dishes was inconsistent.
The aesthetics are an easy win, the layout and presentation are inviting, but the food simply doesn’t measure up. For instance, I was asked how I wanted my burger cooked, only for it to arrive completely different than requested. If the kitchen can’t deliver on that option, I’d rather they not ask. I’m usually pretty easygoing, but for the venue and the price point, I expected more.
The fries were another letdown: half undercooked and soggy, half overcooked with a dense, raw center. The drinks were good, but when the food quality is so uneven, the bill felt almost insulting. To make matters worse, we had to physically track down staff just to settle the check, waiting about 45 minutes with no service. That happened more than once, both to request the check and then again to have the card processed.
All of this was especially disappointing because it followed an excellent wine tasting experience. Even after a couple of cocktails and a bit of a wine buzz, the food and service issues were too glaring to overlook. From a quality standpoint, the restaurant simply didn’t deliver, and that’s what ultimately pushed me to leave this review.
