Knights Inn Huntsville, ON

The location is beautiful! The room was not spotless but it was relatively clean. As another guest had mentioned, there was a used towel hanging on the back of my bathroom door so that’s still a work in progress. I was there three nights and had to ask for coffee for the next couple of nights, but it did eventually arrive. Service was friendly. Very strong scented air freshener of some kind in the lobby area, if you are at all scent sensitive you will have a very tough time in there. I appreciate the staff I met who are obviously making an effort .

They do not offer breakfast as advertised. The room reflects the price. Microwave plugged into a power is a fire waiting to happen. Beds were clean the bathrooms were surfaced clean with no attempt to clean scuffs on the wall or dirty finger prints around the door. The heater doesn't appear to be maintained properly and is loud but in all fairness it is minus 30 outside so good luck keeping anything warm. I watched as someone got a frozen can of pop from their pop machine and wanted a refund and they just said no, it's not there pop machine. Which maybe true but it's there to provide amenities on their property. Last, I see the review and them replying that they take them seriously and apologizing. I see the replies which is great but I don't see any accountability. Spend the extra few dollars and go elsewhere.

Room with jacuzzi. We arrived. No issues room was very clean and basic . We weren’t looking for anything fancy just a night out . Breakkie in the morning No issues at all. Will definitely return. Across road is lake nice view. Staff was good no complaints. They say don’t judge a book by it’s cover. Motel looking on outside but room was ideal

Really nice place to stay if you are visiting that area. We stayed in Jetted Tub King bed room and it was really nice room with really nice lake view. The Knights Inn is on the main road and easily accessible, they also provide the free breakfast in the morning. Good quality rooms with pleasant ambience.

I had stayed the weekend in huntsville, After looking around I thought that this would be a good place to sleep. It was nice enough, and clean enough. I chose this place knowing that there was free breakfast, as it was advertised everywhere. Upon going to the breakfast area in the morning we were greeted by the inn keeper, who told us that because it's winter, they do not offer anything. He was cold and looked at me as if this information was told to me. We were quite upset as we now were hungry and had to change our plans. We highly suggest that the sign outfront be changed as it states there is a continental breakfast provided. We will be choosing another place to stay next time we are in town

Positive: It was in the Muskoka's, a nice area with a lake.The shower had plenty of hot water. Negative: There was no eggs, no sausages or meat for breakfast. It was the worst breakfast I have had in a long time. I do not want to return to that hotel.

The hotel is old and dingy. None of us wanted to shower there. We checked for bed bugs and there was no evidence of them so that was a plus. Our sink didn't work when we arrived but someone came immediately and fixed it. The room price wasn't cheap either.

Spacious room. Two queens and two sofa beds - all comfortable. Good location - some view of the lake short walk into heart of town. Clean. AC a bit loud. Free parking. Service ok. Breakfast very limited - maybe just add some boiled eggs? All in all pretty good.

A great affordable option near downtown Huntsville. You can only expect so much! There is a bit of weirdness but that is more of a northern Canada thing than particular to the hotel.
