It's permanently closed now! Oh no! Was my friend's favorite ice cream place of all time.

The line was a bit long because only one of the waffle machines was working, but it was worth the wait! We have a really interesting and amazing flavours of ice cream and sorbet. I had the mango ice cream with sticky rice which was the Perfect Blend of fruity mango and warm crunchy rice. Also the employee was really nice. They also have a really cute snack size scoop for people who don't want too much dessert.

Interested to check them out as I’m a big fan of Bang Bang. I was there on a weekday around 5pm, there was a family with small children in front of me and about 3 staff working. With the staff to guest ratio, no one stepped up to help me while the family ahead was deciding on what to order. When I finally got my order (I ordered a baby Kong which took a few minutes to make), I was underwhelmed with the waffle, it was over baked leaving it too crunchy and no soft center. The ice cream was ok, but tasted like it’s been in the freezer a bit too long. I would come back to try the other flavors, but not for their bubble waffles.

I am so excited this opened up right around the corner from my favourite - Famiglia Baldassarre - great snack for after a carbo-fest. There are so many interesting and unique flavours to choose from, and I like that it’s about the actual ice cream versus just a splattering of gimmicky toppings like other hyped up ice cream places. The ice cream is rich, and the flavours came through for what we ordered - hazelnut, sesame and honeycomb. The place itself is much bigger than Bang Bang, so it can currently handle a line situation. There are 2 sets of benches and a picnic table outside. It is bright and clean, and the staff were friendly and quick (though we were 1 of only 3 customers at the time). Pricing was okay -$6 for two scoops in a cup and $6 for a mini egg waffle with one scoop. The waffle was okay; enjoyed the ice cream more actually on its own. I am sure this place will see the usual Toronto crazed lines fairly soon if it hasn’t already (we went around dinner time). Update: Came back here again in Feb 2020. There were even more flavours and the owner, Arthur is just so nice and easy to talk to. Mont Blanc and miso caramel are both so good!

Ate the hazelnut and honeycomb icecreams and a black sesame with a baby kong waffle. Waffle was hot, fresh and delicious. Ice cream had a nice creamyness and good flavours. Was disappointed certain flavours were not available. Would eat here again.

It’s no secret how much I love this place! I’m here almost everyday in the summer and a few times a week even in the winter, admittedly... I consider myself very lucky to be only a few steps away from this gem. I’ve tried most of their menu but my favourite is London Fog and Strawberry Shortcake! Cinnamon toast crunch is also up there. They have such unique flavours, it’s hard not to want to try them all! Texture and taste always hits the spot. Do yourself a favour and buy yourself a pint or two for the weekend. You’ll probably finish it in one sitting (no, just me)? The staff are also really nice and it’s always wonderful to see Arthur (the owner) to get a glimpse into what flavours are coming out next!

These guys knock it our of the park! Love their variety of unique ice cream flavours. I recommend their mango sticky rice or ube, reminds me of home. Expect a line, but it’s worth the wait. Order at the window where the menu is listed on the wall with lights to show availability. You have the option of snack size, single scoop or double scoop in cup, cone or egg waffle. They even offer pints to bring home. Portions and price point are reasonable for the quality and specialty of their ice cream. Some benches and a washing station are offered. Finally, wonderful staff who are understanding and take the time to tell you about their flavours. Definitely recommend to get you through the summer!

This place tends to always have a line-up outside and for good reason. The ice cream is so so good. I've tried a few flavours and they are all so uniquely different and taste like they've been made in small batches. The campfire marshmallow had real caramel marshmallow pieces in it. The birthday cake icecream had real birthday cake dough in it as well. I can't say more wonderful things about this place, you have to try it!

It’s a cute ice cream shop tucked away off a main road. They have a large menu but always have flavours that aren’t available. The ice cream taste good, nothing amazing but better than grocery store ice cream.
