One of the best wine tastings in the valley. Pieter du Toit, a fourth-generation wine grower, was great with history explained, wine was superb, "plankie" steak was sublime Probably the best kept secret in the Riebeek-Kasteel/Valley

Awesome experience! 100% authentic and local. We really loved meeting Pieter who is a very nice and knowledgeable winemaker. It’s not everyday that you get to do a tasting with the wine maker himself! The vibe was very relaxed and I especially liked the Chenin Blanc.

Absolutely incredible family winery! Very lovely chenin blanc, nice wine tasting area and super personal touch. You can chat to a farm owner and get to know more about their wines! Highly recommend

This off the beaten track wine farm is quite unique...the farm is run by the owners for the last 100 years or more...the tastings are strictly by appointment on sat...it's done by the owner who's very passionate about his wines...the wines are good & we bought a case...the tasting area is in a barn off the beaten track...the owner also arranges for group bookings of six or more then does an entire experience with food included at R350 per person...the farm is a working farm so there's catle & lots of friendly dogs around...

Amazing! Pieter welcomed us and shared the whole winery history. He walked us through the different wines they produce and he made sure we felt at home. It is a family owned business! 🥰 Definitely a place I’d recommend.

Had a lovely afternoon at Knolfontein! Not only were the wines delicious, the hospitality was lovely. The owner of the farm came and explained every variety, the history of the farm, and sat and drank with us. We left with a case of their Chenin Blanc. Thank you Pieter ☺️
