I recently visited Knott's Berry Farm Bakery with high expectations, especially for their boysenberry-themed pastries. Unfortunately, my experience was underwhelming. The croissant roll, advertised as being stuffed with boysenberry custard, contained only a small dab of custard on the top, rather than being fully stuffed as described. Similarly, the boysenberry tart lacked any custard at the bottom or elsewhere, making it less flavorful than anticipated. This was surprising, considering that other offerings like the mixed fruit tart and strawberry tart both featured a generous amount of custard. What you do get is a ginormous scoop of boysenberry jam just a big pile of jam on your tart. Given Knott's Berry Farm's reputation for boysenberry treats, I expected more consistency and richness in these pastries. The minimal filling in the croissant roll and the absence of custard in the boysenberry tart were disappointing. I hope the bakery considers enhancing the quality and accuracy of their boysenberry items to better align with customer expectations.

Everything looks fantastic, very professional. Take a look at the pictures!

Tried the boysenberry cheesecake. The portion is large and it tastes like what you’d expect an average cheesecake tastes like. The bakery sells lots of baked goods and everything looks really fresh. The staff were great and the theming is nice. Would eat here again.

Outside of Knott's Berry Farm, this bakery is a gem. The atmosphere is clean and inviting, with friendly and helpful customer service. I ordered a whole boysenberry pie to go along with some cookies, and both were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend stopping by this bakery for a delightful treat experience.

Very busy in the evening while leaving the park but the line moved efficiently. Baked goods were reasonably priced. Purchased several boysenberry pastries to have for breakfast back at my hotel and also a slice of boysenberry pie. Delicious and much better than I was expecting for “theme park food”. Wish my trip had lasted longer in order to try even more varieties of boysenberry goodness.

I love this bakery and have since I was a kid. Their baked items are consistently delicious although just like everything else their prices have gone up. With that being said I still love their cupcakes, danishes, cookies and pies. An all american bakery that delivers on taste.

This bakery has so many yummy treats! Grab something to eat on the way to the park and go back before you leave you will find something you like. Snoopy cookies are sooooo good and there are many more sweets treats to enjoy!👍👍

Just bought a cake asked the server what was inside she said venella cake with strawberries, turns out it was strawberry cake with whip cream frosting. Not what I wanted to spend my $35 dollars on. You should at least know your products in sales.

Yelp
"Run, run, run, as fast as you can...you can't catch me, I'm the gingerbread man!" Growing up hearing this catchphrase from the beloved children's story & eating homemade gingerbread brings back wonderful childhood memories especially during the holidays. In fact, one of my favourite holiday treats is still a good gingerbread cookie...shaped like "The Gingerbread Man," of course. Speaking of gingerbread, you probably already know about the now viral mouse-shaped gingerbread cookies at the "other" amusement park here in Orange County. But...if you aren't interested in chasing after that nearly impossible-to-get cookie, nor do you want to deal with the ridiculous crowds, there are other options to satisfy that craving. "Where?!?!?" You ask??? At The Farm Bakery at Knott's Berry Farm! Located in the Berry Marketplace shopping area (just outside the amusement park), The Farm Bakery is a hidden gem. Although it's not the fanciest nor is it an "IG-worthy" or gourmet bakery, they do offer a decent variety of treats including cookies, fruit turnovers, cupcakes, brownies, pies, boysenberry and Snoopy-themed treats, beverages, & even custom cakes. They also offer some of the best gingerbread man cookies I've had in a long time. The gingerbread cookies are perfectly spiced (not too overpowering), soft, fresh, & generous in size. Only available seasonally, they do sell out quickly, so if you enjoy gingerbread, get it before it's gone. Bonus: If you come at just the right time, you'll be able to snag a fresh gingerbread cookie (or two or three) without all the long lines & hassle. If you're craving a sweet treat & you're in the area of Knott's Berry Farm, check out The Farm Bakery. P.S. --- Dear Knott's Farm Bakery: If you're reading this, Please-Please-Please bring back those delicious mini pineapple upside down cakes! They were amazing!

Yelp
Knotts bakery is outside of the park. It is located right by Mrs. Knotts. They have a large variety of goodies. Prices are standard for a theme park. The service felt rushed and unhelpful. I had the apple turnover. It was OK. It wa larger than I'm used to so the price paid was with it. Plenty of apple filling.

Tayaporn R.

Yelp
I don't give even one star for this because the cake too sweet every bite have too much sugar I won't introduce to friends to buy it here trying to add too much color to make it looks good but it's not

Tracy A.

Yelp
The staff is so friendly at Knott's Bakery. You walk in and everything looks so delicious that it's hard to choose. On the latest visit we had the Snoopy Santa cookie which was yummy and cute. The boysenberry cookie was meh. It was essentially just a purple sugar cookie with boysenberry sprinkles. The color makes it a novelty. The best by far was the gingerbread man. It was full of flavor and soft, unlike most gingerbread cookies which are hard. I would get the gingerbread man again in a heartbeat!

Ryan T.

Yelp
The pastries are not fresh tasting or possibly just low quality ingredients. It seems the quality is going down hill.

Yelp
While looking for a sweet treat after a day of fun at Knott's Berry Farm theme park, I happened to stop here. Upon entering the bakery, I was warmly greeted by employee Audrey, then asked her if the bakery had any vegan options available. Audrey quickly replied to me that yes, the bakery has two vegan options: a vegan cupcake as well as a vegan fruit tart. Since both vegan dessert options were available, I purchased both the cupcake and tart since there was only one left of both items. Upon eating the tart, it was pretty to look at since it was topped with fresh berries and delicious to eat. The cupcake was dense yet moist and topped with purple icing since it's the Halloween season. Now the I know that these desserts are available, I definitely plan to make stopping by the bakery a new tradition whenever I visit Knott's Berry Farm.

Yelp
Knotts Farm Bakery located outside of the park. They have lots of goodies! I just couldn't resist the temptation. They even have some vegan items! So of course I had to try one lol I grabbed the vegan cupcake and fruit tart. The fruit tart was delicious. Everything about it was fresh and perfect. The vegan cupcake ended up in the trash. I didn't care for it much, I've had plenty of vegan cupcakes that are far better. The purple mousse on top was pretty looking. But the taste wasn't there. And the chocolate cake was dry.

Yelp
The food selections are excellent. The atmosphere quaint, the prices are a bit high, but is an amusement park. Long lines, but they do try and get you out quickly.

Yelp
It was my sister's birthday, and we got a Black Forest Cake for us to eat to celebrate. First, we were shocked at the price. It was $45, which is way more than any of the other bakeries nearby. The stuff at the bakery did not used to cost as much as it does now. The worse part, however, was when we cut into the cake and ate it. My sister found a hair in her slice. That is absolutely unacceptable. I feel like Knott's food has gone downhill in the past couple of years. Our experience did not used to be like this. The food used to be delicious and unproblematic. Not so much anymore. Unfortunately, I do not think my family and I will be back again.

Yelp
We happened to be in the area, so thought we'd pick up two pieces of pie for dessert--what a project that turned out to be! The bakery has a street address, so we didn't realize you're entering the whole complex on a one-way street, with its full parking lots, with the only other option the $50 (fifty!!!) "preferred" parking far from the bakery. We circled the block (no street parking), reentered, and parked in the drop-off zone while I walked the equivalent of three blocks to the bakery (where no prices were listed for the prepackaged slices, just for whole pies. Stood in line, finally got the slices, which were placed in a bag without my seeing them. They cost something like $14.50 (double that =more than they charge for a whole pie). We get home, and I'm surprised to see the slices are noticeably two different sizes, one decidedly undersized. Don't they have one of those metal push- down pie cutters that gives you 6 or 8 perfectly equal slices every time?!? The pie was okay...nothing you couldn't find with less hassle and money elsewhere, with decent-sized slices for the money.

Yelp
We've been purchasing their chocolate chip cookies for awhile every so often for family & friends - they had been $3 a piece which seemed fairly reasonable for a fairly tasty, fresh cookie. This past Friday, we were surprised they had raised the price 33% a cookie by $1! Also, we had never been charged sales tax for items from the bakery but we were hit with that also... weird... Suddenly the price of 5 cookies went from $15 to $21.55! Sorry but you've priced us out. We'll have to seek treats elsewhere

Hector R.

Yelp
The bakery has some really good sweets. We had the cookies and they were amazing. They are not cheep but your at an amusement park.

Heath C.

Yelp
I wish this place was better because they have potential. Boysenberry has a pretty light taste, not very sweet or sour so it needs a little help. Everything I've tried here with Boysenberry was kind of bland. My favorite thing is the boysenberry bar. I've ordered that thing a few times. My son likes the frosted cookies - they're pretty good. Service is good. They give pass-holder discounts. I love how they've kept the look and feel for so many years.

Yelp
Came here in hopes of pre-ordering some boysenberry pies for Thanksgiving. It was hard to find or even reach this bakery with the phone number on the website and on Yelp since it kept leading straight to Knott's Berry Farm. Unfortunately, this place only accepts pre-orders for orders $50 or up. Each boysenberry pies cost $18 and we were only trying to purchase two so we couldn't pre-order it. While looking around, the boysenberry pie bars was alluring and it looked so delicious, and I had to try it with my family! I purchased some, and a really kind lady named Jasmine helped us with the order. She was super sweet, and answered all the questions that was asked in a professional manner. We will be back very soon and hope to try more delicious sweets! Thank you for the great experience :-)

Margret C.

Yelp
The boysenberry pastry - was the bomb! Oh my god! So darn good. I only eat this many sweets when we're on vacation. (Normally, I'm very disciplined with my diet and exercise plan monday through friday.) But wowie, this was so yummy. I've been baking since I was nine years old and I gravitate towards items I do not make. Yes, we'll be getting this one again!

Edith A.

Yelp
Attended the Boysenberry festival for the 1st time. It was great. Went on a weekday so it wasn't packed at all. Took less than 5 minutes to get food. You pay $45 and get 5 tastings. Portions are single serving. Not huge Portions but not small either. Actually got full after the 3rd tasting. You get a list of all the food available. Tons to chose from. Lots of deserts as well. If you don't want to waste your tasting on drinks, I suggest purchasing. If you do use up all your "tickets" you can buy more food, buy honestly don't think you'll need to. Great way to spend the day

Yelp
A MUST DO 4 & 1/2 STARS. Knott's Farm Bakery is located in Knott's Marketplace next to Mrs. Knott's Chicken To Go & Restaurant & is adjacent to the Amusement Park. if you come to Knott's Berry Farm you can't leave here without getting something Boysenberry - their Signature Fruit. If you aren't familiar with Boysenberries they are a hybrid fruit. They are a cross between an European Raspberry, an European Blackberry & an American Dewberry. They are a Tasty Fruit with a Distinctive Purple Color. Walter Knott for whom the Park is named after was the first one to commercially cultivate the Boysenberry in Southern California. They have many different choices of desserts in here to choose. I tried the Boysenberry Sugar Cookie & The Boysenberry Macarons. Both are EXCELLENT! It used to be, you had to have Mega Bucks & be really rich to have the Good Life, not anymore. The Game has changed. You've been Upgraded. Now You Can Live Like a King on a Limited Budget!

Yelp
Products I would give a 4 out of 5, but service and efficiency a 2 out of 5. I ordered a sandwich that was good, but poorly put together. If you're in a rush, don't go here if you see a line at the door as they take their sweet time making sandwiches and don't start making your items until you pay for them. I came here on a Saturday afternoon and I believe the staff were super young and they were slow and didn't feel the need to hurry along even with a line building outside. Sandwich was good in that they use fresh ingredients, but after annoyingly waiting for my sandwich I legit lost my appetite AND instead of wrapping my sandwich up in some was paper, they put it in an over sized to-go container and didn't put toothpicks in them to hold the sandwich together so half of it it fell apart and all the contents were all over the box after I walked directly to my car (about a 15 minute walk). My friend wanted to get a boysenberry pie to take home and I waited in line with him and noticed they sold sandwiches and soup. I ordered their BLT on a cheese roll and added a mini,sugar-free, lemon meringue pie to my order. When we joined the line, it was at the door so we were the first ones to stand outside. We thought the line would move quickly, but it was SLOW! When I got to where the cookies and pies were in the display case the employee behind the counter asked what I wanted, took my sandwich order and handed a piece of paper back to me with this. When I finally got to the register to pay, I expected my sandwich to already be ready to go, but when I handed my piece of paper to the cashier, he was just putting in my sandwich order!! I had to wait another 10 minutes for them to make it. I walked back towards the sandwich area and watched as the girl making mine an three other peoples sandwiches was casually having a conversation with another co-worker. There were 2 people before me that had sandwich orders and I witnessed them walk up to the sandwich people and ask where there orders were at. They need to hire people from Subway to make these sandwiches because they are just no fast at all. There display case had a lot of really good looking cakes, cookies, pastries at a decent price and the size of some of these items were HUGE! Again, if there's no line, definitely give it a try, but if there's more than 3 people in line expect a wait of 30 minutes PER person (if you're ordering for more than yourself forget it).

Yelp
Always fun. Loved their Boysenberry mudslide. So much awesome food to choose from. The rides are fun and a great ambiance.

Manda O.

Yelp
Ran in on a busy Saturday afternoon to grab a pie for a birthday dessert/treat for a family member. Even though it was busy, I was able to order within a minute of walking in. Pie was perfection and their other baked goods looked great too. Only downside is the parking situation... I recommend having someone drop you off and wait in the parking lot/drive around, and then pick you up.

Karen K.

Yelp
We got the Boysenberry cookie which barely tasted of boysenberry. Next time, we might try something like the boysenberry tart or boysenberry pie, instead. Prices were fairy reasonable for a theme park bakery.

Jessica C.

Yelp
I've ordered cakes form here quite a few times and loved them. There pastries are awesome too. If your at Knott's and need something sweet this is the place. Large selection.

Brandi P.

Yelp
A great variety of goodies whether you are looking for something boysenberry or not. My favorite is of course the boysenberry turnover (they also have apple) and their jalepeno cheese bread. They have lots of holiday goodies now too, beautiful cakes and cupcakes. They also had a white chocolate peppermint blondie, have not tasted yet but if it is like their brookie, it will be delicious! Prices are average, a few items are good but a bit overpriced I think. One day I will order a cake, they look really good. When you visit you need to grab some sweets and treats to take home with you. It is right next to Mrs. Knott's Chicken to Go. They also serve soda's, coffee, and of course boysenberry punch to quench your thrust!

Alison W.

Yelp
Got two slices of pie - one apple and one boysenberry. Each slice was 4.50. A whole pie was $15. According to my friend who had been there pre-pandemic, used to be $13. Oh well. It was a pretty good pie. The price is a little steep for one slice though. The crust is very good - buttery and flakey. I found both pie fillings a little too sweet for me. I don't think I've had boysenberry pie before and I did enjoy it - it's a good fruit pie.

CJ E.

Yelp
Went there to buy a Black Forest Cake which is pictured front and center in their on-line advertising. Staff tried to sell me a cake that was not a Black Forest cake but instead had a chocolate topping, claiming that was their chef's version of a Black Forest cake. Asked the manager to cont me with an update about whether a true Black Forest cake (as pictured on their website) would eventually be available, but never heard back from him. Very disappointing! I've been going there since I was a child and this is so sad.

Roberta W.

Yelp
Confused! While the cakes in the case are beautiful. Be prepared for a terrible disappointment when you take your first bite. The frosting is the worst I have ever tasted. Has an off taste, not good at all, ruins the cake. Don't understand how people buy this stuff. The cake frosting from the grocery store is 100% better, and that's pretty sad. Couldn't eat it threw it away. Who are the people who taste this stuff before it's put in their bakery for sale. They used to have some excellent cakes when the Knott's Family owned it. Not anymore.

Stella S.

Yelp
Bakery NEVER answered the phone. Tried placing a cake order and had a question. Terrible service.

Katie C.

Yelp
Delicious. Chocolate chip cookies are amazing. Definitely need to give this one a try.

Tammy R.

Yelp
Great especially the boysenberry tarts. Doesn't open before the park so just be ready for that but worth it.

Gaudy C.

Yelp
The service was fast and efficient. At the time I visited the lines were short and most products were available. The items I purchased were tasty and fresh. The service was great and pleasant. The Neapolitan cake was tasty, moist, sweet and spongy. I will be going back and hoping for the great service. The way you speak and approach staff is also a reflection of the service. Treat people with kindness and respect and you will receive it back in the service.

Jennifer N.

Yelp
We love the Knott's Bakery. We buy the Boysenberry seasonal items here during the festival and love the asiago cheese bread. They slice the loaf for you per your request. Free 1 hr. Parking and during the pandemic it's free parking.

Lisa L.

Yelp
This review is for a cake we ordered. It was an overall horrible experience and a horrible cake! The cake was ordered 3 days in advance and paid for that day. When we went to pick it up the cake wasnt even baked! The girl behind the counter was suprised we had already paid for it and that they didnt have it ready for pick up. We had to wait for them to bake and decorate the cake and since it was a rush job the cake was still warm so the frosting was melting and the cake shifted. We fixed the cake when we got home and proceeded with the bday celebration. After all that nonsense you would think the cake would at least be good since it was "freshly" baked...well nope! The cake was dry and the filling tasted like they opened a jar of jam and threw that in the middle. Nobody liked the cake and only had 1 bite. Now I have a quarter sheet cake I need to throw away.

Yelp
Knott's Farm bakery located entrance of Knott's Berry Farm really awesome fresh bake goods cookies cakes pies each or by the slice really yummy really delicious Knotts Berry Farm bakery here been here for years always delicious always great people are nice there's like a one hour parking across the street so if you wanted to just come in park get you some fresh bakery and then go home it's free give them a try very yummy very delicious staff is good place in Location I save what does get packed so best to get there early get fresh kids head out

Greg E.

Yelp
Amazing!!! The pastries are very delicious and parking/getting to the bakery is fairly simple despite it's location.

Tiffany V.

Yelp
I got the pecan sticky bun. It was not too expensive at ~7 for a large bun. Make sure to ask them to heat up stuff for you since most of the items taste better warm. This was very average. I like that it a had a great amount of pecans that were good. The bun itself though was dense and tasted like a dry cinnamon roll. It was okay to try once, but I would not get this again.

Tamara B.

Yelp
The lady who placed my custom order was very kind and helpful. When I picked up the associate Danielle helped me, she was wonderful! It was a cake for my mother in law. I will gladly purchase cakes here from now on. You can pick the flavors and design for same price as the store already made ones!

Corinne Q.

Yelp
Ordered a lemon Birthday cake a week ahead of time. It was lop sided one side 1 inch higher on one side, at least 1 inch of frosting on top to compensate with swirles instead of roses. Swirles down the side as well. This was done to cover up the lop sided cake. There was no lemon flavor at all. No lemon filling at all, looked like some kid made it. I called to complain after taking it to a party and found out how horrible it was. I called to complain and never got a phone call back or when I did someone was going to relay the call. Never happened. Don't waste your time, they don't care, there is always another sucker to buy a crappy cake.

Alison C.

Yelp
The boysenberry pie is absolutely amazing. The crust is perfect and flakey, and the filling isn't too sweet. It's a perfect pie. I brought one of their pies up to Northern California to share with my family and everyone loved it. If you are visiting Knott's Berry Farm, make sure you stop at the bakery and get some pie!

Caroline P.

Yelp
So happy Knotts thought of Fall O ween for grown ups and kids this year. 2020 has been a downer and to think there was no trick or treating or events for toddlers, that was even more disappointing. My family and my husband's sisters family decided to come here the first Saturday after opening. It was a very nice experience. No crazy Disney crowds. Parking was free. The food sizes were reasonable considering it is from a theme park and everything was pretty good. Lots of hand sanitizing stations, fun trick or treat trail for the kids (which reminded me of Disney's Mickey trick or treat party) and everyone compliant with mask wearing. Lots of different picnic areas to enjoy your food and drinks. The kids and grownups had a great time.

Victoria L.

Yelp
I can thank Knotts for getting hooked on boysenberries. I enjoy their turnovers and pies. They are fresh and delicious, even with everything going on right now. The customer service is always good too.

Ann S.

Yelp
Great pie. Make sure to get there early or call ahead. As always a great selection of other bakes goodies!

X X.

Yelp
Last week we purchase the oreal cookie the cake was too too too sweet and quality was subpar and for the price $38 it was too too expensive

Amber J.

Yelp
I tried calling the bakery all morning and it just goes to a general information phone number no one ever answers it. I wanted to see if they have any boysenberry pies left since it's the day before Thanksgiving. They make you spend at least $45 in the bakery in order to get a pie so I had to buy three pies to get one Boysenberry pie. I will not be coming back next year!!!

Stephanie E.

Yelp
I don't know if their phone is broken or if they purposefully don't answer. Every time I call NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE! So I had to go out of my way to drive there hoping that what I wanted was there. Very inconvenient. Also, for some reason Yelp says they close at 6. NOT true. They close roughly around the same time the park closes.

Briea M.

Yelp
I love knotts bakery and have been going here for years for my birthday cakes, my friends cakes, and my nieces and nephews. I've never had a bad experience or even an unusual one but a few days I went to pick up a bday cake and was "greeted" by Cristal, but I wouldn't have called it a "greeting." She was busy and looked distracted but managed to look up when I walked in and she said "hi" so I said hi back and just told her I was here to pick up a cake, she then asked "do you have your receipt?" I told her I did and handed it to her and she went to the back to look for it. She was gone for a while and came back out with a cake and as I was walking towards her she was like "this isn't for you" she was assisting someone before me before I came in so I just stepped back and waited for mine. The point is when you're assisting anyone it doesn't hurt to ask "how are you" "how's your day" instead she just asked me if I had my receipt and to avoid the confusion she could've told me "I'm gonna go grab someone else's cake first and then I'll come back and assist you" just simple things, simple communication, and just a brush of customer service would've left a better impression. When going in I felt like a customer, by the time I left I felt like an inconvenience.

Keven W.

Yelp
If you love sugar this place is for you. They have a selection of donuts, cupcakes and cakes here or anything sweet. They also have a candy store too I tend to get something here before I head to the park like a snoopy cupcake, cookie, boysenberry cake and much more. Selection is pretty good, but it can have a lot of sugar in these as well. Remember to use your season pass as it is 20% off. They open at 9am or 1 hour before the park opens.

SANDRA C.

Yelp
We bought the double chocolate cookie, florentine and chocolate dipped elephant ear. Oh boy! They're all delicious.

Gil T.

Yelp
Decided to take family. What a mistake!!! Go on only two kid rides. All the time we had due to lines. Also had issues with the game cards. Loaded the wrong amount I was charged. Waited for attendant. After all the hassle I got a new card but it also had wrong amount but now attendant was gone and I was too tired to deal with it. Had trouble even getting soft drinks. Bought the "free refill" cup but that had issues getting a refill as well when scanned. So incredibly pissed. Everything about coming here sucked!!!!
