Absolutely incredible experience. The groups are small which make the tour very enjoyable. The guide I had was very personable, knowledge and you could really tell she has true passion for this place. I feel terrible I forgot her name or I would absolutely mention it.

Hard to believe that the site has been used since 3000 BC. This is well worth a journey to see. A guided tour is the only way to see Knowth. There are no self-guided tours.

We did Newgrange and Knowth. Definitely cool but I much preferred the stone circles. They seemed more natural/untouched. These sites are extensively rebuilt - which is great to save what we can. They just didnt give any vibes at all. Maybe too many people. Sept 9, 2024. I missed Broadleas and Athgreany to see this and its one of my biggest regrets. 2nd trip we did Broadleas but Athgreany is closed indefinitely.

Highly recommend. We had an amazing tour guide (Uisce), got to see gorgeous pieces of history and some great views of the surrounding area from the top of the mound

This is absolutely a fascinating site. Not only for the major mound itself but for the smaller mounds around it. Combine that with the stone carvings and the mini passages and such, there is a lot to see at this site aside from what is obviously shown to you. I squeezed my way through one of the small passages just for giggles and that was cool!
