Beautiful spot to go and explore! Just make sure you’re being safe near the water, lots of green algae on the rocks.
Edit: Just visited the dam again today and was shocked to see it gated up with a lock!! Very unwelcoming, we weren’t even sure if we could go in until another couple walked around the gates! Some sort of signage to let people know if they’re welcomed or not would be helpful. We drove from Summerside to visit and were very disappointed by this. Glad someone else came while we sitting in the parking lot, because we were about to turn around.

Knox's Dam doesn't really have an address for it. The entrance is hidden. The entrance is beside a red house. It's a dirt road that goes through some trees.
The dam is small. The river is on the left and the dam is spread out. The river continues to flow to the right, down a fall that seems to be man made.
There's a pathway that lets you take a boat, small boat, canoe or kayak onto the river. You can go fishing there too it seems. We saw a guy on a small motorized boat in the river.
You can take some pretty nice photos of the river here with the dam.

Awesome little dam, that created a waterfall and rapids , and has a nice fish ladder .. very quiet and relaxing stop, a big off the main road... But on a flat island , not many waterfalls to be seen....

Very cool place.
The damn is very open for viewers to see the water flowing. The area has some parking. It's a fairly small damn but it's neat.
Worth a stop by!

A beautiful quiet place to stop and have a picnic or enjoy the scenery. There is a plaque where you can read about the historical significance of the dam. If you’re needed to cool off, it’s a good place to have a nice dip. The locals like to fish here as well.

A beautiful spot to visit! Smaller then what I expected but still nice & relaxing. There are benches to sit on & a little trail to get lower In to the falls. We enjoyed the hour we spent there!
