Steak was good, but the Lobster soup was awful. Super bitter and very little lobster. Non-alcoholic beer option was limited.

This hotel was the second best deal in the area. Looked good from the pictures. We arrived, the area is stunning! We got the cutest cabin made entirely of logs, with easy checkin. The reception was super helpful, one lady even gave me 2 of her cigarettes when I ran out at the end of the night! || ||We got a great deal at the end, where 8 breakfasts cost only £18 more then just the rooms. Comfy beds and pillows, small kitchen, warm cabin! ||||Very very happy with our stay!

From the very beginning we had a great experience. The place and setting was very romantic and an excellent location for our Valentines day. From outside the restaurant looked great and inviting. As soon as we entered the staff was very tentative and we were immediately felt welcome and cared for. The attention and the level of service was among the best that I have experienced and for that alone I could give the place five stars. At no point the entire evening did we feel we had to wait for a waiter or service - superb! We had a five course meal, which were all really delicious and expertly prepared and presented in a timely fashion. Along with the courses we got a wine menu, which had been given a great deal of thought too and made the whole experience even better. The setting of the restaurant was neat and well fitting to the architecture of the building. Everything just fit together in a great combination. I would love to come here again and we will for sure be back.

We spent 2 nights at the Knud Hule Badehotel at the end of June. It was an ideal location to relax as well as use as a base for visiting local attractions which included: Museum Jorn, Himmelbjerget and the small town of Ry. On the first evening we had ordered a 4 course gourmet meal which was excellent. All the hotel staff we met were friendly and extremely helpful. The room was large and comfortable. There was an excellent 12 hole mini golf course located in the gardens which include a large fish pond. We played a couple of very enjoyable rounds. Across the road there is a large lake with wonderful sunsets in the evening which can be viewed from the restaurant veranda. All in all a truly wonderful and relaxing experience.

Before anyone says anything. Yes the health policies were in place for all the guest. (Thank You Knudhule Badehotel).||||It was my stepmother's birthday ( I don't know if she had this planned before the pandemic), but it was a very good choose.||It was a long brunch party. Tables were set apart which was good, as I didn't know everyone there.||Champagne was served as we entered ( pity I don't drink) but I took it. Then after tasting, my husband asked if there was any soft drinks.||The birthday "girl" made her speaks and after, table by table we went to the assortment of food laid out. First course. (sorry no photos here). Was told if you didn't want coffee, then you can ask for tea. There were a good selection of them. I had the green tea. Now I thought I would just get a tea bag, but OH NO!!. After a long wait, I got a tea pot of hot green tea...ALL TO MYSELF WOOT!! (Thank You, I loved it)||||Then we had a break to go out and look around the grounds. Doing that my husband said, do you want to spend two nights here...yes please...||||We came back in , and the next course was being placed out.||And WOW (I took photos).||||We spend six hours here, it was relaxing. The wait staff were great (Thank You again)||Would we go again...ummm YES. Pity their were booked until end of August.

A great location opposite a beautiful lake with lovely swimming area. Extremely helpful staff. We stayed in a cottage which was very pleasant and well furnished with some lovely touches. A little small but fine for 2 nights. The cottage had a patio with seating but this was a bit uncomfortable and not ideal for sitting out. We didn't try the restaurant as it was quite high-end and not best suited to children, but the menu looked great if you like fish!

We stayed here for a wedding and everything was spot on. Beautiful food, excellent service and the cabins were very comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was a great selection of hot and cold food with everything as fresh as you could ask.

This former youth hostel has retained much charm and informality while elevating the service, comfort and surroundings to those of a four star hotel. ||The rooms vary appropriately according to need and price. We had a cottage for two of us. While our grown children could have been accommodated on the sofa bed in the lounge we appreciated the freedom and space afforded us as they slept in a double room in the main building.||Everything was in good condition, well kept and with manicured gardens immediately opposite the lake. Swimming and walks on tap when needing to make space for delicious food!||Breakfasts of a very high standard: bacon, eggs, yoghurt, fresh fruit, cheeses, cold meets and garnishes, juices, wonderful bread and rolls and Danish pastries. Enough to keep us going all day!||Dinner to die for! Real gourmet fare in delightful surroundings and high quality service with a smile and a sense of humour!||We experienced a private party as well and found everything about it to be outstanding!
