Koa Resort

I love the Koa Resort because it provides a peaceful, beautiful and family friendly atmosphere. Kelly, the property manager for immediately puts you at ease and is super knowledgeable about Maui. If you are tired of the busy and sometimes frenetic vibe of the Kihei condos closer to the 3 Kamaloe beaches down the road, come to the Koa resort, there are beaches across street too, but their pool is a show stopper...it's truly paradise. ,e

Great VRBO spot. Awesome pool with a 2ft shallow end for the kiddos. Large BBQ grilling area with tables. Good location in Kihei across the street from the beach.

Great amenities at this resort with pool, spa, pickleball/tennis court, 3 grills, ping pong, foosball and more. Will definitely return.

Perfect place in Kihei for a larger family with children. The 4 bedrooms and 3 bathroom condo meet our needs very well. Having the Suburban to use was an added bonus. The beach across the street was a great place for a morning walk.

Each of the condos is individually owned so they may have different pros and cons. This review is for 2A, which is billed as 4 bedroom (really has 3 bedrooms and a loft with beds and no door). The rule about removing shoes is nonsensical as the flooring is tile which is really hard on plantar fasciitis. There is a huge fire hazard behind the main TV where a short power strip is stretched to the max and simply hanging in the air, stretched between the wall outlet and the devices it powers. The drying rack in the sink had mold on the bottom of it, so the cleaning crew doesn't take it out and clean the bottom. A few other issues like that, but overall it was a nice place to stay for a week and we did really enjoy it. It was really handy to have a washer and dryer. Location is good and it is a quick walk to a nearby beach.

We enjoyed our stay at Koa Resort. The room was spacious and comfortable. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and shuffleboard. The only issue was the windows in our room didn't close properly and that meant lots of outside noise, mostly from feral chickens, but also from a few noisy guests, was louder than we liked.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Koa Condos in Kihei, Maui, and it was an absolutely incredible experience. The location is unbeatable. You're steps away from stunning beaches on the island, and the sunsets are out of this world. The condo itself was a home away from home. It was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals and enjoy them on the lanai with a view. I can't say enough about the lush, well-maintained grounds and the pool area. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring the island. It's the perfect place for a relaxing and unforgettable Maui vacation. I can't wait to return!

Most beautiful pool I've ever been in. If you love pools and travel with children they will love it. Stairs to get in and out easily, beautiful tiles, goes from 2 feet to 9 feet, and lots of room to swim. Hot tub, too. Grills, tennis courts, shuffle boards, ping pong table, and everything is well maintained and beautiful.

We stayed here on Wednesday April 16 and Selma checked us in. She was very kind and funny. Always smiling and very accommodating. We received this stay as an Anniversary present from our sister in law and her companion. Our king suite was beautiful. We went to the Hana Ranch restaurant for a drink before ending the night. The next day we ate breakfast at the resort. The resort was absolutely beautiful and relaxing. Everybody at the resort was outgoing. We have to come back some day

Wish I can give it a MINUS ZERO star !. Worst stay every !. We rented unit 1H from elevaterentals maui When we arrived after dark, the place was pitch black, no lights at all, was very difficult to find this unit. Finally after half an hour and help from other guest, found out that this unit was the LAST unit on the property , a good 500+ feet away from the parking lot. It was pitch black and we had to carry all the luggage up the stairs after dragging it from the parking lot. Once inside the unit, found it was filthy, the dishes and all utensils were never washed, there was dog poop on the floor, showers were never cleaned. Contacted Angela Goddard ( Owner ) and was told this : " I almost didn't reply to your comments because it's so ridiculous. The picture of the dog poop on the floor is not even my floor. I have pictures of my floor. You are ridiculous and I would never run to you again ever in my entire life! " " Do not contact me further. Angela Goddard Fri, Apr 5 " . Wow what a host !. How about a simple apology !? I have stayed all over the world and by far this was THE WORST stay ever, ruined our whole trip to Maui. BEWARE !

Located off S. Kihei Road, Koa Resort is an older condo community, but well maintained and quiet. We rented a 2-bedroom 1-bath ground unit which was close to the swimming pool and jacuzzi. It was curiously quiet, tho there were families with young children renting around us. Nice surprise! The condo is completely outfitted and we were comfortable staying there and lacked nothing except an ironing board. The unit itself was dark due to the dark wood paneling but it was clean and safe. There was even parking for our rent-a-car.

We just got home from 2 weeks in Maui and Im ready to go back. This was a great quiet spot. Amazing pool!! Clean! My kids were in it everyday. We rented a ground unit and it was the best. The BBQ grills were easy to use and close to all units. The tennis courts were fun! I love that they had a cart for when you had way too much to carry. I thought the hose they offered out front was nice that way you didn't have to bring the sand back to your condo. If we come back to Maui we will stay here again!

My family vacations at least once a year at this resort and unit. The owners are fantastic and the property is always immaculate. It's location to the grocery stores and beaches is wonderful!! Don't wait it books up fast! Aloha!

I just had my third vacation at this stunningly beautiful condo unit in Kihei. The condo has everything you'd ever want, and its location is ideal. It truly feels like a home away from home, which is why I'll spend my fourth vacation there! The owners are ultra-responsive, attentive, and know Hawaii from the inside out. Don't look further - book now!

I've stayed at this resort on multiple occasions. It is centrally located to beaches, shopping and some super finds in local dining. The owners of this unit keep an immaculate house - the rooms are comfortable and the lanai is an outstanding area to have that cup of morning coffee or evening adult beverage. The smooth songs of island birds always provide me with serious relaxation. The last time I tried to book the unit, it was full-up during my limited time frame. Apparently, this condo has repeat business due to the amenities and location.

This place had promise. Kept up condo, great DEEP pool, but....horrible management that let its tenants party like its spring break and not do anything about. Never got any sleep due to the crazy and noisy people allowed to do as they please. Short of calling the police we tried everything with no answer or help from management. So...if you like loud obnoxious people til 230am or later, this place is for you.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. Room was really dirty sheets smelt terrible. Bathroom was nasty. They were very rude to us do not stay! Waste of money

My family and I have stayed at this beautiful property for two years in a row (and hoping for a third!). The condo is spotless and comfortable, with more amenities than many homes--a fully-stocked kitchen, newly remodeled bathrooms, three big bedrooms and an AMAZING lanai (balcony) with a view that could melt any stress away. The grounds are fantastic--the pool is the best in Maui (just ask my kids), and there is ping pong, tennis courts, shuffleboard, grills, and a huge amount of green space. The property is in a perfect location--close to everything--beaches, upcountry, and anything in between. The best thing, without a doubt, is the owners. They were informative, responsive, and kind beyond measure--which is why we will never stay anywhere else in Maui.

It's is a very nice rental and the pictures are exactly what you get with the room. I stayed here with my girlfriends family for a week and it was rather enjoyable. It is just a short walk from the beach and the pool is amazing. However there was some issues we had with the room. First off there is no ac unit in the house, just two portable "swamp coolers" and they don't get the job done. Second our screen door wouldn't lock. This was a problem because we wanted to leave it open at night to allow the cool air to come in and cool down the rental. However the lock didn't seem to line up with the frame and was impossible to lock. One night we decided that we've had enough, and it's just too hot, so we mustered all of our strength and forced it into a locked position. The next day we awoke at 5am for an excursion that left at 6am. We were all ready and set to leave when we tried to open the door only to find the lock was now stuck. So we were stuck inside our rental with no other way out. After 30 minutes of trying to force it open we had to break down the door. Not only did this make us late to our excursion, it posed a sever fire hazard. If you book here you will enjoy it, however check the little things and make sure you can live comfortably for your stay.
