Koala Court Holiday Apartments

We stayed at Koala Court Holiday Apartments for a few days and it was great to feel a little bit like home when traveling. The apartment is very spacious and has a comfortable living room as well. Few things that bothered us though. The apartment was not properly cleaned, with quite some dirt in the corners. The bed was on wheels and moved a lot while on it, and it was not possible to lock those wheels. So you could not sit in the bed as well without the bed that moved because of the wheels. We knew before that the location was not right at the city center, but it was in the end more far than we thought. In general not a bad place to stay, great value for money. But the lack of cleanliness was quite disturbing.

Thanks Koala Court for being a great home away from home during our jaunt around Cairns. We had everything we needed and more for our 10 day visit. Clean. Spacious. Refreshing pool after a day out. Clothes Dryer. Washing machine. Secure car parking. BBQ area. Friendly but not intrusive staff. What more could we want.

This place is a quaint, unique property run by husband and wife. It's simple, clean, and has everything you should need to cook, sleep, and relax. Short walk to Esplanade and 25 min walk to the heart of town. The balcony was nice for morning coffee. Unit 5 was great. I would stay again if traveling back to Cairns.

The hotel was spotless, the atmosphere welcoming, and the service impeccable. I would like to mention that my stay was outstanding, thanks to John. From the moment I arrived, he handled everything with professionalism, warmth, and great attention to detail. His dedication made my experience seamless and truly enjoyable.

We had an amazing stay at Koala Court Holiday Apartments! The space was comfortable and well-maintained, providing everything we needed for a relaxing time. A special mention goes to John and the lady at the reception – their kindness and professionalism were exceptional. They helped us with every detail and made us feel truly welcome. We felt at home and incredibly well accommodated. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great stay in Cairns!

Perfect location for exploring the Coral coast and rain forest. Fantastic host who even helped with a booking made from the UK on the scenic railway. Nothing was too much trouble to make our stay at the Koala Court a thoroughly memorable holiday.

Absolutely amazing experience in Koala court apartment…I stayed with my partner and friend couple. There were two bed rooms, shared kitchen with fully equipped, and shared both room. We were happy with the cleanliness. Kitchen has everything we needed. The fridge, microwave, even oven, and all small items. The location is not as convenient as the hotels by the beach, but we really enjoyed walking to the city every morning. 20-30 minutes by walk, 5-8 minutes to Airport by Uber. The hosts are beautiful people. We felt so welcomed. Thank you so much and we definitely will come again.

I visited in July of 2011 and had a great time. The owners are genuinely nice people who will help you with their knowledge of the area. The apartments were clean and large. Ours was a 2 bedroom, one bath with full kitchen and washer/dryer.There is also a small pool on the property but we didn't have time to use it. If I had any complaint it would be that the one air conditioner in the large bedroom was a bit too loud. The Koala Court is within walking distance of the Esplanade, but it's a good 20 minute walk. I would recommend walking down, then taking a cab back. If I ever make it back to Cairns, I won't hesitate to stay there again.
