The best KBBQ place if you want to feel welcomed, this restraunt has won the hearts of our family and never seem to fail. My family loves this place but it was my first time - I was instantly amazed at how quality this place provided. Not only did the kids get cared for by (Whom I assume) the owner, but she seemed genuine and happy to see us. This owner is an Elderly lady, big maternal love radiated from her actions and she gave some snacks and toys to the kids. The assistance by the staff was top tier, they cooked for us on the KBBQ grill and it was quite value for money compared to other KBBQ places that might overcharge you for mediocre meats. Kudos to Kobi-Q, I hope you keep doing what you do! The service was excellent! Each table had a dedicated person grilling the meat. This was my first time in Australia eating melt-in-your-mouth beef! It was amazing, so fragrant! I was halfway through the broth when I realized it was loaded with seafood. The owner, who must be an elderly woman, was very welcoming! I'll definitely be back!

It’s been a while since we’ve had Korean BBQ THAT GOOD! The ox bone soup was definitely a highlight and the wagyu too. The owner is so friendly and very accommodating. Definitely will come back again!

The best Korean bbq we have had this year. The wagyu beef is everything we have expected with charcoal grill. It's next level. Every side dishes are delicious and I feel like not many Korean restaurants have good sides dishes anymore.

The food, and service, was incredible. The staff were all so attentive and kind, and grilled the meat for us as well which was much appreciated. The portions/banchan dishes were generous and delicious. We got the combo for 2 people and it was so filling! The meat was high quality. Highly recommend, amazing Korean BBQ.

I'd say everyone should try Kobi-Q as their first K-bbq experience. That means a lot because I've been to two dozen K-bbq restaurants in Melbourne alone. You really have an amazing experience at Kobi-Q from friendly, caring yet efficient staff to a homey vibe of the place. The boss lady is definitely a stand out with her warm smile and friendliness. The bbq set menu is budget friendly while providing delicious high quality meats. They also do the barbie the right way using charcoal. Veggo options are also available with the variety of bibim rice they have (or simply opt out for a Korean pancake). Last but not least, the hygiene standards at Kobi-Q are second to none, including their restroom. This, for me, is always a plus. Highly recommended!

Great Korean BBQ spot in Brunswick East. They use real charcoal, which makes a big difference and gives the meat that proper smoky flavour you don’t get from electric grills. The food quality was good, and the service was great. The staff cooked the meat for us, which I really appreciated. The older lady (who I assume is the owner) was incredibly warm and welcoming, even giving us a hug when we left. It made the experience feel very personal. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back.

Went here for the first time based on the reviews. Not disappointed Went for lunch. Greeted by a lovely lady who was really helpful. They even rushed the order as we were a little short on time. Food was fantastic. Reasonably priced and tasty. So good in fact I’m going back with my wife next week. Parking outside is a little tricky on street.
