Kobkunka Thai Restaurant Kingscliff

Good location on Marine Parade at Kingscliff. I enjoyed the flavours of the fried rice. Portion sizes are not big. I noticed that a lot of the tables had not been wiped down including ours. I asked the waitress to wipe down our table. That’s the only downfall. The staff were friendly and cheerful.

Absolutely ridiculous. Order “crispy pork” for $35 it came in a take away container filled with salad and a thin layer of dry pork on top. Absolute rubbish.

Worst Thai food I ever had. It's difficult to ruin the Thai food cos It's normally with special herbs and spices. But the pad thai here isn't even with a piece of lime or any lemon juice but with tomato sauce... It's not eatable...

Food was really nice but very small portions and meat is nearly non-existent. $20 plus rice for $5 makes for a very expensive meal that hardly fills one. No atmosphere at all unfortunately because it’s in a really nice spot across from the beach. One chef + one waiter were doing the best they could.

Very authentic gone thailand 6 times this is the best thai in australia I've found. Super friendly staff too! And amazing views of beach. No monday lunch :(

Worst Thai ever. Placed an order online. Said 50 minute wait. Went to collect food was given an order. Came home not our order. Tried to call so many times to let them know and no one answered. Drove back and was told they only received our order. Oh please. Had to wait another 30 mins. Food had no flavour. Satay with no satay sauce. Spring rolls no flavour. Pad Thai boring. Lack of meat. Very hard to find in all 3 dishes. There’s nothing good I could say about our experience and didn’t even offer us a refund or a free dish. Definitely don’t recommend

The worst Thai i have ever had. Bland, no flavour and there was no meat in the very small size dishes. Reading the other reviews from years ago it seems like this is a long term problem. The owner drives a very expensive Mercedes, he can do that because he overcharges and doesn't put any ingredients in the dishes. There are so many better Thai restaurants around, skip this one. Its amazing that it is still open given the other local Thai restaurants are so much better.
