The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, decorated with authentic artwork that feels like true masterpieces. Our room featured stunning carved wood details, from the door to the windows. The pool area was wonderful, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were very friendly and helpful!

This hotel was amazing! The staff were wonderful- I think that they were the most friendly and helpful that I had on my entire trip to Thailand. The grounds of this hotel are absolutely beautiful- lush and green. Breakfast every morning was delicious and offered a variety of Thai options, as well as some options for Western breakfast. The pool was great after a long day in the sun. The rooms were charming- and comfortable. There are also a variety of cats that roam the complex to greet you each morning and evening. The location of the hotel was perfect as well, situated in the middle of the Old City (only a block off from the great Sunday Night Market!) I would 100% stay here again.

Lovely place to stay. The staff are so attentive. Breakfast is lovely. Fresh fruit daily, cerials, egg station , multiple Asian dishes and the homemade cakes and biscuits are a great touch. Rooms are fresh and clean. Could do with a couple more sunbeds by the pool but there’s chairs and a hammock to chill in.

We loved this Hotel. The staff at reception was so friendly and helpful. Rooms were large and very comfortable with full amenities like tea and coffee making with water supplied everyday, shower caps and all that was needed for a comfortable stay with a safe in the room. There were two golden bath robes and two pairs of golden slippers for us to use. The garden was beautiful with a two level swimming pool.

Location is so convenient for good food and drinks. Chiang Mai Gate night market only 5 mins. away. Saturday's night market only take 10-15mins. walk. Service is much more than you pay for, 15 out of 10. Room. Full of local character from door to windows. Good AC, spotless, comfortable bed, cats companion, can't ask for anymore. Really peaceful place to stay.

We recently stayed at this hotel and were completely disappointed. In fact, we left early despite losing money because he couldn't bear to sleep in these terrible beds. The pillows and completely compressed and lifeless, and the mattress was hard as a rock. Our toilet ran constantly and failed to properly flush. The shower had a scalding hot pipe exposed that I burned my arm on. There were dead cockroaches in our closet. The pool had noticeable green algae buildup in the corners and was not clean. Pros: the staff were incredibly friendly and tried to be accommodating by offering us another room however we felt too uncomfortable and grossed out to stay. The location is great but this did not outweigh the cons. I wanted this stay to be the highlight of our trip and it sadly ended up being a nightmare. I would AVOID staying here and would not recommend it.

There are plenty of food, convenience stores and massage shops within a couple of minutes walk from this hotel. Chiang Mai Gate is very near too. I had to put up with ants and flying insects in the room due to the extensive growing of plants and trees all around the hotel grounds. The room felt cramped. There was no space for a writing table and a single sofa. I had a good mattress, strong hot shower. No electronic door lock to my room. Instead, a padlock is used.

The hotel has some lovely details with a pool and lovely garden. The rooms are a bit dated but spacious and quiet. Overall I really enjoyed my stay.
