Kofárna Újezd

The best coffee I’ve had in Prague at Kofárna Újezd! I can’t remember the cake’s name, but it was absolutely delicious. Cozy, peaceful vibes—perfect for relaxing.

Very cozy and quiet cafe with very kind staff. Pass by if you want a warm tea or delicious coffee. The place is also dog friendly 🙂

Nice café in the center a little bit aside from the rush. Customers are both local people and foreigners, friedly atmosphere. Coffee and cakes are excellent

A cozy café that opens at 7:30 AM, perfect for early meetings or a quick coffee to go. They offer both desserts and full menu. One room has chalkboard walls, adding an interactive touch—you can draw something and bring a bit of creativity into your visit.

Are you supposed to tip for a quick takeaway cappuccino? I walked in to order a coffee and interrupted the two baristas chatting with perhaps an off duty staff member, or someone they both knew. It seems that I interrupted that chat to place my order. When processing payment, I was requested by the payment terminal to select a tip amount in another language to mine. Once I selected no tip, the barista’s looked annoyed. My coffee, that I had requested to be extra hot, was served to me about 45 seconds later barely lukewarm. The vibe in the cafe was nice and quiet, but the service and coffee were disappointing to say the least. I was charged 85CZK for my transgressions.

Cool, cozy place. Close to the center but it’s calm and quiet. Very good coffee, it’s worth drinking at the cafe and buying beans (Beansmith’s) for home, for the espresso and filter. The tea is also tasty. I didn't eat the cakes but the snacks (burrito and sandwich with goat cheese and beet) were ok. Not expensive, prices are right. The staff speaks English and is friendly. I recommend

Excellent specialty coffee with great taste, I am sure everyone will like it. Nice homemade cakes and cookies. Might be a problem to find a free table, but we normally just take the coffee out while walking by.
