KOFFIE bij Joost en Maartje

I went to Koffie on my first day in Maastricht because I needed a place to sit and work. I tried the matcha, it was delicious! And perfect temperature! And the cinnamon roll was incredibly good. I liked it so much that I went back the next day for another matcha, this time planning to relax with my Kindle and read for a while. I really love how the place is set up. There’s a bar where you can sit with your laptop, shared tables, and super comfortable armchairs where you can hang out with friends or even share the space with strangers (which is exactly what happened to me). I also like how the service works, simple and smooth. You order and pay at the counter, and then they bring your coffee and food to your table if it needs to be prepared. Bakery items you can grab right away. It’s a really pleasant space to work, read, or just enjoy a good cup of coffee. I left wanting to try the almond croissant!! it was sold out both times I went back, even after visiting twice more! Definitely need to try it on my next visit.

I really enjoyed the cake and delicious coffee. The interior design is simple but superb. And the overall atmosphere and vibes are all about positivity, we loved it.

KOFFIE is a great place to sit down for a drink with friends or to grab a coffee to go. The coffee is strong, yet has a lovely earthy taste that’s best enjoyed with regular or plant-based milk. It’s also excellent as an iced option on a hot summer day. We also tried the carrot cake, which was exceptional — moist and flavourful, with warm cinnamon notes. The citrusy buttercream on top is creamy and rich in flavour, and it pairs well with the chopped walnuts, which add a nice crunch and texture. The staff are extremely friendly, and the atmosphere inside the café is pleasant. They even have dedicated laptop spaces with plugs for studying or work. It may get a bit noisy at times, but most people there don’t seem to mind.

One of the best coffee shops in town! Super cozy, great coffee, and mouthwatering desserts. The place may look like a coffee shop, but it’s much more. It’s a place to sip great coffee, enjoy delicious cakes, eat, and work (available separate stations for laptops).. staff were super friendly and helpful! Also a the restaurant and toilets were very clean. I have saved the place and will definitely visit KOFFIE next time I visit Maastricht. Great work KOFFIE bij Joost en Maartje! Until next time

A nice place with plenty of seating and decent coffee. Did not try the food (yet). It can get busy, but it's luckily not too loud. The staff are nice and attentive.

A nice place to enjoy an excellent coffee and pastry’s. Very friendly staff and quite big, busy and in the back plenty people working on laptops. No laptops in the front.

Loved it! The coffee was excellent, and the setup was perfect—workstations in the back for focus and quiet, and tables in the front to enjoy time with company. Despite the place being crowded, the service was impressively fast. Highly recommended!

Amazing caffe, the food is delicious. There are dedicated working spots to study as well as space for all visitors. Very friendly staff that make the experience so much more enjoyable.

Looks to be a great study spot, many people have their laptops out towards the back of the store and it is quite spacious. There are menus at the tables and you walk up to the counter to order your drinks, then they place it at your table for you. I had the croissant and the latte, it was amazing! Definitely one of the best iced coffees I've had in Maastricht, and well decorated as well. They also have stamp cards where 10 drinks will get you one free one!

Lady in purple shirt and other employees extremely rude. Coffee is gross. Would not recommend what so ever.

I don't leave the house a lot these days, so before going insane, I decided to not go right back to my desk after class, but get some reading done with a good cup of coffee. And Koffie delivers! This place is super welcoming and cozy, there is plenty of seating and in the back you can pull out your laptop and get some work done (laptop-free zone in the front, as I was made aware), including plenty of power outlets. You can easily spend the entire day here. The coffee is great and a much needed break from what I have at home, and they offer plant-based milk as well (soy and oat). A cappuccino comes in at 2.75€ with an additional 0.30€ for the oat milk, which makes it a bit more expensive than elsewhere, but it's worth it. I'm definitely going to bring some friends and more books here, if I need a change of scenery. They have some food as well, including breakfast and lunch options, as well as some pastries. Had a delicious croissant to start off my day, and couldn't have asked for more. Service easily switches to English for non-Dutch speakers like me and is super friendly. I feel right at home here!

I could live here. First off, it's open at 8am when nothing else in Maastricht is. Second, fresh baked croissants when I walk in the door at 8. Third, apelstroop and old cheese toast. Fourth, all the baristas are attentive and professional and super friendly.

Absolutely love the atmosphere ! The coffee and service is always great. Best place to work/study or just have a nice coffee. The banana bread with yogurt is literally mouth watering! Highly recommend this gem

One of my top two or three favorite coffee shops in Maastricht. Two long tables for studying and a lot of tables specifically for people who just want to talk. Latte and latte macchiato are both great, as is the carrot cake. Highly recommend for anyone! Friendly staff too.

Great vibe! So modern and the staff is really friendly! I always go here for their granola! No matter what time of day it is, I'll order it! So delicious and the yoghurt to granola ratio is perfect Their coffees are always hot and tasty, their hot Chocolate is really good, they use real dark chocolate chips I think so when you get it you have to stir it in and melt it together with the milk! Super delicious and interactive They are a bit pricey but you're paying for quality stuff! I've had their soup before aswell! It's Full of flavour and one of a kind
