Such a good place with good Italian cuisine and perfect bar In fact, the place did not fully live up to my expectations. In terms of food, everything was great, tasty and quickly prepared. We were served bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar as soon as we walked in The interior is decent, although the main part of the restaurant is closed for reconstruction. However, in terms of service, I was disappointed. The steak was served without sauce, although the menu offers sauce options to choose from, when ordering, the waiter specified preferences for the side dish, but apparently forgot to ask about the sauce, which was later excluded from the bill. Then we had to wait to ask for the bill and in the end we did not wait. Even when I tried to call out to the waiter, no one answered. And the cherry on the cake was the bill in which the cocktail was broken down into its components, since they don’t have this cocktail in the system as a whole I hope this was an isolated incident, since the first time I visited this restaurant the service was excellent

Super delicious, definitely on the pricier side but in the centre. Italian cousins kind of delicious wine, wild and yummy selection on the food menu. Italian focaccia, Parmesan, steak, salads, pizza, pasta… but also Czech soups. need to come back to try more.

We ordered 2 starters and 1 main dish. The caprese burrata tastes fresh and the greens aren't wilted. Next we had a warm starter of seafood in a tomato sauce cooked with wine, all the seafood was cooked very nicely, especially the octopus. Lastly we had a steak with foie gras and roasted potatoes which was cooked to our desired doneness and tastes great overall. Service was excellent, our server was very attentive, friendly, and hospitable.

I recently visited this charming and sophisticated restaurant for dinner once again, and I must say, the experience was fantastic as always. I started with a delightful tomato soup, followed by a delicious seafood salad, and my main course was the exquisite black risotto. The food was exceptional, as expected, and the service was impeccable. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try if you find yourself in the center of Prague.

A restaurant that manages to adequately hide from the vicious tribe of tourists. Well set, with a good clientele (lots of families at lunchtime). Service as deserved, my carbonara was good, though a bit salty. Prices were great, better than a dodgy touristy burger joint elsewhere in the city.

The restaurant itself is beautiful, and the majority of the staff were quite pleasant, contributing to a generally lovely dining experience. The food was enjoyable and met our expectations. However, it's worth noting that the initial interaction with the hostess at the entrance was not as welcoming as anticipated, which slightly marred the overall ambiance. Despite this, the restaurant still offers a good culinary experience.

Food is perfect. The service is excellent! I made mistake while choosing the dish (I wanted to order Sicilian shrimps but ordered Sicilian scampi. The personnel was very polite and did their best to make me happy by providing me with the compliment. Thank you for your service and food! By the way, both dishes (Sicilian scampi and Sicilian shrimps) are very tasty! And hot dishes are perfect! Oysters are fresh as always. Thank you!

Been there twice and it was delicious. Amazing Italian food. Like in Italy. Will come back next time I'm in Prague.

The only way that I can describe the meal I had on May 6, 2024 was memorable. I entered the restaurant expecting a good Italian meal, which is what I was promised by our tour advisor. What I found instead was one of the best meals I've ever had. After being promptly seated by a gracious host, we chose among a delightful assortment of Italian wines. My first course consisted of a buffalo mozzarella salad. One taste of the buffalo mozzarella proved me that I never truly had Italian buffalo mozzarella before. The cheese was smooth, tender, and amazingly flavorful. The tomatoes were better than anything I could've possibly expected in early May. I found out from our server that all of these ingredients were sent directly from Italy. The salad was large and was easily shared by two. I had ordered a grilled fillet with mushroom sauce, accompanied by fresh spinach. When I received was a work of art. My steak virtually melted in my mouth. I asked to have my steak cooked medium, rare, and, miracle of miracles, that's how it was cooked. Even in the best of restaurants, I find that happens only a small fraction of the time. The meat was incredibly flavorful and required almost no chewing. The taste was unbelievable. I would put the quality of this steak up with those I have consumed at Prime in Park City, Utah and Barclay Prime in Philadelphia. I am not sure the English language contains words to give it more praise than just that. My wife had branzino with linguine, olives and fresh tomatoes. Our friend had linguine and assorted seafood. I am not much on most seafood, but the taste I had of the pasta was actually spectacular. For dessert, I ordered their homemade banana ice cream covered with mint and chocolate sauce, along with large strawberries. Again, the homemade nature of the ingredients made the taste of what would ordinarily be a perfectly fine but simple dessert into a truly delightful treat. The service was superb. Dishes were brought and cleared when appropriate. When we mentioned that one of our party was celebrating a birthday, a birthday dessert was brought out for her with a dramatic sparkler so that we all could sing happy birthday. There were numerous parties in which one person was celebrating a birthday and apparently it is well known to the locals as a place to go for celebrations.

We had a really great meal here, even the starter an I'm not a friend of salad. But this salad was delicious. The steak was perfect and my wife's pizza, too. In addition to the service we recommend this restaurant strongly to all visitors of Prague!

This is a very elegant restaurant with great service that never lets you down. It is a perfect place for any occasion - whether private romantic dinner or business lunch. They have a great selection of wines and in summer the garden that is located inside the courtyard is just amazing! Definitely try fish in this place as this is one of the restaurants where you can be assured that the fish/seafood is going to be fresh and tasty.

Terrible place. Slow, rude, overpriced. There are so many new places in Prague and Kogo is stuck in the past...

The best pizza in Prague is here! No kidding! I have visited this place twice so far and the food was simply delicious both of these times! The interior is lovely, only the prices could be a little lower BUT on the other hand - the quality of the food is really the best so I think it is worth to pay a little extra!

Kogo is a relatively upscale dining experience complete with modern decor and a fantastic wine/champagne menu. This place is a great spot to entertain clients have a nice sit down quiet dinner. The cuisine is actually pretty good too, especially the steak. The steak was cooked to perfection and served with a health portion of potatoes that were nicely seasoned. The major downside of this pace was the chicken Caesar salad and just the overall service. The salad itself was boarder line terrible complete with average tasting lettuce and horrendous chicken, literally tasted like cold chicken nuggets. The service was also daily slow and we found ourselves continually pouring our own wine, etc... Not cool. Overall, go for the steak but skip the starter salads. Absolutely fantastic food. Definitely have dinner here. From the warm bread to the homemade pasta, the dishes are delightful. Fair portions balanced with great flavors make this a must stop for Italian fare. Prices are very reasonable for the amazing quality, and the ambience is fantastic. Not too casual, and not too formal. Great for a date night out, but also welcoming for families. If you're on this side of Prague, definitely stop in for a meal. Or two. You won't be disappointed.

I would say most of the best Italian places in Prague. Well selected wines and great main courses. We are always enjoying the service and the place itself.

Delicious risotto with shrimp and mushrooms. Enjoyed the fish and pasta dishes. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Kogo is an elegant Italian restaurant right in the city centre. In the summer their courtyard is perfect for enjoying some wine or a nice dinner. They serve a lot of sea food and typical Italian dishes. I have to say that considering the prices the food was just ok; it was good but did not meet high expectations. I would go there again for the nice atmosphere though.

The seafood platter was huge and the portions filling. Never had such succulent raw crawfish, lobster, prawn and 3 kinds of sashimi on one platter and that was the smaller size! Veal and scallops were unbelievable. Juicy and melt in your mouth good so flavorful. Nothing like this place stateside. Prague may be landlocked but their Mediterranean seafood was fantastic. Service was spectacular and puts so many other restaurants to shame in the quality of food and service that is superb here. Definitely going to come back. There are two restaurant locations and both are great.

Dining Date May 18, 2015 for dinner. Great outdoor seating area with plenty of shade and cover. Home made pasta is delicious. The pasta veal ragout was outstanding. Overall a very good meal with terrific atmosphere. Service was top notch as well.

Great atmosphere and sparkling clean. Food selection and quality very high. Recommended for Italian food.

Good Italian food, I took the risotto a la pescatore and another time, the St Pietro fish, it was good. Only one negative thing, I think the service and the waiters are bad (didn't get any bread, gave us a little bottle of sparkling water instead of a big one. No non smoking area.) Anyway, I could come back only for the food, but as I said, I believe the service and the waiters are mediocre.

Excellent! The food was wonderful and our waiter David was the absolute best!!! We'll come back again and look for David again.

I believe Kogo restaurant is the best Italian restaurant in the city. I've never tried the Italian cuisine better (besides Italy, and Ticino, Switzerland of course). Home made pasta, the highest quality sea-food, fresh and tasty vegetables. This is the place which is worth your money and time. On average I would say you pay about 500-700 kc per meal.

Just finished a great meal. I had the grilled seafood and it was perfect. The owner introduced himself and he is clearly in love with his restaurant. Had a nice Italian Chardonnay that was moderately priced, complimenting my fish and my wife's ceviche. Not easy dishes to prepare well but these were excellent. Only reason it does not get 5 stars - too much cigarette smoke.

We ate here our first night on Prague. Warm and stylish ambience, super friendly, efficient staff, lovely setting with garden terrace once you pass through an up scale shopping center. We had a super Chardonnay and great seafood. I had a seafood ceviche salad and my husband had grilled mixed seafood. We also ordered a side dish of grilled veggies. All was very well prepared, presented and flavorful. The ceviche was uniquely prepared and delicious though the salad greens underneath were a bit over saturated in the light lemon dressing. The grilled seafood was great. All in all, a fantastic first meal in Prague. Definitely will return. Wish it had a no-smoking area though.

Terrible service and food during breakfast. Deceivingly attractive location but the limited breakfast menu arrived late, over cooked, with incorrect ingredients.

This is a wonderful restaurant. The waiters are very helpful,the food is phenomenal and the prices are perfectly acceptable I recommend this is a great place to go in Prague. The staff makes you feel welcome and like family, actually they are a lot of fun.

very good food, meat (fiorentina steak, lamb etc), fish (branzino/seabass etc) or any of the soups or pastas...I think the success is that the owner is always present and cooks himself. anything you chose here it won't disappoint. it's a little pricey for Prague but that should not be a problem for getting good quality food.
