Koh Chang Grand View Resort

the hotel is expensive but unfortunately it is in a very bad condition and the internet does not work. in addition, work was being carried out directly in front of our room with a heavy excavator, which was unacceptable. the hotel is located at the end of the beach and has no access to the beach itself. we complained about the internet several times, but it didn't get any better over the whole 4 days we were in the hotel. unfortunately i couldn't work online. the furniture is totally rotten and is only good for firewood at best. there is a pipe in the step to the shower which is connected to the bathroom. the water runs through this directly into the rest of the bathroom when showering. so you are always standing in water. the towels can only be used for washing cars. they were also dirty. the room was also dirty and full of cobwebs. i am attaching some pictures so that you can better imagine what i mean. we got a 50% discount because of the work outside the window, but what's the point if i want to have a nice vacation?

I had a great 4 night stay here. For the price you pay everything is excellent but the highlight for me was the 5* service from the manager (Patt) and her team. So lovely, attentive and went out their way to help with tours, scooter hire and help with first aid. Our room was clean, spacious, perfect ocean views and a private pool to complement the larger shared pool. I love you all and hope to see you again one day. PS - epic sunset spot!

Very frendly staff, hotel in good location super peaceful. There is no access to sandy beach you have to walk 300m. I do reccomend to pay little bit extra for new build apartments and bungalow, higher standard.. Breakfasts wasn't bad but it was hard to find something interesting to eat. Overall Recommended

Chose to stay here during rainy season, but it was not a mistake at all! It was a bargain to stay in a garden villa overlooking the infinity pool. The rooms are great. The bed is super comfortable. It’s an incredibly clean resort suitable for families and couples alike, it would also be great as a solo retreat to relax beside a beautiful tranquil location. The food is phenomenal for the price that it costs, and the beach bar barbecue is absolutely top-notch which you can enjoy whilst sitting right beside the sea, listening to the waves crash against the rocks, which is a truly lovely sound to hear in the background whilst live music plays. Thank you for a fantastic stay, I’d be happy to come back again.

We stayed here for two weeks while in Koh Chang, rooms were nice (although sometimes there was a bad smell coming up the gutters in the bathroom), but staff was attentive, friendly and very helpful. Location is great, breakfast is good too (we asked to have a vegan fried rice), the gym could use an AC and the wifi is ok for working.

Great location, close to restaurants and shops. Small food night market across the street. Great pool and good value for the price. We would stay here again.

An absolutely beautiful seafront location where no matter where you are in the resort you can still hear the crashing of the waves, which is my favourite noise in the world. So calming. A very clean resort, a warm welcome, excellent location so you are close to places like lonely beach or the town a little further up. I have stayed on Koh Chang previously so I understand that this is a particularly good location. The food is unparalleled and excellent quality for the price. We arrived to live music, and I immediately dived in the pool which is warm and overlooks the sea as I previously mentioned. I’d be happy to stay here again!

It was the best beach vacation I've ever had! The staff are so friendly and the rooms are spacious with beautiful views!
