We stayed in two of the Garden Villas and paid for an extra bed to accommodate three adults. In Room G104, the air conditioning was not cooling effectively, though it was bearable. The bed made unpleasant creaking noises with the slightest movement.
Room G105 had no hot water. When we reported the issue, we were told that someone would come to fix it, but no one did.
Earlier in the evening, we dined at the restaurant. While the drink service was good, the food service was extremely slow. After placing our order, it took over an hour for the first dish to arrive and nearly two hours for the second. We eventually had to cancel the rest of our order.
At checkout, we were informed that they were already aware of the bed’s creaking noises. We received an apology for the lack of hot water and the absence of a plumber. Additionally, they mentioned that they had recently lost their head chef, which may have contributed to the slow service.
The swimming pool and spa pools overlooking the beach were lovely. However, access to the beach required using a ladder, as the stairs were under construction. Instead, guests had to climb a rusty ladder, which was a safety hazard.
The buffet breakfast was decent, but they only replenished items once they were completely empty. I also noticed that the fruit plate was refilled with different types of fruit later, rather than offering all options from the beginning.
Overall, I would not recommend this place. They had excuses for all the issues yet failed to address them, leaving guests to endure poor service.
