Koh Tao Central Hostel

Really great hostel! It's got a wicked London theme which is really nice, dorms are big but feel really private. I usually pick small dorms but these are fantastic 14 bed rooms. Dividing walls mean you get your own space, power sockets at each bed are great and you get your own light etc. Showers are clean and work well, there is CCTV in the room too which is great without being invasive and the Air Conditioning is amazing! Overall I'd 100% recommend and I'd return here any day!

Can totally recommend it! Best hostel I have been in for a while. Amazing and funny staff! Very friendly 🙂 There's free bananas, free netflix, free PlayStation, very good air conditioning in the dorms. But the best was: free breakfast! And actually really good breakfast (you have 4 options: toast, Musli, grilled rice with veggies and egg or the same with chicken). The breakfast value is 100 baht. Here's a pic of the grilled rice version. Lastly, it's very quiet from 10pm to 6am so you can easily sleep! It's not a party hostel but obviously it's young fun people you can party with outside the hostel!

They just know how to run a really, really great hostel. Staff is really friendly and they give you a list of reputable places that also give discounts to guests. They also helped us with taxis and getting the ferry the next day. The bed is really nice, super comfy pillow and sheets. The bed bunk is in individual cubbies with curtains on each bunk. The common space has comfy couches with a tv and PlayStation that has Netflix. The bathrooms are really clean and showers have a ton of hooks, a shelf and free soap. The owner, Johnny, even took the time to check up on us and see how our stay was going, really friendly guy. Best part too the hostel is a really short walk to the ferry. I had a great time and would totally recommend this place.

Nice and clean hostel, be aware that this hostel is associated with a Spanish diving school so all of the Spanish divers usually stay/drink/eat there etc. Not a problem for us though! AC could have been a little stronger to cool down the whole room however location was perfect for our early morning ferry.

Amazing Hostel for the 5 nights on Koh Tao. 24 hour Air conditioning was amazing after a day at the beach! The lockers and cctv made it very secure. Got discount in so many shops when staying at the hostel. No common area inside, but the reef bar across the road gives a discount and free beer when staying at the hostel. I traveled solo, but met a great group of people here. Would stay here again next year.

The best quality/price, The beds are really confortable and clean with courtains that give you privacy. They included in the rate a completed breakfast in the restaurant from of them, that make the place really valuable for the money and the pier is just in the corner. Also offer all they long cookies, coffee and tea for free. Even when I was the only guets they took me to a free tour on 3 viewpoints that was absolutely amazing, Jonny the owner is really nice and make everything to help. The aircon is also pretty good for the hot weather of the island. The best sunset View from the beach near by, 2 mins walk.

Booked 2 night on beforehand (299 bath per night). Because I didn't knew how long I would stay at Koh Tao. Booked the dorm because it is nearby the Impian divers school. I started the diving course and booked 3 extra nights. The bed is fine, the curtains are great. The airco was a bit to cold for me so I asked for an extra blanket. The showers are ok with shampoo aswell. The toilet and sanitair are fine. Haven't used the tv or playstation though I wanted to have some rest after diving. It's not a party dorm, just a chill dorm to rest. The coffee and bananas are a loving touch. Wish they had some teabags aswell.The location is perfect, near the pier, away of all the party noise. Be sure you check in at the counter/booking office next to the door of the dorm. You can easily book whatever you like ate the travel office. After check in you get a flyer with discounts when showing the dorm key. Would def come back.

24/7 AIRCON! HALLELUJAH! After staying at 4 different hostels I was so grateful to find this gem. Rolf is a super nice guy and is very helpful. The prices are as low as they get. If only it had curtains and better WiFi signal it would be perfect but I was willing to overlook that because of the much needed AC.
