Fantastic Experience! The price was very reasonable and everyone who worked here was extremely friendly every morning always greeting me with a smile and even remembered what I ordered for breakfast! The owner was so helpful and friendly each morning and even taught me some thai language 😁 The ocean is great and calm for swimming , a lot of sand bars to swim out to and relax. There’s also plenty of beautiful shells 🐚 to find each morning! The geckos 🦎 were SO COOL!!! I had 1 for the first few days and then eventually he had a companion! They always stayed there in the window. I was nervous at first to not have hot water or ac… but after hot days on the island and then cool nights with the fan, everything temperature wise , was just perfect! The only thing I would change was maybe the windows for a bit better sound proofing from The motorbikes and the shower head for better pressure. But overall it was a great stay and when I return I will only stay here 🙏🙏🙏 ขอบคุณมาก! ကျေးဇူးအရမ်းတင်ပါတယ်!

The best resort in south Thailand, especially if you value customer service. I had a motorbike accident and came and stayed with pops for a week while I healed. He took care of me & gave me stuff to clean my wound, gave me a cane when I couldn’t walk, and feed me breakfast everyday. I can’t explain my appreciation for Won, the owner. I felt so depressed after the wreck it hurt so much to walk so it was hard to me to leave out the resort to even feed my self. The heart in that man’s chest is something to write home about. I will 100 be back just to show him the support he deserves. Thank you pops 🩵🩵

Great location at the quieter part of the beach though next to the road. Depending on which room you get you might hear every single car and scooter passing by. The bay is wonderful but the beach at the resort looks terrible. The owner claimed it's due to conserving the beache against the heavy rains but his neighbours beaches look clean and welcoming. Surely there is a better way to secure the waterfront. We asked owner to clean the beach but instead of any action we were suggested to use the beach in other place and be kinder people. Last but not least, rooms require a number of repairs. If you are on the thight budget, beach is not important and selfcentered manager is not a problem than we can recommend.

This place is truly a paradise! With just a short walk to the beach and great restaurants close by this place is perfect. The owner is absolutely fantastic with his interest in his visitors and top service. Even good English. We stayed in a room without AC (only fan) which was a little too warm for our liking. If that’s important to you, I’d go for a room with AC. The room could also have been a little cleaner, at least in our experience. The best about this place is the outside area. Perfect to relax, play cards, so some work or just hangout. Still such a wonderful place with a great location. Food, some shops and a 7/11 super close. The atmosphere is very quiet and relaxing, so this is a great place to wind down. The beach near is very quiet too.

Best place to stay if you are diving on the island. They have various rooms to suit your budget. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is budget friendly and authentic, not to mention tasty. There is a 7/11 walking distance away as well as various good spots to eat. A scooter rental is down the road. Great little lookout beach area. A little paradise on the island.

Booked only 4 nights and ended staying 1 month in the end. Relatively simple but well maintained traditional Thai resort, with perfect location at asmall strip of the beach in chalok bay. Super friendly stuff and a beautiful garden which is perfectly maintained. Everything in walking distance but still a quiet area.

Definitely a recommendation!! The staff is very friendly and kind. My room had everything I needed. It’s right at the beach and as I said the staff is soo kind & helpful you have just to talk to them and they try to make the stay as good as possible for one.

My family stayed at Koh Tao Tropicana Resort for 4 days and 3 nights. I would say even the hotel is not a 5-star hotel but services, foods & location are superb. The room with strong a/c was wonderful for the tropical climate. The room was clean and spacious for the 3 of us. The hotel itself is right on a beach, very quiet and peaceful. It's a perfect place to rest and relax. Foods are authentic Thai foods with, surprisingly, an affordable price--- even cheaper than what it is on the mainland or BKK. Furthermore, a 7-11 shop was just steps away from the hotel. So, it's really convenient to buy what we needed! The hotel owner, Mr. Wan, is very kind, with a good command in English, very knowledgeable about the area (because he's been living in the island for almost 30 years). His suggestion about local, diving tour was spot on. We went with a tour group and experienced the most wonderful diving boating tour ever---- Thank you very much. In short, we're very impressed with everyone and everything here. And, we will come back to this place again for a certain!
