We stayed there for four nights and what a beautiful stay it was. Our garden view bungalow was beautiful. I was a little sad that I couldn't get the sea view bungalow but once I saw the garden view I was pleased things worked out that way. The bungalows are beautifully set up with every possible amenity at disposal. The staff make sure you have fresh set of towels every morning for your trip to the beach or pool. The food was just as good, wide variety for breakfast. We also tried the private dining experience and the service and the staff were marvellous. The spa was just as relaxing as one could imagine. I enjoyed every bit if my stay on the island thanks to the resort. The resort is an excellent choice for stay if you are looking to just relax and enjoy the nature without the hassle of travelling here and there much. Thank you for everything.

We were here over Christmas and it was lovely! A very authentic and relaxing experience, and the rooms were lovely!|Really wanted to write this review to commend the security guards Nop and Man! They went out of their way to help us, including finding us a car to rent, helping us return it, helping us in with our shopping, keeping an eye out for us round the island and being so helpful and cheery every time we saw them! |Thank you so much, it really made our stay and showed the resort is really in good hands and very safe!! I hope this can be passed on to them!

Beautiful resort, quiet and peaceful. The staff are very attentive and it has great food and fantastic pool with amazing view! Highly recommended and very well priced. ||They put on lots of activities including a free shuttle bus to the most stunning beach in Thailand!

Beach Bungalow was really great, did not experience any bugs/wildlife as other reviews suggest perhaps this is just in the cheap rooms in the forest. Food in Restaurant outstanding both for breakfast and lunch/dinner. Excursions I went on were excellent highly recommend the boat trip. Main issues I had with this place was the lack of quiet area at the pool I feel that this resort is advertised as somewhere to relax in nature but is actually a family resort full of very LOUD screaming babies, this was very unexpected and ruined the ambiance for me. I did my best to avoid but the parents kept bringing the screaming into my space. An adults only or quiet pool area would be useful. Spending my holiday trying to dodge the very noisy babies wasn’t much fun. Other unbelievably disgusting issue was the strange woman who brought a cat to breakfast and put it on a chair in the dining area. The staff could clearly see many guests were disgusted and distressed and did nothing about this. I have very severe allergies and I find this absolutely appalling that nothing was done. After this I could no longer risk entering the main areas of the resort or eating the food. Very disgusting in general allowing a stray animal to dine in the restaurant. Other strange hygiene issues I noted were the signs in the toilets explaining how to wash hands but in the disabled toilet there was never any soap the whole time I stayed here. How can guests wash hands if there is no soap? the door lock is very very high in the disabled toilet, I’m suggesting this is an accessibility issue. Also in the main resort toilets the only way to dry hands after washing is to use toilet roll, this is just wrong and unhygienic. The only bin in the bungalow bathroom is next to the toilet, guests are expected to for example floss teeth and then use the bin next to the toilet where the lid can only be taken off by hand. Disgusting!!

This is a special place. My parents and I stayed here for several nights in December and had an outstanding time. The whole place has a very pleasant eco-resort vibe and an excellent location on one of Khao Yao Yai's eastern beaches. It is really idyllic and there is not much development around the resort. The villas were extremely comfortable, with nice beds, indoor and outdoor showers, and a spacious sitting room. There are multiple large pools, the beach, and lots of opportunities for activities that can be arranged through the resort. We did a day-long village tour as well as massages at the spa, which is very comfortable and pricey by Thai standards but still affordable. Be sure to book 24 hours in advance or earlier. There are two good quality restaurants, one that specializes in grilled seafood and meats that is right on the beach and another that serves excellent Thai food. The breakfast buffet is extensive with lots of options. There is a modest gym with some weights and workout machines. The staff was really quite excellent. My parents are older and the staff were quite accommodating and attentive to their needs. Getting to this place requires a bit of time. You need to get from the Phuket airport to a boat launch (about 30 minutes by car) then take about a 20-30 minute boat ride to Khao Yao Yai island then another car to the resort. The resort's website allows you to book a transfer, which is a convenient. The extra travel is worth it though for the natural scenery and sense of isolation. Really recommend this place.

Koh Yao Yao Village is the perfect retreat to get away and shut off from the rest of the world. Beautiful resort set in nature the beach front villa is a great size for small family perfect spot overlooking the islands and right on the beach close to the restaurants and pools. 2 large pools with plenty of sun chairs. Breakfast buffet exceeded my expectations and the lunch/dinner menus are perfect. As u can imagine you have plenty of access to delicious fresh seafood. Warm friendly staff made our family feel at home. Only disappointment was having to leave

The hotel grew on me. We stayed 5 nights, we ended up extending our stay. The hotel was nice and quiet, that might have just been because we were there during rainy season, but it didn’t feel too busy at all. I think the hotel itself is nice in the main common areas, the pool, the beach, the restaurants, but I definitely wouldn’t call any of it luxury. If you’re looking for a luxury experience this isn’t it. The beds and bedding were super comfortable which was great, however, the constant termite wood shavings all over the room did get a bit annoying. You couldn’t exactly walk anywhere without shoes. Otherwise the room was just fine. The only downside to the resort is say was the service in the restaurant, getting food took forever and the portions at times were very small. One night our room service order was forgotten and didn’t come. That said, the breakfast is very well run and maybe the best part! I’d come back, but definitely no eating at the resort, too many good spots on the island for cheap and very fast meals.

Lovely get away from it all. |Rooms are external lodge type with covered area for outside relaxing, also and outside shower. |Good choice at breakfast and all the food we experience was good.|Beach not so good sandy and very shallow and a muddy brown colour. |Two lovely pools, one day we had the whole area to ourselves, however there could be a fight for the sun beds at busy times. |Some near by restaurants a good walk with a slight hill. |We hired a motor boat me and side car and discovered a lovely remote beach around the other side which was perfect.
