Kohlis Waterfront Indian Restaurant Batemans Bay

Dined here with family and overall had a very enjoyable experience. The location is right by the waterside, which adds to the atmosphere and service was quick. We ordered Hariyali Chicken Tikka, Lakhnawi Seekh Kabab, Butter Chicken, Punjabi Goat, and Beef Vindaloo. Most dishes were well executed, with the naan being the biggest standout as they kept coming out super hot direct from the oven… ****caution: Beef Vindaloo comes with serious heat level and not for the faint-hearted Punjabi Goat Curry wasn’t that good so I would suggest skipping it. Overall, a solid dining option with good food, fast service, and a great setting. Worth visiting… **** Also, their meat is halal ….

Perfect outlook at the waterfront in Batemans bay. I just had the lunch specialThali and a couple of beers. A really enjoyable experience. The food was generous and tasty (next time I’ll ask for a bit more heat but I forgot this time) with great spicing. Each of the 3 curry’s were distinct and tasty. Bread was also delicious. I ate the lot and sat and had an another beer while enjoying the outlook. Plenty of waterfront seats so no pressure to move. Great lunch.

Had a great experience at Kohlis Waterfo Indian Restaurant. We ordered chicken tikka masala, daal tadka, and Punjabi cholay with plain naan, chips, and nuggets. Everything was freshly made and delicious. Simar, who served us, was very friendly and pleasant to chat with, which made the visit even better. Would definitely come back! 🫶

Beautiful restaurant right on the water 💛 Food was incredible. Best indian food we have had in Australia! Have returned and each time is just as good. Also, highly recommend the old fashioned cocktail with a chai spice twist. We will be back again 👏🍸

This is the regular restaurant we visit whenever my partner and I come down the coast. The food is outstanding, the service is exceptional and the atmosphere is optimal. They keep the original favourites on the menu and you will not be disappointed. This is a great venue for a couple, to bring the family or for some food with friend's. A great Friday night treat, the place was buzzing and full of atmosphere when we arrived. Food was spot on, the butteriest of chicken and perfect for dipping that that Mix Naan Basket into. Great service and lovely staff. We’ll be back

My second visit from out of town with friends who dine there regularly and I know why. The food is delicious. Good portions. Delicate meat and beautiful fusion of spiced flavours. From samosas, Lababdar (sp?) prawns, and a perfectly succulent and lean chicken tikka to the lamb Saag and the freshest Naan. Try the three cheese and garlic option for a real treat. The pickles were a sides highlight. Icy cold water and a good Pinot Gris were important over a very hot day. The air con struggled so it was hot inside, the bench behind us needed another once over to give the space that ‘sparkling’ clean attention. Very friendly staff and a beautiful view of the harbour. Highly recommend.
