A great Friday night treat, the place was buzzing and full of atmosphere when we arrived. Food was spot on, the butteriest of chicken and perfect for dipping that that Mix Naan Basket into. Great service and lovely staff. We’ll be back

We were on a road trip from Melbourne stopping along the way in some cute country towns off the beaten track. Some of the retailers on route ,highly recommended we try this restaurant .So we did and the food so fresh , so delicious, best Indian we have tried . Our waitress Edna was friendly and delightful. Definitely try this restaurant if you're coming through Batemans Bay , Indian food can be a bit hit and miss , but this was spot on , do yourself a flavour 👌

My teenager son was disappointed that our evening was going to be at an Indian restaurant and according to him it would never be good enough to be fancy. But wow Kohlis was amazing. It was attentive table service even though they were full. The food arrived speedily. And the taste was out of this world!!!! The butter chicken was the best according to my teenagers and the prawns curry we had were perfect and made the perfect breakfast. The Naan breads were fluffy and tasty. Thank you for a great evening. For any South African out there, their Koala dessert cocktail = Don Pedro's

Really tasty food with decent portion sizes, decent service and a reasonable atmosphere. If you book, ask for tables closer to the water - the long narrow dining hall means you quickly lose this view if in an inside table away from the windows.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kohlis Waterfront Indian Restaurant, and the experience was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the warm and inviting ambiance set the tone for what turned out to be an unforgettable meal. What truly stood out was the outstanding service provided by the manager. My wife has a severe dairy allergy, and navigating restaurant menus can often be challenging. However, the manager went above and beyond to ensure her dining experience was both safe and delightful. They personally guided us through the menu, recommending dishes that could be customized to be completely dairy-free, and even coordinated with the kitchen staff to prevent any cross-contamination. This level of attention and care made us feel incredibly valued and reassured. As for the food, I highly recommend trying their goat meat dishes—the flavors were rich, tender, and perfectly spiced. The goat curry, in particular, was a standout, with succulent meat that melted in the mouth, complemented by aromatic spices that danced on the palate.

We had a great night with great food and atmosphere. The restaurant was buzzing with happy patrons and the staff were attentive and engaging. The Goa fish curry was superb as were our other dishes and naan bread. We will certainly be back. And don’t forget to use your NRMA discount if you have the app. It makes the bill at the end of the night very reasonable.

It's a pretty good Indian restaurant. The food was pretty good, we had visited it 2 times during our stay in Batemans Bay. The indian bread and curries were well done. The service could be better, the Indian staff looks like they don't want to work here, i observed it both days.

Really sad with the food quality and the customer service . Lucky we did not order 4 Thalis for 4 person otherwise it would be a disaster. The lamb curry in Thali was OFF and smelled. The serving portion for the Chat was very less. The customer service was not good and did not felt welcoming. The only thing we enjoyed was the Mango Lassi which was mind blowing and glad that filled our stomach. The view from the restaurant is awesome and maybe next time I’ll speak to the staff about the best dish they can serve and may give it a try otherwise No Thank You.
