Kohl's

Store overall is clean and has a variety of different clothing, shoes, etc. I did feel uncomfortable with "LP" Loss Prevention. I felt like he was following me as I was trying to find what I wanted to buy. He kept asking if I needed help or if I'm okay. That makes people feel uncomfortable. I frequently shop here, what's the issue?????

The store has gone downhill in the last 2 years. Not enough staff, disorganized. Oh and the men's clothing section just taken over by women shopping for straight men who are apparently unable to pick out their own clothes.

Kohls is quickly going downhill and soon to be gone like Kmart. They have sales, clearance deals that really and truly is not a deal. Their clothes are shabby, but to each his own. I walked around to check things out, but not worth the trip.

Good department store , with fair pricing and more importantly helpful staff , it was easy to find someone to ask questions , they were keen to help , so 5 stars for service for sure Parking is easy as well , like in many other stores , The shop design is good , easy to follow and the grouping is done well If you want they have also an Amazon Return facility, right in the middle of the store , smart choice as this is how we found about Kohl's and spend much more then ... :) Congratulations to who ever thought about it Enjoy

I love this store and the people who work here . They are great. Good deals and awesome yo get khols cash.

There are always great deals and the line moves quickly. The girl at register 8 was especially outgoing and helpful today.

They have awesome stuff, found the cutest perfume bottles. They also have Amazon drop off but it seems to be really popular because there’s usually lines. I also find it fascinating that they have the electronic fake iPad things to say the prices…it’s surprisingly more high tech than the usual department store.

I was at the Clifton Kohl's store to purchase an outfit for my daughter. I am waiting on line for the next cashier to become available. There is a very large group of people standing in the back of me, some of them were seniors. After waiting for more than 15 minutes on line instead there were only two cashiers allowing me to proceed they decided it was time to start folding clothes instead. Really? I then proceeded to say "Excuse me but we are all waiting" and still no acknowledgement. I was about to leave everything and just walk out but she finally called me. And you call this CUSTOMER SERVICE? How Horrible. I informed her that rather than folding clothes, she should attend to the masses first!

My partner goes to this Kohl's location in Clifton frequently, and more often than not, I'm in tow accompanying him. Kohl's is not my go-to department store, but it's solid. A big draw is the Amazon returns station, which has for me a good track record for fast and efficient transactions. For the most part, store inventory is orderly, but my partner has criticized a few times when men's clothes are not displayed under the correct price sign. He still comes here though because Kohl's specific brands - like he was really into Mark Anthony's button down shirts due to the fit. There are some interesting product collaborations available at Kohl's. Also, this Clifton location will sometimes have good clearance deals with seasonal items. While waiting for him, I'll go on a clearance item hunt just to see what I can find (kills the time - and can be killer bargain!). Lines can get LONG, but the cashiers are nice... Overall, it's a good Kohl's operation.

If you've ever been to a Kohl's before then you know what to expect, however, this one has a huge Sephora in there as well which just adds to how solid this spot is. I typically come here to return amazon packages, check out Lauren Conrad jewelry, and now Sephora basics instead of running all the way to the mall. Super convenient, large parking lots, and well organized.

Kohl's is the next Sears..maybe not this year in 2018 but I find it difficult to think its brick and mortar stores will be around for much longer. This Kohl's was pretty well organized and had in stock exactly what I came in to buy when I looked on their website prior. The woman in the dressing room was rude - purposely ignoring me and later after standing at the entrance for a good 3 minutes I ask "can I go inside any stall?" and she dismissively says "yeah just go." Thanks - good to know - why are you standing and getting paid for being in the dressing room then? I normally don't write a lot of reviews on department stores but the reason I chose to write this review was because how sweet and memorable my cashier Lexy was. She was friendly, quick, and even went as so far to apply a coupon to my order after I stated I didn't have any with me. Nowadays you don't see many people in retail happy at their jobs - but Lexy deserves some acknowledgement in the yelp world lol.

I love this place it's very organized and the cashiers are very pleasant I came here looking for a coat and was amazed by how perfectly arranged everything was especially during the holiday season well done thank you.!

The one thing I love at Kohl's is their coupons. I hate how long their lines are and NEVER get an order to pick up here. It is awful. They would cancel part of my order because it was out of stock but never let anyone know till you get there. The lines to pick up are horrendous and the service is just as bad. I came here once to pick up an online order for shoes. They said it was ready for pick up so I show up and they said they didn't have it. I asked if I can go into the store and take it off the shelf and bring it to them and they said no. They said I could pay for another pair of shoes and when my initial order is ready for pick up, I can cancel it or refund it then. After that incident, I avoid going there unless I really have to.

Purchased some makeup on clearance and saw an additional sign posted buy 1 get 1 for $1 right on the makeup. At checkout I advised the cashier and he spoke with a supervisor which asked me to show them the area in which I found the makeup then had me wait approximately 15minutes at the register while they called management... really? All of this for some clearance items? After the long wait a female manager proceeded to tell me that bc there aren't multiple of these signs posted she can not honor the deal... from my experience whenever there is a sign posted for a specific item even if it was supposed to be taken down or expired, it was still given to me for the advertised price/deal. Disappointed at the store for that experience. I don't really shop at Kohl's and I do not see me giving much more business to them. Thank you anyways

The only reason I go here is for two people: my sister and mom. They swear by this place. Any holiday or birthday this is my go to spot. Otherwise I am not a fan. I think their clothing is cheaply made and you can get any of their house items elsewhere for either the same price or less. Yeah you can score Kohl's dollars but I just give them away. I have purchased things for myself and have been disappointed with how short they last (shirts/sports items). Place is always freaking busy though. Parking is a premium but luckily they have ample spots. Sundays and anytime during the holidays this place is a zoo...

Eh, it's your basic Kohl's. Selection was okay but we had a cashier who apparently couldn't find a basic bar code on a discounted item. The slow, excruciating delay on getting that item rung up made us choose not to get it. After all, this was my birthday and we had traveled from NYC. It's also one of those typically hard to get to places in Jersey unless you've got good directions or have a good sense of navigation. Not something I'd go out of my way for but if you're in the area, it's certainly not a bad Kohl's location.

I go to this kohls most often , it is closest to me. I always leave having done some damage. That being said I really miss the chaps brand sheets and quilts. And my husband lives in champion lounge pants. And you don't carry much of an assortment any more. There was a whole rack light gray dark gray and black. No Navy and all small medium , then 2X maybe XL but irrelevant because he needs large and not one pair. They look nice on him and he likes them which save a lot of stress. Lol But not laughing now he needs new ones and seems we are out of luck!!! Why oh why !?!?!

This store is a mess. Can't find anything on the clearance racks in ladies pajamas & bras, it's a mess. Flip-flops are mismatched & clipped together with wrong sizes. Nearly every top I picked up was a different size than what the hanger said - poorly managed when everything is that much of a mess. I saw 2 employees hiding in departments to use their cell phones & fitting rooms were a mess too, every room had loads of clothes in it. One room even had a pair of surgical type gloves on the floor . Will go to Paramus location from now on.

I came here to return items that I purchased online. The wait was not too long although the cashiers moved slow. The girl that took care of me explained that if I used Kohl's cash to purchase my items my return will be credited back as Kohl's merchandise credit. I received a flimsy thin faux card in the amount of what I returned. I'm satisfied and that's all that matters.

First off I just would like to say I've been going here for over 10 years and I never felt the need to write a review. Good or bad. My experience has been that the store has good deals. The lines tend to be long but move quickly during sales and the merchandise is decent. Like I said no reason to write a review until this year. I would like to say that for the last six to eight months the customer service in the store has jumped from adequate to outstanding. I find the employees to have positive attitudes. The cashiers have really taken it up a notch. They always check to see if I have any additional rewards. They offer coupon if i forget mind at home. All with a smile. Today I noticed they had santa for the kids at no charge. Keep up the greaT work. I will continue to patronize this store.

This store is always clean. There is hardly ever a line as they normally have at least four cashiers open on a slow day. Prices can't be beat. I think I am in love with you, Kohl's.

I have been going here for a couple of years now, love the coupons, etc. but something has changed recently and I am now turned off. I was shopping the other day and went to go into a fitting room. The rooms were full of clothes and no where to put anything. Not to mention the dust balls. It was also way to hot in the fitting room and the place was a mess, clothes on the floor. I'm not sure what is happening with this store but I'll be sure to shop somewhere else.

Kohl's is a great all around store. They carry just about everything, the prices are good and the selection is more than adequate. Not only do I do alot of my shopping here but they are great if you need something last minute. Recently I needed an overnight bag and not only did pick up a nice Delsy bag but a second one for $1. Kohl's always has amazing sales and often runs the Kohl's Cash promo ($10 for every $50 spent) which definitely keeps me coming back. I find their quality to be good and although the store gets a bit disheveled it is still pretty easy to shop. I especially like that they have added several high end cosmetics (Lorac, Bliss, Cargo) that I use and can use my coupons to purchase. I have been able to avoid untold trips to the mall having a Kohl's a few minutes away which is a huge plus.

Worse service ever. Ppl were standing in line. I get behind them. They go to the register and I see another line forming when I'm next. I was told by another cashier that the line is now starting on the other end. I requested to speak to a manager bc I stood there for 20 mins and the manager up front by the name of Tandro completely ignores me. I have been a customer of Kohls are years and I have never had to deal with such disrespect and ignorance. Probably because I usually go to the woodland park location. This Clifton location usually has bad service but the manager, Tandro, in Clifton for has to go. If I could put up zero stars I would have!!

Decent selection here, but the staff was slow to respond to customer needs, hard to find, and the lines were slow.

The customer service in this Kohl's is horrible. Even if the lines are only 4 people deep, the wait is always really long. Yesterday as I waited in line, with three customers behind me, one of the two cashiers decided to walk away to fold clothes behind the Customer Service counter. Total disregard for customer's time. The cashiers never smile and barely speak. It is a shame that employees in the service business are not taught basic customer service etiquette.

Its big department store, what more can you ask for? Front cashiers were all helpful and fitting room people were all pleasant. They always have 30-40% off on cloths and shoes anytime of the year.

it's an ok store, good to pick up something last min but the costumer service is terrible. I had this woman named Tiffany check me out she was so rude 1st she told me there was no tag on the sweater I wanted to purchase when she found it she said" well you're lucky you don't have to go get another one" I'm sorry I'm lucky it's your job if there's no tag you go not me! then when I tried to use the coupon I passed her the paper and with an attitude she tells me I don't need it I see the percentage off well I'm sorry how would I know if you have to take it away or scan it or not! I don't work there!!! and on top of that I'm sorry but shouldn't some clean appearance be necessary to work at the cash register, her breath stank so bad and when she talked her teeth were half chipped and black! I'm sorry but that store need better standards of who to hire for working with costumers!! guess I'm going to have to use the kohls on rt 46 from now on.

Well thank god i went to exchange my merchandise at a different Kohl's and they did not carry what i had purchased bc the idiot who rang me up left the security tag on the item. Thank god i had the receipt when i went to return it bc has i not i probably would have been detained and arrested for stealing merchandise. But i did have a receipt and the Kohl's i returned it to (change of mind for the price i decided it wasn't that cute) did not have that exact item otherwise i wouldve been screwed aside from the fact that the security door thing never even went off during my original time of purchase. Had i gone to wear this and not return it i would be even more pissed

Thursday approximately 5 PM and fairly empty. When requesting Men's Furnishings, manager said "By ties." I asked where that was. "By shirts." Asked where that was. "Go to back." When browsing Marc Anthony dress jackets, I noticed that sizes didn't match hanger tags, weren't in any order and two styles were intermixed. No staff to ask assistance. Given others' many negative posts over several years, my experience wasn't unique or has service improved over that period. Must be their operational model.

I like this Kohl's, it's big & quiet but they need to lower their sales since Walmart, TJ Maxx & Marshall's are about 8 minutes away. It's great they give you coupons at the register but plenty of occasions I found a $50 shirt here that was 20 bucks at the other stores. It would be nice if they did mmore of the "get cash back" but the lines go fast and most of the cashiers are really nice. Staff is what would make me go back.

The service at this Kohl's Clifton location is getting worse as some of the cashiers and return cashiers are rude and mean, at times, they're more busy talking to each other than helping you, the lines are always so slow even though there are only a few customers on line and the managers are no where to be found to call for back up cashiers, and some of the clothes are hung up so high on the top racks that I had to find a pole to get the items down as there was no assistance on the floor to help me. The store online pick-up is the worst as they can't find the item I ordered and after 45 minutes of waiting, I had to cancel the order. This store is so messed up.

This is my favorite Kohl's! The store is big, organized, clean, and very well stocked. I love the Kohl's cash deals that they have and I always get excellent coupons in the mail, both percentages off and $10 off Kids clothing purchases, teen clothing purchases, etc. that I combine together to score AMAZING discounts. A few weeks ago, I went shopping for baby clothes and hit the discount racks, which were FILLED - I was in baby heaven! I was shopping for a 2 year old boy and a 2 year old girl, and walked out with $300 worth of stuff for only $52 after coupons! I also got $10 Kohl's cash back for next time which made it even sweeter. The workers here are generally nice but I had to refrain from 5 stars because sometimes the customer service can be rude.

I went to Kohl's this passed weekend to look for open sweaters for my daughter 2x or 3x. Boy, I wish they would get rid of those clearance clothes and get back to rows of Women's clothes. You can't find any Women's clothes it's a mess. When you walk into the store the it looks great for the sizes S, M, L XL but when you get into the store in the back it's a mess. Please get your act together and get the Women's 1X,2X,3X area in order so we can at least shop and buy things and not walk out of the store empty handed. So, I had to go to Sears in Willowbrook to find sweaters for my daughter and I did in their Women's section that was at least in order and you could look and buy things. Maybe you need to send your people over and see how they set up their Women's section. Thank you for listening to me and I hope your management does something about this. alice wojtowicz

I placed an online order to pick-up in store and had a horrible experience. First, I picked up the item at another Kohl's. Turns out, they had given me the wrong size. I understand it's the holiday season, but the overall customer service was horrible in both NJ locations. Later that evening I went to the Clifton Kohl's location and there were only two lanes open for online orders/customer service. I waited at least 10 minutes before being helped. I explained to the employee that I had ordered an XL but was given a MEDIUM. She then proceeded to tell me I could go look for the right size. I then asked, how do I know if you guys even have it in store? The lines were HUGE. I was not going to waste time looking for this sweater in a packed store and lose my space in line when all she had to do was scan the item to see if it was in stock. She did so and discovered it was NOT. Then, she asked what I would like to do so I asked her what my options were. She stated I could get a refund. She did not bother wasting her time to see if it was available in another store or even suggest ordering it online again to the store. I quickly asked for a refund and walked out. What a waste of my time!

Kohl's clothes aren't as nice as years ago. Depending on when you go the store can be a mess with clothes and sizes all mixed up and even strewn on the floor. The clothes are stuffed too tight on the racks and it's hard to find my size. Some racks are so high up I can't reach themm and there is no one to ask for help. I was there recently and went to the registers near the men's clothes to check out since it was shorter than the other side, and all the lights were on by the registers. Then I noticed only TWO cashiers were working with no one at the other lighted registers--total fake out! I don't love this store but it's near my house and I go only when they send coupons. I also don't like it when the jewelry counter is empty but the girl won't check me out unless I buy a piece of jewelry. Why?

Kohl's is a great store. Get all my workout wear and casual clothing. Can't beat the sales especially with the extra discount for Kohls charge holders. My mother, sister and I shop often!

The people here could not tell me where to get a flash light and most did not know what a flashlight was.. The staff was too busy hanging out amongst their self to help me located a flashlight. Many employees just point me to the opposite direction away from them to find a flashlight. I had to leave the store to go to another Store to buy a flashlight..

This is the worst Kohl's going! The only good thing about it is its centralized location. Do yourself a favor and go to the Secaucus, Woodland Park or Wayne Kohl's. The sales floor associates are much more competent and and not lazy. The clothes actually have price tags on them and they don't mix in regular-priced clothes on the clearance racks, unlike Clifton! But perhaps the biggest disparity lies in the jewelry department. Anita in Clifton is the rudest, most condescending associate I've ever encountered in my life (and I'm 45!), whereas Barbara in Secaucus, and Kathy, Emily, Eric and Doreen in Woodland Park have been absolute delights to deal with! Therefore I refrained from purchasing the $1,200 necklace that Anita (reluctantly) showed me and opening up a Kohl's charge in Clifton because of Anita's extremely poor attitude I did it in Secaucus and I was much happier!

who do you think you are fooling? seriously? I went there on Tuesday to purchase some items with my friends and family discount. The cashier said they are not accepting the coupon until Thursday. I went back on Thursday and the price for the item went up. When I used the coupon it went back to the original cost I saw on Tuesday. So funny.

This is a decent store. Can't complain with the pricing of a lot of clothing. The shoes seem to be over-priced at times, however the sales make things easier to swallow price wise. I'm not a fan of how hot it always is in this store. I think management needs to make sure there is a better source of air conditioning throughout the store. Even the cashier's complained about it being hot in the store. Another gripe I have with Kohl's is that there is never a cart when you need one. There just isn't enough carts available at this store or any branch during busy days, weekends and holidays. Please add more carts to these stores and that will take the edge off some of the frequent unhappy shoppers. I like the fact that Kohl's added a tech section to the store in the back. Expansion of that tech area in the store will prove to be a good move for the business in my opinion. Technology is king right now.

While at a family & friends party I heard of the young man who delivered an $1,100 catering order, to KOHLS, CLIFTON, NJ, and was treated rudely and received NO TIP. Employees were not only impatient but several were out and out nasty to him, pushing to get to unopen trays, yelling for plates, never even holding a door. It was a classes Food Frenzy by a group of unappreciative staff. All 22 members of my family and our extended family and friends will never shop at this store again.
