⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Koki Beach – Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica We absolutely loved Koki Beach—an unexpected and excellent dining experience. The food was outstanding, very creative in presentation, and, most importantly, of exceptional quality. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with beautiful ocean views and a warm, colorful setting. The staff was friendly and extremely attentive—our drinks arrived within minutes, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. We started with the Vegetarian Tacos Chinos, perfectly crunchy and served with a sweet-and-sour dipping sauce—delicious and unique. My first course was the Grilled Tuna Salad with arugula, complemented by caramelized onions; it was perfectly balanced and fresh. Brian had the special Fish Fillet in Meunière Sauce, served over mashed potatoes—exquisite in flavor and beautifully presented on a leaf. Dessert was the perfect finale: “Banana in a Box” and Chocolate Mousse, both truly outstanding. An unforgettable dining experience—we can’t wait to return!

KOKi Beach is on the top of my Puerto Viejo dining experience list. The drinks, the decor, the food, and the staff are all top tier. I’ve tried many items on the menu and each one has impressed. This is the perfect place to go with any size group. I’ve taken a big group of friends for a birthday and also sometimes go solo. My fav items on the menu are the calamari, KOKi sliders, veggie skewers, banana in the box, and the sangria. If you appreciate delicious food and a vibe this is the place to be.

Loved our anniversary dinner here! It felt so special- our server Andres was a huge part of that! Beautiful setting and delicious food with an excellent presentation. Ambiance is great. Next time I wouldn’t sit as close to the road (it’s noisy) but great sunset view! We had a shrimp dish and a steak dish that were both packed with flavor! Would love to come again!

My wife and I had a lovely dinner at Koki. Andres our waiter was top-notch. Highly recommend their filet mignon and tuna steak. It was amazing! The happy hour from 5pm to 6pm is an awesome deal.

Food was excellent, my friend and I got the garlic lobster and the grilled octopus and the spring rolls as well as the passion fruit crème brûlée. All were great but the octopus in particular was grilled to perfection, crispy skin and tender meat 🤤. Our server andres was incredible and super friendly

Definitely dress to impress for KOKi this restaurant was definitely on my list for a fancy dinner. Great for date night or for family dinner celebrations. Reservations are recommended it does get busier past 7:30pm you may be able to get a spot if it is not busy but every time we drove past it was the restaurant to go to. Food was amazing and tropical drinks were 10/10. Location was in a busy intersection trying to get to the next beach but you get the view of the beach and vendors across.

It’s rare to find a place where the food, drinks, and service all feel equally strong, but this is one of them. You can tell there’s care behind everything, from the menu to the people working it. The decor is stunning, and sets the tone the second you walk in. The overall experience feels intentional from start to finish. Great for date nights. What truly makes this spot stand out, though, is the bar. Steven and Alex are, without exaggeration, the best bartenders in town. Their knowledge, attention to detail, and thoughtfulness elevate the experience. The drinks are amazing! Every last one of them. And they don’t just make great drinks, they create an environment that makes you want to stay longer and come back. If and when you go, sit at the bar, trust Steven and Alex, and enjoy the night. This place deserves its reputation.

I highly recommend this restaurant! Staff: Incredible! Anything we needed or requested was provided immediately with sincerity and a huge smile. Atmosphere: Beautiful! We sat in the front of the restaurant and over looked the beach. If you’re lucky you may see the local resident sloth walk by. Food: Great! I had the Snapper, fresh and grilled. It was delicious. Dessert was the banana in a box- so good and perfect for a finishing touch Beverage: Happy Hour! Till 6pm and the drinks were tasty and beautifully decorated.
