Kokkion Monastiraki

Delicious and friendly service! I went three times already and I have only been in Athens a week, love the coffee and Bailey's ice cream!

So far, I've only tried the milk chocolate with 42% cocoa with orange and pepper (amazingly delicious!) at Kokkion, but trust me when I tell you that there are many other wonderful sounding flavors calling out for my attention here too. It's just a short walk from Monasteraki Square where there are plenty of other ice cream places. Pass them by, and try this very special place. You won't regret it!

I don’t understand how they don’t have a 5 star rating. Absolutely delicious ice cream! We had the raw almond and tonka bean, the chocolate and the Kaimaki. All were insanely good, especially the Kaimaki. You can taste the high quality ingredients!

Tried out Kokkion for ice cream. They had two dozen flavours including a few unique ones (such as bitter chocolate passionfruit). Scoops are 2,90€ (1 flavor), 4,80€ (2 flavors) or 6,00€ (3 flavors). Sampled a few flavors. - 3 flavors (6,00€) - pistachio (0,40€ extra), tangerine ginger and peach apricot rosemary. Scoops were generous and refreshing

This was the best ice cream shop we visited in Athens (and we tried many)! The ladies running the shop were so kind and patient with us and our kids. The flavors were unique and everything we sampled was delicious. I love that there were Greek flavors along side more common flavors. We’ve been home a few weeks now and still think about this place. We recommended it to friends who were visiting Athens the following week and they also loved Kokkion.

This hole in the wall has amazing ice cream - perfect texture, exciting flavours, and each flavour is on point with no artificial flavours. Best ice cream in the neighborhood and worth a visit. Ice cream pictured here is chocolate passionfruit!

Super delicious little ice cream parlour with really special flavours! All handmade and all really tasty. We had each 2 scoops in a cup and all 4 different flavours we chose were unique and amazing. You can choose from traditional ice cream to fruity sorbets. Pistachio and the orange-ginger sorbet were our favourites. Super yummy!
