KOKO BAY

We visited this place while vacationing from Southern California, and it was exactly what we hoped for. Nestled along the Persian Gulf, the spot offered a global menu, good drinks, and the perfect ambiance. We especially enjoyed having hookah by the water. On a quiet Tuesday night, the friendly service and laid-back beach vibe made it a highlight. We’d absolutely return!

I would give max points for the ambiance, after all it's on Palm Jumeirah overlooking JBR. However, I was really disappointed with the food quality. I found the non-veg items were made from frozen chicken or fish, not fresh as should have been to justify the high prices. However, veg items were good. Their mocktails are fantastic and cheesecakes awesome. Ample parking downstairs which is free for 3 hours (remember to have your car plate validated at the exit). Speaking of service, from greeting staff to serving ones, all came with a smile and a lot of hospitality.

The food was decent. Nice, beachy vibe for lunch. Good music. We didn’t have a reservation and were able to snag a table immediately. The hummus dips were my favorite dish we tried. The zaatar chips it came with, I still dream about. Service wasn’t great. It took 15 minutes before we were able to get someone to stop at our table just to order water. After sitting down, we noticed just how gross the seating was. It wasn’t cleaned after the last guests and was really unpleasant to see while trying to enjoy a meal.

Koko Bay offers a lovely breakfast experience in a beautiful, pet-friendly setting. The overall atmosphere and hospitality were great, making it a pleasant morning visit. While the scrambled eggs weren’t the best I've had, and the espresso coffee beans could use improvement, the rest of the meal was enjoyable. The breakfast menu is limited in variety, but it’s still a nice spot to relax and unwind with your furry friend.

Great vibes and amazing drinks! Special shoutout to Majid, one of the crew, who served us so well. Super attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. Will definitely come back! Thank you for giving us a blanket because our outfit was not ready for this place.🙂

Came here yesterday and honestly had to come back today again solely because of the service . That alone says a lot. Of course, the place itself is great and there are so many options around this area to try, but I deliberately chose Koko Bay again because the experience was just that good. Warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming service made the visit stand out, on top of the nice atmosphere and food. Big thanks to Kevin for making it such a memorable stop. Will definitely be returning!

Celebrating New Year’s Eve at koko bay is one of the best experiences I had! To sum up my whole experience- it’s life changing!!!! I really enjoyed the music and the dj are exceptional! The drinks are amazing ! The shows and countdown are spectacular ! The location is really accessible and very convenient! it’s one of the books for 2026! I really can’t wait to be back and experience another one of a kind shows & music in koko bay in the heart of palm jumeirah! 💓💓💓💓
