From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a great deal of hospitality. The room was at the far back on the right side and worked well for us. The bed was comfy, the room was spacious enough, and clean. The bathroom was big and there was even a fridge to store drinks, which included complimentary water every day. The bathroom had a fan and some hangers, so we were able to wash and hang clothes, a necessity for us. The shower had warm water and consistent water (we hear some hostels did not). The wifi was free and worked decently well.||||The location was perfect as we could walk to places to eat, temples, and the night market very easily. Also it made it easy to ask drivers to drop you at the 3 Kings Monument since they know where that is. Although we were there during the end of Loy Krathong, it still did not feel busy where the inn is tucked away.||||We love cats probably as much as the owners do and so it made being away from our own more manageable. They just hangout in the gardens, are super friendly, and very well taken care of.||||The owners went above and beyond and that makes everything worth it. Chiang Mai was our first stop in Thailand so the whole experience was very new. We felt more like we were visiting family as they were always willing to chat and find out how our day was. Anything that we needed they could help with. Whether it was writing down locations in Thai for the Tuk Tuk driver, helping us with how much we should pay, or arranging tours the night before and making sure we were having fun.||||The price was extremely reasonable and all in all we could not have asked for a better start to our trip. Thank you Koko Palm Inn!
