I stayed at Kokopelli Lodge for a few nights on my most recent trip to Moab. Was referred here by a friend, and am so glad I tried this place out!
Before arriving, I made my reservation on the phone with a really nice woman who runs the group of lodgings. We talked a lot about our dogs and she was super friendly.
When we arrived, she was there in the office to greet me and my dog, along with two of her own! She was very helpful, showed us the little yard area, and the hot tub, and also talked about recycling. Since I had been coming to Moab for many years, she asked if I needed any recommendations for hiking or dining, but I told her I was fine and had places in mind to visit.
I loved that the rooms are cozy, and remodeled 50's style rooms! They were very clean, and were perfect for one or two people and a dog or two. The rooms had everything I was looking for when I come to Moab...a clean and comfy bed, shower, nice sink, and great location!
The room I was in had a refrigerator, microwave, and a tv, of which I did not use, but were there if you wish to use them.
The only drawback was that the people in the hot tub in the property behind the Kokopelli Lodge can be very noisy, and you can hear their conversations at night. However, that usually stops by about 9 PM, which was totally fine. I stayed in room 5, and while I did not hear my neighbors in room 4 (which changed both nights I was there,) the different people in room 6 were very audible. I think the rooms are set up a bit differently, and some people just talk more than others. However, after an amazing day of Moab adventures, I was able to sleep in and relax, which is soooo nice when you are on vacation here!
I cannot wait to come back!
