Kokotel Bangkok Surawong

The hotel is in the city center, convenient, clean, and the front desk staff are good.Clean and the beds were very good. The room was soundproof. The breakfast was delicious. I recommend this place and will definitely come back again.

I’m super impressed with this place! The room was super clean, smelled fresh, and the air-con was perfectly cool , honestly feels like a brand-new hotel. The bed is amazingly soft, and all the pillows are super comfy! I’ve stayed at so many hotels and always had issues with the bed or pillows, but this one is definitely No.1 the coziest place ever!👍🏻 I also love that they provide glass bottles for refilling clean drinking water 🍶 such a cute and eco-friendly idea. Everything was perfect, totally 10/10! 🫶🏻 If I ever come to Bangkok again, I’ll 100% stay here. Great service and super lovely vibes! 💖

actual room does not match the photos on google. I felt like i was in a jail, cramped and couldn't move. The shower was not great, the bed so so, and it was not well cleaned. Even if it is cheaper it is not a good value. There is no coffee provided in the room, and you have to get your own water. But there is no lighting, I did not sleep well I left and did not extend my stay. Just pay extra for a better experience and sleep.

I had two short stays here. On arrival the staff were friendly and helpful. Check in was done in a matter of minutes. The rooms are small but comfortable enough although the loo, shower and wash hand basin are each in a separate little cubicles. The location is good as the hotel is close to many bars and restaurants.

Very good and cozy stay at a very prime and central location. Had a wonderful stay. The hotel is walkable distance from Mariamman Temple Bangkok and with easy access distance from all modes like Bus, MRT, BTS and airport rail link, you can either walk or take bike taxi for the rate of around 50Baht. Food was good but less vegan option is my only suggestion. Services and staff are great, the always smiling and friendly staff happy to help with any issues. I think in my years of travel this is the first hotel I am coming across where they have washing machines and dryer as a service, for 50 Baht you can wash and dry your days of travel clothes which is very very cheap and the best service. Water dispenser is available at each floor, thus the issue of buying water bottles from 7-11 was also solved. I might have saved much from staying at this hotel. Overall had a great stay and definitely enjoyed it. Think Kokotel will be my preferred place of stay for my future trips. Overall it’s value for money. Keep up the great service.

I had a horrible experience with this hotel. I believe the hotels reviews are fake. I had the 4 person room and there’s no space at all. There’s also barely any light to do normal things. I booked for 7 nights, had to switch rooms the 1st night as 2 small roaches came form a corner and they moved us to a different room but there were always small micro bugs crawling around. We tried to suffer, but ultimately we left 2 days early and got a place elsewhere. Staff there is nice and accommodating, but I don’t recommend this place if you’re looking for cleanliness and a place to be with family as it’s impossible. I’m currently waiting for a refund from them for the 2 nights we left, so will update! The only pro to this place is the proximity to IconSiam and Centralworld.

Make sure you stay in the main building. Since the heater dont work in the other one + water pressure was non existent ( 2 rooms on diffrent floors, we moved after 1 night. The main building the shower is fine and the ac works great. The rooms are clean but a bit outdated. The bed is comfy. Happy that the staff took action fast and moved us. Good location in Silom.

We stayed 2 night before traveling back home to Finland. Room was enough quiet to get good sleep, air-con was silent and worked as well. Good location and easy to go everywhere. Breakfast was nice too. Friendly staff and special thanks to lovely Ms. Woonsen in reception who helped us and gave a lot of useful tips where to go in Bangkok. Will come back again.
