KOLLER+KOLLER am Waagplatz - Restaurant & Tagesbar

The restaurant is located near the tourist attractions which is convenient when needing to have a quick bite. Reservation is needed as it is not a big place and gets easily full. The food was not bad but nothing special. The beers were below average . The atmosphere and decoration was nice maybe the best thing the restaurant has. The service was not bad but it could be improved. E.g Maybe a smile when taking orders ?

It was raining and we decided to show up early even though we had reservations. Tried their tomato soup with shrimp. Flavorful with bits of shrimps although a tad salty. We tried their Viennese schnitzel and beef fillet medium roasted. Both were especially the butter parsley potatoes. Sadly we were too full to try their apple strudel.

The food we received showed no effort. See the pictures: a salad from the supermarket bag and 5 not properly cooked raviolis, 20 euros. My salad was with crayfish was minimal, after I asked if the size was appropriate for a main course, maybe for Kate Moss, not for me. Flavours ok, nothing exquisite. Risotto was ok, not proper Italian risotto, again side dish, just salad from a bag. The service was not good, took ages to get the attention of the waiters, I had to go myself to ask for the coffee, nobody showed up. Then 3 out of the 4 coffees were not what we had ordered… The interior… not my cup of tea. Based on my experience, I would not recommend coming here.

Perfect! The Food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the duck and my husband had the Wiener Schnitzel they were both wickedly delicious and tender. The servings were plentiful— I had 2 pieces of juicy meaty duck legs! Service was ok as we arrived in the midst of the lunch rush, so it was quite busy. Overall, we loved it!

Such a delight and the chilled cucumber soup was divine. The staff were friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcomed our two mongrels. Every mouthful was delicious and the patio was the perfect place to escape today’s heat.

We was had Risotto and Caesar salad Taste was ok but after we eat salad more than a half we find the vegetables is not clean something black and dirty on vegetables so we tell the staff but we don’t want more so we said it’s ok. Staff just take salad back and say nothing ,not say apologize or anything. I think cleanliness is important for restaurants this should not happen. Restaurants look so good with high prices Salad was 24 euros this the most expensive i at all in my trip. This make me feel disappointed with the quality and hygiene .

Excellent restaurant located just on the Mozart Plaza. Very nice comfortable setting. Attentive waitstaff that attend to you without hovering. An incredible menu. We selected a saddle of lamb (more akin to an exquisite rack of lamb) and roasted duck medallions in a white wine sauce. Each dish done to perfection. Our primary waiter recommended a wine for us that turned out to be well matched to our food selection. Highly recommend either dinner or lunch as the food and ambience are well worth it. One of the best meals we have ever had. Give the place a try. You will be glad you did.

The cuisine is very good. The dessert was a pleasant surprise and final perfect note for the whole dinner. It's a cosy place and wonderful service. ✨ Intimate atmosphere is awesome for having a date!
