Really nice place! The atmosphere was excellent. The place is well located, with a terrace that’s perfect for having a drink or eating outside. The staff were very friendly, but a bit slow. As for the food, very good! Especially recommended for breakfast or brunch.

Top Quality without doubt. Amazing experience as a whole and great food. The staffs there are super friendly and the presentation of the food and the taste of it is top notch. Highly recommended in Antwerp. Avocado toast is a must try.

I had the pleasure of having breakfast here, and it was absolutely delightful! The food was incredibly delicious – fresh ingredients, beautifully presented, and a true treat for the taste buds. The coffee was also a highlight, perfectly brewed and full of flavor. The service was exceptional: super friendly, attentive, and quick – it really made the experience feel special and welcoming. The only minor downside is that the prices are a bit high for the portion sizes. However, this doesn’t take away from the overall fantastic impression, as the quality and ambiance are top-notch.

They serve a very decent cup of coffee. But some of the staff members should be trained to answer basic questions about their products.

Ah, we had a great experience at Kolonel. We walked almost 4kms to come here! And it was totally worth it. The coffee was delicious - we ended up having 2 coffees each! I even bought a bag of Ethiopian beans from them for a friend who owns a coffee shop! The shop is also beautifully designed.

Lovely atmosphere with friendly service! The coffee is amazing and so is the food. We had the Avocado toast and the Okonomiyaki, absolut delish!!!

Best coffee in town! I tried several coffee bars in Antwerp, I am definitely sure about what I claim. My all time favourite is a flat white with oat milk. Delicious roasted taste. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. When hungry, you can pick a slice of cake, a sandwich, toast or salad. They have a nice collection of quality lifestyle magazines. The ideal place to enjoy quietly, read a magazine and talk to a stranger. Lots of love for Kolonel

If you are a tourist and want to try some coffee shop where the locals hang out, then this is the place. Friendly staffs, great ambiance, good cuppa, and absolutely love the cakes! In the summer, they have a spacious front terrace where you can enjoy the sunshines!

A bit difficult to find, but once you're in, you're into it! I like the atmosphere, the coffee, a nice place to spend a quiet afternoon reading!

The best coffee in antwerpen. Location is not the best though. Been there few times. Normally the cupcakes are amazing. Last time the cup cakes were not good and definitely not from the same day. Will not order them again and that's a shame. If everything would have been good as the first few times I would have given the place 4,5 stars.
