Kolonel coffee specialty roastery & bar

I had the pleasure of having breakfast here, and it was absolutely delightful! The food was incredibly delicious – fresh ingredients, beautifully presented, and a true treat for the taste buds. The coffee was also a highlight, perfectly brewed and full of flavor. The service was exceptional: super friendly, attentive, and quick – it really made the experience feel special and welcoming. The only minor downside is that the prices are a bit high for the portion sizes. However, this doesn’t take away from the overall fantastic impression, as the quality and ambiance are top-notch.

Top Quality without doubt. Amazing experience as a whole and great food. The staffs there are super friendly and the presentation of the food and the taste of it is top notch. Highly recommended in Antwerp. Avocado toast is a must try.

Relaxing and cosy atmosphere, coffee is really good and staff was very friendly. They also have a very nice outside area. I however have not tried the food yet

This is a coffee shop located in a relatively quiet area in the south of the city. They have a large indoor space with tables of various sizes. You can find a suitable location here either alone or with friends. And they also have lot of outdoor seats. Needless to say, the quality of coffee is good, and various meals and small sweets are also served here during brunch time.

The atmosphere was great. However the coffee didn’t taste very good. The prices are quite low for the location. So a bit 50/50. You can go and sit outside to enjoy the fresh air and the lovely Zuid, but I’m not sure whether the taste and the staff is worth it.

Ah, we had a great experience at Kolonel. We walked almost 4kms to come here! And it was totally worth it. The coffee was delicious - we ended up having 2 coffees each! I even bought a bag of Ethiopian beans from them for a friend who owns a coffee shop! The shop is also beautifully designed.

Lovely atmosphere with friendly service! The coffee is amazing and so is the food. We had the Avocado toast and the Okonomiyaki, absolut delish!!!

Best coffee in town! I tried several coffee bars in Antwerp, I am definitely sure about what I claim. My all time favourite is a flat white with oat milk. Delicious roasted taste. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. When hungry, you can pick a slice of cake, a sandwich, toast or salad. They have a nice collection of quality lifestyle magazines. The ideal place to enjoy quietly, read a magazine and talk to a stranger. Lots of love for Kolonel
