It’s difficult to overstate the quality and care that chef Hugo puts into the food at his place. My favorite salsas in Dallas in a town that has a lot of great house salsas. Start with brisket “nachos compuestos.” Always incredible seafood specials, too. I recommend you order whatever they recommend the chef is excited about. My favorite neighborhood restaurant.

Just wow! We came on a weeknight so there was no wait, we were actually 1 of only 3 guests there. We sat outside on the patio and it was very nice. Our waitress was AMAZING and recommended drinks that we loved. My eyes were basically bulging out of my head on the first bite. I wish I could remember the names of the dishes, but alas all I have is photos. WILL be back!

We had the pleasure of being at the recent grand reopening of this contemporary Mexican restaurant last night. The night was filled with tons of great menu samples and tremendous cocktails. As you can see, I was able to capture a lot of the excitement in the photos to give you a glimpse of this event. The food was fantastic! Oaxacan traditions and flavors truly shine through. This is definitely not your typical Tex-Mex restaurant but a truly a taste of Mexico. The authentic flavors will wow you and make you feel like your in Mexico. The pan dulce is a super treat to be enjoyed. Pair that with a cup of Mexican coffee and call it breakfast. Now let's talk cocktails. Ahhh the drinks..they truly made me happy. We had several rounds of the Tamarind Margarita and the seasonal Strawberry Watermelon Margarita. Both of these cocktails were a 10! They bar is fast at delivering the drinks and the bartenders make the atmosphere fun. Breakfast starts at 7am daily and the restaurant runs till 10pm. Stop in and enjoy. Pretty good mexican food but nothing special enough to justify the -$18 to 24 plates. Drinks were tasty and strong, churros were mediocre and the hot chocolate sauce was really not very good.

Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the food here. The service was awesome though! I’ll give it another try and come for brunch, but don’t be fooled by the cheap tacos on taco Tuesday. They’re so underwhelming. On the other hand the salmon was delicious.

Great food in a good location!! The only downside was the wait staff was RELENTLESS in trying to upsell their more expensive margs and dishes. They even tried to get us to buy tequila shots numerous times... kinda got annoying but still 4 stars for the food and atmosphere!

The atmosphere was good, food was decent. We also ordered a carafe filled with mimosas, it tasted as is if orange juice was fermented (spoiled).

One of my absolute favorite upscale Mexican restaurants. Best drink is the Berry Gin. I know I know weird to drink gin at a Mexican restaurant, but it has tequila infused blackberry's and the drink is just overall superb. Favorite food item is the Cochinita Pibil!
