Fabulous island and resort. Clean and perfectly kept pool, facilities and gardens. All the staff work tirelessly and are always happy and welcoming. Villas are a good size and well looked after - ours was cleaned every day within 30 mins of going for breakfast. Outside bathrooms are fun and the secluded bit of beach and sun beds were great. Food was amazing - every mealtime had great choices and everything was always fresh - 5 stars every time - the evening naan bread station was the best! Staff were all amazing - our waiter Kaleem was fabulous and always looked after us. The Aqua al a carte restaurant was also great and worth going to. Don’t get too excited about seeing dolphins - we paid for 2 boat trips and caught a tiny glimpse of one, so a bit disappointing. Lovely massage at the spa but no other indoor facilities there. The 5.8 restaurant was a great experience, but incredibly overpriced, so only go if you’re happy to spend an extra £150 on a bottle of wine, on top of the menu. Most areas and pathways on the island are full sand so only take shoes that you are happy to get dusty! Or use the flip flops gifted in your room, which is a lovely touch. Dress code is casual, so don’t worry about wearing dresses or long trousers. Everything is low key and relaxed, which suited us fine - a wonderful 9 nights and we would highly recommend. We would love to go back one day 😊.
