Fabulous island and resort. Clean and perfectly kept pool, facilities and gardens. All the staff work tirelessly and are always happy and welcoming. Villas are a good size and well looked after - ours was cleaned every day within 30 mins of going for breakfast. Outside bathrooms are fun and the secluded bit of beach and sun beds were great. Food was amazing - every mealtime had great choices and everything was always fresh - 5 stars every time - the evening naan bread station was the best! Staff were all amazing - our waiter Kaleem was fabulous and always looked after us. The Aqua al a carte restaurant was also great and worth going to. Don’t get too excited about seeing dolphins - we paid for 2 boat trips and caught a tiny glimpse of one, so a bit disappointing. Lovely massage at the spa but no other indoor facilities there. The 5.8 restaurant was a great experience, but incredibly overpriced, so only go if you’re happy to spend an extra £150 on a bottle of wine, on top of the menu. Most areas and pathways on the island are full sand so only take shoes that you are happy to get dusty! Or use the flip flops gifted in your room, which is a lovely touch. Dress code is casual, so don’t worry about wearing dresses or long trousers. Everything is low key and relaxed, which suited us fine - a wonderful 9 nights and we would highly recommend. We would love to go back one day 😊.

We have just returned from our 11th visit and our 12th is already booked so I think that says it all. |The island is an oasis of rustic charm which offers beautiful beaches with perfect peace and tranquility. Hari and Saeed looked after our room and kept use amused with their brilliant towel art. Bed linen and towels are immaculate and the room is serviced twice a day. |The staff are just amazing lead by the management team of Madhah , Bishan and Mohamed who regularly check in to see that your holiday is going to plan. |A big thank you to Haazim who took photos for us as we passed through |reception in the evenings and to Abu our own ‘champion’ who has looked after us on our last 3 visits and we hope to make it a 4th next April. ||The Thundi Bar offers a perfect place to watch the sunset and the Kandu Bar is perfect for the after dinner entertainment. Sanwar is a total star welcoming everyone as are ALL the staff. The cocktails and the mocktails are well worth a try. |The food in the Falhu restaurant is delicious with choices to suit all tastes.|Our old friend Riza, who we have known for 19 years was there to welcome us and a big thank you to Kaleem for looking after us this year. ||This island offers a perfect getaway for those who just want to relax but if you are more adventurous then the dive centre offers trips to suit all abilities.

We had a fantastic stay at Komandoo. This adult-only resort is beautiful and offers everything you need for a relaxing vacation. |We stayed in an overwater villa and had lots of fish visit every day.|The staff was also super friendly and helpful!|Faisal kept our room spotless, Jumaan and Dickshana fulfilled every wish we had at the restaurant, Hazeem gave us a warm welcome and sendoff. The chef and sous chef helped me stay safe with my food allergies. And the food was incredible. Hard to believe it was a buffet - everything was fresh and delicious.|I also loved that the all inclusive package included a photoshoot and a dinner at Aqua.|100% recommend this resort

A recent nine day (ten night) stay at Komandoo was a remarkable experience. The staff, known as ‘champions’, were efficient and attentive, and the island was an oasis of tranquility. |The resort has excellent facilities, with snorkelling on the reef being a particular highlight. The island is for couples (no children), with privacy and a relaxed dress code all contributing to a relaxing and exclusive holiday.

We loved everything about our stay at Komandoo! The Beach Bungalow, the quiet and beautiful beach, the wonderful snorkeling (the house reef is really nice with lots of fish, sharks and turtles) and the great food. Also the staff was amazing and so welcoming, a special thanks to Vishan and Hari - you do an amazing job!|We really hope to be back soon!!

We enjoyed our recent stay on Komandoo very much: lush tropical island, nice staff (real Champions!), delicious food, great dive team and dive spots nearby but also nice snorkelling at the housereef. I would say the perfect vacation. Thank you very much for having us and having met all our expectations!

We came here mid November and unfortunately the weather wasn’t too good but that’s the way things are now.|I understand there are lots of repeat guests to Komandoo but we won’t be one of them. |GOOD POINTS|Staff are amazing and can’t do enough for you, they made our holiday|I had to visit the onsite Doctor whilst here and found him very helpful.|Pool area was good, comfy sun loungers and drinks service.|Good gently shelving beach too.|Adults only|Our room boy kept our room immaculate |The bed was amazing though and so comfy|AQUA restaurant was great and ate there twice|Breakfasts were very good with plenty of choice|Had 2 lovely meals in The Aqua restaurant which are included in the AI package|The Saxophonist was excellent and really enjoyed those evenings||NOT SO GOOD POINTS|We were given a voucher each for a massage as a goodwill gesture because of a generator being delivered via the beach at 5am one morning and causing some noise.|Unfortunately after this there was a sand dredger with the diesel engine running nearly all day virtually opposite our room (Starfish 2), so not really very peaceful.|Our room badly needed updating and although we paid extra for a Premium Jacuzzi beach villa the mattress next to the jacuzzi needed to be renewed!!|Only one bar on the island (Kandu) that stayed open until late. This was a shame as sometimes it would have been nice to sit in the Thundi bay away from everything in the evenings but this closed at 8pm.|No bar snacks unless you paid for them (should be included in the AI package)|The restaurant buffet in the evenings was hit & miss. Had the roast lamb a couple of times and it was inedible due to being just fat and gristle but the best meal was the Naan bread and chicken/beef tikka which you got from outside the main restaurant. |I found that there were too many things you had to pay extra for that should have been included in the AI package.|The cocktails apart from a few weren’t good either.||SUMMARY|This was our 5th trip to the Maldives, the last one being Constance Moofushi in September 2024 and far superior with premium drinks and wine included. Lovely bar food at lunchtimes instead of going in to the restaurant.
