Komaneka at Rasa Sayang

My stay at Komaneka at Rasa Sayang was exceptional from beginning to end. The warm, welcoming atmosphere truly sets this hotel apart. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and attentive especially Ode who checked us in and Juhen—they greeted me with genuine smiles every day and were always ready to help with anything I needed, from arranging transportation to sharing thoughtful local tips. The catering team led by Remi also deserves special mention. Breakfast each morning was delicious and beautifully presented, with plenty of variety and a personal touch. Afternoon tea was another highlight, offering a relaxing break with tasty treats and consistently wonderful service. One of the most memorable parts of my stay was the outstanding romantic dinner I had booked. The setting was intimate and beautifully arranged, creating the perfect atmosphere. The food was exceptional, and the staff’s attention to detail made the evening truly unforgettable. Overall, Komaneka at Rasa Sayang offers not just accommodation but an experience filled with warmth and thoughtful hospitality. The reception team, catering staff, and the unforgettable romantic dinner made my stay truly special. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bali.

An absolute jewel!! We are from the Uk and they don’t have many Uk people stay here mostly its Asian. But it’s so so good. The people and staff at the hotel couldn’t do enough to make sure the stay was perfect. ||The room was quiet, peaceful and absolutely spotless. The beds were really comfy and balcony was cute. ||The food was delicious and you had the option of unlimited iced tea and a la carte and some days there was a buffet of the same foods - it was well covered, staff were super attentive, it was clean and no bugs. ||There was a free afternoon tea Balinese style, but that also meant an hour of free iced tea and coffees. And some snacks.||The hotel is in an excellent location, it’s just off monkey Forest Road and next to a Starbucks and opposite a fantastic ice cream shop and some great local restaurants. We walked all of Ubud and it was about a 20 min walk to the palace and the show. Some times I e got a grab taxi back and it was a couple of pounds. ||We didn’t go in the pool; it looks stunning but it wasn’t heated. The view was lovely and it was an infinity pool - it’s better than the hotel photographs. ||There was a free yoga class every day too. If you need it the hotel have a nice car for trips and airport runs. ||The best thing though was it was so clean and comfortable, we slept so well with the most enormous bathroom and huge bath which we didn’t use. ||There is a laundry place as you turn right outside about 5 mins. ||The staff just cannot do enough - it was one of the best hotels we stayed at on our Bali trip. I highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel staff are friendly and welcoming, very helpful as well. Some comments would be the variety at breakfast, its mostly sweets and baked desserts, i feel like there needs to be any type of cheeses, vegetables or some savory items. Also the items are mainly local foods, which does not necessarily go all the time with international guests, so its always good to have some items that would be fitting for everyone. For cleanliness, i wish the room is as more cleaned than organized, I had the issue of ants because of the jungle but they responded fast. Other than that, it was a great stay, spacious room and great staff, as well as location!

What a great resort centrally located within walking distance of all the shops, markets and eateries. Fantastic staff especially Rennie who attended to all our culinary needs. Complimentary afternoon tea was such a great touch. The breakfast was good but the secret was asking for some al a carte items which they happily obliged. The beauty of this resort is that it's right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Ubud yet when you enter you feel like you are in an oasis of calm. Keep up the good work guys 👍🏽

We had a fabulous few days here. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The bedroom|was huge (especially the bathroom!) and beautifully decorated. The infinity pool surrounded by trees is stunning and although not huge, it never felt crowded. |The hotel is situated right in the heart of Ubud but really quiet as soon as you turn into the hotel entrance. |We booked a day trip through the hotel and would highly recommend doing so. August was the perfect guide - he asked what we wanted to see, made helpful suggestions and was extremely knowledgeable. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide!

The rooms are very large and spacious, with a lovely bathroom including a large bath tub. We could hear the noise from the local bars until 12/1 every night but the staff did offer to switch our room (which might have helped). The hotel is very well located and can walk to most places in central Ubud within 15 minutes. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and hospitable. I didn't go in the pool but it looked nice and clean, with a lovely jungle view. The afternoon tea and free yoga are also a good touch. The main downside was the breakfast which was very pool in quality and very poor in choice. I would otherwise mark the hotel as 5 star but the 2 star breakfast brings it down for me.

The hotel was nice overall. I liked the staff — they were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, and the location was good. The only downside is that it’s close to a live music pub, so it can get noisy at night. If you’re a light sleeper, it might bother you. When I mentioned it to the staff, they offered to change my room, which shows how good their service is. I just didn’t bother to move. The other thing is the breakfast — it’s a bit limited in variety. But make sure to try the herbal tea, it was really good. Also, the free yoga class they offer was a lovely bonus.

Excellent stay at the heart of Ubud, but still very quiet. The room was comfortable with many facilities, the staff wars friendly and the view to the jungle mpressive. Very close restaurants and the most important sightseeings of Ubud . Don't forget to have a thai massage!
