Kometen Brood & Cafe

I was visiting Amsterdam from Colorado, USA last week and some friends and I stumbled across this spot for breakfast. On our 5 day trip this was by far the best place we had eaten at the entire trip. The vibes and aesthetic of this cafe were 10/10! The sourdough bread here was some of the best bread I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating, the fried eggs were perfectly cooked, and the Stolwijker cheese was the perfect touch to making one of the most delicious meals with my time in Amsterdam. 11/10 highly recommend!

One of my new favorites spots for lunch in Noord! You can sit outside on the terrace in the sun, magnificent! The food is high quality with unique combinations such as the mushroom toast with granola topping. They are also selling whole loafs of bread which are great to take home. The prices are very reasonable. Recommended for sure!

Nice spot to relax with a good atmosphere. We tried the almond croissant and the raspberry croissant—both were delicious and freshly made. We also ordered a flat white and an iced latte macchiato, but unfortunately, the coffee didn’t quite live up to the same standard. Worth a visit for the pastries, but not the best place if you’re after a great cup of coffee

Fantastic place for an early Sunday breakfast. I ordered the Kometen Breakfast and the bread was fantastic, the croissant beautiful and tasty, as was the coffee. The staff is very friendly and it’s nice to see the bakery itself. All in all: great place!

Amazing bakery in the middle of the beautiful NDSM area in noord. If you’re into pastries, this is your spot, their Pain Au Chocolate the best in town with that incredible mix of crunchiness and flavor, I gotta day this is better than in France! Amazing people serving and very friendly :)

One of my favourite places for breakfast in Amsterdam, really nice, spacious terrace where you can enjoy the sun! Great selection for breakfast: high quality bread, croissants, scrambled eggs, yoghurt and more! Friendly and welcoming staff!

This is my favourite bakery and cafe. It all started as a hobby bakery from the house of owner Lard, during corona, it quickly grew into a popular Noord staple for locals then grew into the amazing ambitious cafe it is today, with a full bakery production unit. It’s always welcoming and create delicious lunches and pastries paired with great coffee and always adding to the menu. A must try!

Massive windows, industrial charm, and a packed house on a weekday. Kometen Café brings serious brunch vibes with Stolwijker cheese, fresh sourdough, and bold pairings like burrata with blood orange. Don’t skip the toasties. Solid spot for food and people-watching.
