Magical nostalgic decor, with good food options and one of the most popular spots to try the full range of Raki(s). The place has unlimited space, indoor, terrace, backyard, out front, each spot having different vibes

Such a unique spot — part café, part museum, part time capsule. Every corner is filled with objects from Albania’s communist past: vintage TVs, radios, uniforms, posters, traditional clothes. The atmosphere is kooky and nostalgic, the raki selection is huge, and the music was good.

We came here after many recommendations from friends, and we were not disappointed! Great food, drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere—you can really feel there at home. We were lucky to visit when they offered complimentary appetizers, which were amazing. We’ll definitely be back! 😊

The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish I tried was delicious, making for a perfect start to the day. The atmosphere is charming, with a cozy and authentic feel that adds to the overall experience. The service was friendly and attentive, making sure everything was just right.

Cool spot but the service is really bad here - the wait staff are constantly chatting and don’t pick up on cues to come serve the guests. Bureka was decent but served cold. More of a vibes spot than anything.

An oasis in the city. This bohemian kaleidoscope brings forth a amalgamation of desert plants, sum traps and tribal like art work hand painted along the walls and corridors. There is an overwhelming choice of drinks and a soothing sound track to keep you in your seat. The service is excellent; both timely and welcoming. This is a must visit location in Tirana. Although we did not eat the menu is bustling with local cuisine in addition to more familiar dishes. A place I would like to eat in.

Komiteti Bar in Tirana is an absolute gem for anyone looking to experience authentic Albanian culture in a cozy and nostalgic setting. From the moment you step inside, makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a living museum. The drink selection is outstanding, especially the variety of raki each with unique flavors sourced from different regions of Albania. I really enjoyed even the food at Komiteti Bar. PS: Loved the Jolanda cocktail!! 🫠 The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend the best drinks, foods or share stories about the history behind the decor. If you’re in Tirana, this place is a must visit!!! Highly recommended!😍

Komiteti Bar in Tiranë is a charming spot known for its eclectic decor and cozy atmosphere. While it’s a great place to soak up some retro vibes and enjoy a coffee, it isn’t particularly vegan-friendly when it comes to food. However, there are a couple of vegan options that make it worth considering if you’re in the area. The menu includes stuffed vine leaves, a traditional dish that is naturally vegan and pleasantly savory. The portion is small but flavorful, with a satisfying balance of herbs and tangy notes. The other option is vegan tacos, a more modern choice with a decent mix of fresh and hearty ingredients. Unfortunately, these tacos might not impress a seasoned vegan diner—they’re simple and could use a bit more creativity or seasoning to stand out. On the brighter side, Komiteti excels in offering a range of vegan-friendly drinks. Their vegan cappuccinos and hot chocolates are a highlight, prepared with plant-based milks. These beverages complement the bar’s inviting ambiance perfectly and make it an excellent place to relax or catch up with friends. Overall, while Komiteti Bar isn’t a vegan haven, it provides a couple of decent food options and a great range of drinks. If you’re vegan and visiting, think of it more as a spot to enjoy the atmosphere with a good cup of coffee rather than a full dining experience.
