Hotel Komune and Beach Club Bali

We spent a week at the Komune Hotel in Bali. Where to start…The grounds are absolutely beautiful and there is nothing like doing yoga in the health hub as the sun rises. We are on a trip with our local gym. The food was top quality, there were many choices and it was all delicious. The gym is well equipped and the poolside very relaxing after a workout. We booked transport to go and visit a cooking school in a private home and to another local beach. It was all very easy and ran smooth. The staff are all friendly and engaging but our favourite was Ari who has the coffee hub near reception. He is friendly, had some good conversation and he makes THE best coffee on site.

This place is an oasis. We love it more every time we visit. Everything is thought of and works perfectly. Instant relaxation as soon as you drive through the gate. We had our wedding here this year and it was unbelievable. From start to finish, everything was easy and so organised. They are true professionals and the best in the business. They even stopped the rain for us! 😉 I’m sure of it. If you’re considering Komune for your wedding, you won’t be disappointed.

We loved our family stay at Hotel Komune in Keramas. We stayed in a family room, which is actually two interconnecting rooms — a perfect setup for giving us space from the kids but still being close by. The rooms are surrounded by beautiful gardens and just a short stroll to the kids’ play area. The kids’ area is super impressive. Our children loved visiting the chickens and borrowing scooters to zoom around the skate bowl. There’s also a flying fox and heaps of play equipment to keep them entertained. Every single staff member we met was friendly, kind and helpful. The service around the pool was next level — the staff even remembered my coffee order each morning! The pool area itself is incredible, with plenty of shade umbrellas and comfy daybeds. The kids could swim or run around doing cartwheels on the lawn. It’s such a kid-friendly space. One of the highlights is that the resort sits right in front of the Keramas surf break. My husband had a ball surfing there during our stay. The food was consistently delicious with great options for kids too. While food and drinks are definitely more expensive than other places in Bali, the quality made it well worth it. Plus, they show a movie on the lawn every night for the kids, which was such a nice way to wind down after busy days. Overall, Hotel Komune is incredibly family-friendly, and we can’t wait to come back again.

My husband and I held our wedding ceremony and reception at Hotel Komune and Beach Club Bali on 3 July 2025. It was the best decision that we had made for our wedding! We cannot fault a single thing, not even in the slightest! The staff at Komune are absolutely wonderful, caring, respectful, kind, generous, friendly, considerate and professional. They absolutely know what they are doing when it comes to weddings! We received numerous compliments for the wedding and especially for the food! Compliments to the Chef and his staff! A very special and heartfelt thank you to Dewa who made Komune feel like a home for us. Dewa went above and beyond to make sure that we got everything we wanted. He made sure everything was special for us, not only on the wedding day but for the whole time we stayed at Komune. Thank you also to Nanik, Anta, Suangga and Kylie. You are all absolutely wonderful people. Komune is a place that you do not want to leave because it provides everything you need in the same location. It is a marvellous place. We have immense gratitude towards Komune and all the staff for making our wedding a memorable and magical one!

Hotel Komune was AMAZING! I was just there for a yoga retreat. Worth every bit of what we paid. Delicious food and drinks menus, with something for everyone. Incredible yoga/pilates and workout locations with views for days. Beautiful pools and scenery. A self-contained sanctuary. But the staff are second to none - so generous, so helpful - for example, they went out of their way to help us get to the airport on time when the external transport we booked fell through. They didn’t need to go above and beyond but they did, and that kindness will always be remembered. I cannot wait to go back with my family so my son can try the Free Range Kids Club! Beautiful experience!!

We recently had the most amazing stay at Komune Beach Resort, Keramas. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we felt completely relaxed and at ease. The atmosphere is serene, welcoming, and truly special. The staff were incredible – Desak, Tari and every single person we met was warm, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality really made our stay unforgettable. We were lucky enough to celebrate our 10-year wedding anniversary during our time at Komune, and the resort went above and beyond to make it magical. They organised a beautiful private dinner for us with amazing food, stunning floral arrangements, and thoughtful signage for our family. A special shoutout to Agus and his band, who serenaded us and made the evening so memorable – it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Our kids also had a blast! Our 4-year-old loved the kids club, and there were plenty of fun activities to keep our 10 and 8-year-olds happy and entertained. It’s the perfect resort for families looking for both relaxation and adventure. We highly recommend Komune to anyone looking for a beautiful beachside escape – whether you’re celebrating something special or just want to unwind. We will definitely be back.

Amazing location and beautiful resort. We had the best time staying at Komune for 6 nights. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The kids had such a great holiday! Plenty to do for everyone from surfing, relaxing and hitting the gym to kids having their best time at kids club! Everything was perfect! Special mention to Agus for his services! I’ve visited and stayed at HK 3 years in a row and will continue to stay whenever I go to Bali. The staff, food and facilities are all 5 STARS. I like a balance of movement in the form of a sweat session and also some yoga or Pilates and the trainers/instructors are accommodating, friendly and so good at what they do. I was lucky enough to be able to experience the newly and beautifully built recovery room which included a cold plunge and sauna which was is the icing on the cake - HK has everything. The food, juices, smoothies and cocktails have never disappointed and the services in the treatment room (you can get yourself a four hand massage!!) are out of this world. The pool areas offer something different in both spaces with quiet time at the adults only pool and cool chillled vibes at the beach club which overlooks the surf. The hotel runs like a well oiled machine and there is nothing that the staff won’t do for you. They’re all so lovely, accommodating and genuinely happy to see you. This hotel really has it all.
