We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful vacation home! Our family of 6 plus a baby felt completely comfortable and at home from the moment we arrived. The house is spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated—truly even more stunning in person. The floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors were one of our favorite features, providing unobstructed views of the ocean and breathtaking sunsets each evening. We made it a point to be home every night just to watch the sky light up—and one night, we even caught fireworks from the lanai! The pool and hot tub were a huge hit with everyone, offering both fun and relaxation after a day of exploring the island. This home had everything we needed and more for a memorable family trip. We can’t recommend it enough—10/10 experience!

Beautiful apartment, directly in the heart of Kailua Kona, stuffed with all you need for a perfect holiday - within it and for beach days. 2 master bedrooms, and another bathroom on top. Parking lot with 2 spaces for a big car (Jeep Wagoneer). Communication with Kona Coast Vacations was always very fast and they really care about their guests (eg Tsunami instructions and updates were very helpful for us) Fully recommendation!

Our stay was awesome. I-4 is a nice quiet end condo and the morning views were outstanding. We always had coffee in the morning and just outside listening to the birds and the smell of the flowers before the rest of the crew woke up. Maja was outstanding. She was very professional, courteous and always made sure our needs were met. The overall staff were great. Definitely a return stay for sure when we return home again to visit family and friends.

Kona Coast Vacations has been, by far, the best short-term rental host we’ve ever experienced. Everything about our stay was professional, timely, and accurate. Their communication is outstanding. We felt well taken care of from start to finish and truly appreciate their proactive support and hospitality. We’ll absolutely be recommending Kona Coast Vacations to others and look forward to booking with them again in the future.

We loved our stay at this condo (2301)! The condo itself is beautiful but the view exceeded any expectation we had!!! We were able to watch whales from the lanai each day. The condo faces west so you have a great view for sunset but it gets really bright and quite warm when the sun starts setting. However there are shades on the lanai that you can roll down to shade the sun and still enjoy the lanai. There weren’t a lot of places to eat or things to do right around the condo but we really enjoy the serenity. There are eating places and entertainment about 10-15 minutes away in Kona. Clover & Mug is a coffee shop less than 5 minutes from the condo that serves beverages and sandwiches. There is also a grocery in the same shopping center. Overall this is our favorite condo on the island!! Thank you for sharing :)

Kailua Kona did not disappoint. From the time we stepped off the plane until we left, we had a great vacation. Kona Coast Vacations made our vacation seamless. Communication was great, David, our concierge made great recommendations. We have stayed in many vacation homes over the years, this was the best equipped homes. There were several places to gather, but also several to enjoy some alone time. We enjoyed the several fruit trees on the property and the sunsets were worth the wait every night. The location of the property made it convenient to get to wherever you wanted to go or whatever you wanted to do. Thank you Kona Coast vacations.

We researched which condos we wanted using VBRO and then went straight to the management company itself that rented out the condos so we could support a local business. I'm so glad we did--Kona Coast Vacations was attentive, answered questions quickly, and the condo was perfect. It had everything we needed (kitchen utensils, pans, beach gears), the view was spectacular (perfect for peaceful mornings and amazing sunsets), and we so appreciated being able to add extra time to the stay so we wouldn't have to drag our luggage around for twelve hours while waiting for our flights. We would definitely stay here again.

We’ve stayed in Casa de Emdeko #318 several times over the last few years as it’s our favorite regarding location, price, and layout among all the units in Casa. We always look forward to sitting on the lanai and enjoying the view and the sounds of the ocean and the birds. And we also much appreciate having the additional half-bath. While Kona Coast Vacations has been very diligent every time in helping us, sometimes going above and beyond to accommodate our needs, we’ve noticed over time that the unit has been increasingly neglected by the owner regarding furnishings and upkeep. In our last visit in early September 2025 we were troubled by, among others, 3 owner controlled items that Kona Coast could not help us with: #1 The light outside of the front door was not working which made it very hard at night to see the lock pad to open the door. Changing the bulb didn’t fix the problem. Kona Coast provided a little flashlight hung from the door handle which did help a lot, but required two free hands to open the door. #2 The WIFI only covered the front room, with no coverage in the bedroom or the bathrooms, including the bedroom tv. #3 The living room television, while being a flat panel tv, is very old and is not capable of using any streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, or Prime video. While we were viewing Netflix in the previous year’s visit it stopped working and informed us that Netflix no longer supported the hardware. We had hoped that in the year’s time between visits the issue would have been resolved with an updated tv, but we were disappointed to find it hadn’t been. While the owners are somewhat negligent in keeping the place updated, there are many pluses to staying in this condo, including it’s location on Ali’i Drive, the beauty of the otherwise well-maintained Casa De Emdeko complex, it’s ocean front location, the gated entrances, the convenience store located next-door, etc. For those wanting nothing more than a clean, relatively inexpensive, well located place without expecting any online entertainment, this place works just fine.

We recently returned from a week in Waialoka Colony Villas on the Big Island, which was hosted by Kona Coat Vacations. I booked the villa on the VRBO platform and received excellent customer service from David, the concierge. While we chose not to book any activities through them, Kona Coast did a great job of communicating and providing instructions for the villa property and its amenities. The villa itself was amazing, as was the property. I can't speak for the other units in the complex, but my guess is they are generally very nice. The unit itself is a bit tough to find (Apple and Google maps don't seem to know where it is). One suggestion to solve this would be for Kona Coast to send guests a pin from Google and Apple maps. Pins are a great way to mark a location that is otherwise unrecognized by these GPS systems. And with a pin, the long/detailed directions are not needed. I was also informed at the end of the stay that we could book directly next time through Kona Coast and save 15% (because they don't need to pay VRBO fees). If you are thinking of staying in this complex, I would recommend checking with Kona Coast first...this move could save you a lot of $$$.

This is a long overdue but so very well deserved review for KCB staff! Hubby & I stayed at a condo @ Casa de Emdeko (managed by KCV) for a little over a month this past Fall 2024. We are truly impressed on how well KCV operates to service their guests as compared to any other property management company! Given the length of our 1 month stay, we had interacted with the KCV staff on several occasion (they also provided extensions for our stay as well as a few customer service inquiries). First off, the condo was in pristine condition upon arrival! I am bit nitpicky about cleanliness. Even the lanai furniture was dust-free and fresh (critical since we sat on the ocean view lanai nightly to watch the gorgeous sunset). We NEVER had issues reaching them with our needs and they were ALWAYS quick to respond. Casa de Emdeko does have almost weekly water shut-offs due to the age of the property - KCV turned what would have been an inconvenience into a much doable vacation challenge by providing ample notice. We can't sing enough praises for the entire Guest Services/Reservations Team A+!! Guest services team (Alanna, Gabby and Asi) were accountable, professional and always eager to assist. We even had an Amazon delivery during our stay and they advised for Amazon to deliver to their Kona office to ensure that our package was secure. As real estate investors on the mainland, we explored Kona investment properties and spoke with Natalie, KCV's new accounts manager about their services for investor owners. Once we secure a Kona investment property, we would definitely approach KCV to manage our investment. The ladies at KCV have earned all our business for our next Kona vacation rental A+++++!!

For the past few rentals it's always been exceptional! KCV is always there to help or will rerun your call ASAP!.. The properties are always in good shape BUT must catch if there isn't A/C.. KCV gets an A+ from our Ohana!

Kona Coast Vacations are great hosts! We stayed on the Big Island at our favorite property managed by KKV. Their communication, during booking, pre-arrival, out stay and afterwards was clear, complete and supportive. They are highly responsive to questions worked closely with us to resolve minor issues that arose during our stay. I highly recommend KKV--we have already booked our next visit to the Big Island with them!

Great condo for a small family. Nicely decorated with great amenities including pool, hot tub, sauna, pool table, grills, and tennis/pickleball court. Private balcony for outdoor dining, reading, socializing. Close to snorkeling beaches. Kona Coast Vacations made our trip easy and enjoyable.

The unit was spectacular! Instructions and communication impeccable. Location and Facilities wonderful.

What a view! House was amazing and wonderful furnishings. The Hawaiian rugs were a treat! The only suggestion would be an outdoor dining table as the sunsets are too amazing to miss.

We just completed our second stay in Vista Waikoloa D201 managed by Kona Coast Vacations (KCV). The unit is ideal for our needs: conveniently located, excellent amenities, beautifully updated decor, well maintained, and competitively priced. Moreover, it was a real pleasure working with Kona Coast Vacations again this year. The staff is always friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and so easy to reach! Their booking system is well designed and the process is easy to use with great follow up communication. We have had success with several management companies throughout the State of Hawaii, yet KCV really stands out as the best among them. I'll use VRBO or AirBnB for other destinations, but not for Big Island; KCV is a far better option for whatever type of Big Island property type or vacation rental location you are seeking.

This house is absolutely amazing! It sits on the 3rd hole of a beautiful golf course. It was quiet, in a great location and clean. My family had a wonderful time Thanksgiving week and would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking to enjoy Kona and its beautiful sunsets! Thank you for everything!

The perfect condo! It had everything you would ever need - and more! Starting with the inside - they had all the amenities we were looking for. A/C, great king bed, and really comfortable furniture to relax on. Even a really nice Murphy bed! Everything was in great condition and looked new. The kitchen was well stocked. Lots of beach equipment! 4 Tommy Bahama chairs, umbrella, 4 snorkels and many other things. The lanai view... wow! Beautiful views overlooking the water, saltwater pool and beach area. The sunsets are glorious with tiki torches and palm trees in the foreground - can't be beat! The only thing to be aware of is the long walk down the building hallway to the condo. To have those amazing views, you have to be willing to walk a ways and do a few stairs - worth it!! Not for someone with mobility issues. We'll be back! Mahalo!

Kona Isle B38 - This place is awesome! Gorgeous view of both the ocean and the mountains right out the slider and from the lanai, absolutely beautiful and well maintained grounds, and well stocked, comfortable condo. The bed is very comfortable, as is the living room furniture. The kitchen has everything you need. The place is very clean and it's really obvious that the owners put a lot of their hearts into it, because it's both really well stocked and so well maintained. There's some snorkel gear there too which is really nice, we definitely used it! Also the grill area is wonderful - grills for anyone to use and loungers and chairs - really nice to have that hang out space. The pool as well, there are pool noodles to use which were a big hit with my kids. My family of four stayed here for a week and it was everything we needed (and more!). The location is awesome too, super close to the downtown area with tons of restaurants and shops. We'll be back for sure!

Had a wonderful stay with Kona Coast Vacations at the Villa Kai. Home was very clean and roomy with a private pool and amazing view. Home had a ton of outdoor seating and large indoor open-air living space. It had one master in main portion of house and then a second building that housed a second master bedroom, a second guest bath and two guest bedrooms. This layout was great for my family since we were traveling with small children and grandparents. The one potential negative is that the floors are stone. While great for the indoor/outdoor living and wet kids dripping water, I do not recommend for babies who are of the crawling age. This home was just a short walk to a small beach. The beach was great for children as the rocks created a large pool/lagoon to swim or snorkel in without worrying about waves. Kona coast vacations was very helpful and responsive during our stay. Upon arrival we found a nice gift from the company, a small cooler bag with local treats. During our stay, We had one small issue with a sliding door coming off the track and they sent someone almost immediately to repair it.

Very well appointed unit. accurate description, some surprise amenities and well worth staying there. Would definitely use them again!

We had an amazing stay at this property. Loved listening to the waves on the lanai in the morning and evening. The kitchen, living space and rooms were really spacious. Super close proximity to downtown Kona. Would absolutely stay here again.

The condo was lovely, we had an ocean view from our lanai. A/C worked well, and the apartment was well stocked. The pool was good for lap swimming, and we were able to watch the sunsets from the small beach. The grounds of this development were beautiful. I would stay here again. Nice property, and good value.

Kulalani #2201 was the perfect home away from home. Comfortable beds, couches, and outdoor furniture. The unit has a great kitchen to cook meals in, and a wonderful outdoor grill. Private lanai and bathroom for each of the two king size bedrooms. The Kulalani neighborhood is peaceful and the amenities are top notch. Short walking distance to The Shops at Mauna Lani, and an easy drive to Waikoloa and Waimea. Booking through Kona Coast Vacation Rentals made the entire trip easy. They communicate well and offer a free concierge service for booking activities. Highly recommend Kona Coast Vacation Rentals, and Kulalani #2201.

This was a beautiful place and the location was perfect for easy access to the pool; walking distance. Right in the heart of Waikoloa Beach Resort area. Seconds of a drive to ABay.

We stayed at Kolea 15L, the resort was very elegant and well maintained. The ocean can be seen from the main gate. The condo was clean, and spacious. KCV's high standard for maintenance and up-keeping qualities are evident the moment you step in. Everything you need is provided to make your stay comfortable. Kolea is a short walk to King's and Queen's outdoor shopping and restaurants.

Incredible service and communication. I saved money booking through them versus the larger booking engines with all the fees. The house was incredible and the views were even better than the photos. We found the house well appointed and well suited with enough space for our blended family to stretch out and have their own space. Loved the pool and hot tub, my kids were in it all week. I would stay here again for sure.

Our unit was clean, comfortable, updated. It was incredibly well stocked with everything needed for a beach vacation. The kitchen too (best supplied kitchen of anywhere I've ever stayed). Communication before and during our trip was prompt, friendly, and accurate . Check-in was easy. Although not on the ocean, the resort is centrally located making day trips north or south convenient. Our favorite beach was about a 10 minute drive away.

Amazing property, love how clean and organized it was. For almost a month my wife and I loved listening to the waves on the lanai in the morning and evening. The host were very accomadating and attentive. We always stay for an extended period and the only drawback ( 1star ) to the complex are there is no BBQ area. (Must be an association policy.) Reading the other reviews you can tell it is a wonderful place. Were in the process of returning to the island next year for our month and Hale Pohaku 1 will definitely be on the list of possibilities.

We stayed for a week and had a very good experience. The unit was well-prepared, clean and with plenty of amenities. Fast WIFI, strong water pressure, fully functional kitchen with newer appliances, and a fantastic view. The area was very peaceful as well, and conveniently just a few minutes away from a shopping center. Please know that if you have more than 1 vehicle it may be a little difficult to get a good parking spot as spaces are mostly reserved. Kona Coast Vacations provided clear instructions and communication. Would stay here again when visiting the Big Island, and I highly recommend this unit 303. Mahalo!

Kawena 5 was amazing. It is by far the best stocked rental we have ever had anywhere. Had everything you need. The bedrooms are all air-conditioned. The house sets up well for a multi generational family with lots of sleeping options. Rest of house is breezy enough. Wonderful pool. Pretty neighborhood. 10 minute drive to downtown Kona. Just a warning...there are feral cats all over the place. Do not feed them. Big mistake. This problem is not exclusive to the house. They are all over the island.

We stay in Kulalani in Mauna Lani. In the past we've stayed at the Fairmont Orchard which is very nice but we wanted to see how staying in a condo would be. We chose Kulalani as it's very close to Fairmont and the grocery store plus it has fantastic amenities (workout facility and pool). The condo we rented was 2301 and it was perfect. Very clean and exactly as posted in the pictures. We had our coffee and breakfast on the lani every morning :) The condo is perfectly appointed. I don't think I've ever stay at a condo that was so well stocked in the kitchen. We were only there for 5 nights but I could have operate out of that kitchen for a month and be very happy. All and all it was a great experience and we will be back Kona Coast Vacations were very easy to work with and answered all of my question immediately....5 stars!!!

I usually book through other sites but decided to book direct with Kona Coast for our 2 week vacation. BEST DECISION. They were available, accommodating, and made sure we were well cared for during our stay. I've stayed in many homes and truly enjoyed the seamless process through Kona Coast! thanks!

We had the best experience while staying at Sea Village 3306. The unit was very clean, cozy, and the views were to die for. Sea Village itself was also very clean, quiet, and friendly. The amenities; BBQ area, pool, spa, courtyard, were immaculately maintained. Our expectations were blown away. We would definitely stay here again.

We booked this stay for a girls trip in January. The house was so much more than what we expected. Great location. The house was immaculate, had absolutely everything and more than what we needed.. There was plenty of space for all of us to work, the rooms were all very private, the Wi-Fi was excellent. The beds were comfortable and nicely furnished. We felt very safe. It was convenient walking distance to restaurants and grocery stores. I highly recommend staying here for groups of 8 to 12 people.

Perfect in paradise. View can't be beat. Kona Coast Vacations communicated often and effectively. We wanted for nothing. Condo was clean, well furnished, great kitchen, beautiful lanai. In Kona, 5 minute drive to Coconut Grove center, Wal Mart, lots of restaurants. Won't forget this vacay!

Great property management company; great communication. Their directions and information was very clear. We didn't have any issues so we didn't have to contact them much. It was nice that the condo we rented had a combination lock instead of a key.

Villa 302 was like a home away from home except in paradise! Coffee in the morning and sunsets from the lanai every evening were the highlights of the beginning and ending of every day. Kona Coast Vacations staff were very nice and informative, will definitely use them again!!

I want to start by saying that we really enjoyed our recent stay and I'm conflicted about leaving a less-than-stellar review. I choose Kona Coast Vacations, the Mauna Lani Terrace complex and this unit very carefully after reading reviews and doing research. The condo was comfortable, well stocked and almost everything we were expecting and we would absolutely rent it again. All our interactions, booking, check-in and check-out were smooth and professional and we felt very well taken care of. When we emailed the morning after arriving about seeing more than the usual amount of cockroaches in the condo, Gabby responded quickly and within a few hours the unit had been sprayed. There was one issue that really affected our stay and the lack of response from Kona Coast about it left a really bad taste. The glass in one of the four large windows in the living room was shattered floor to ceiling and fixed with duct tape. Not only was it an extremely ugly eyesore, it looked somewhat dangerous. The damage reduced the quality of the condo and took away from our enjoyment of the view, one of the primary features we choose this condo and paid a premium price. I understand that accidents happen and often take longer than normal to repair, however I was very surprised to find an issue like this would not be mentioned in advance or addressed. If this had been a hotel room, we absolutely would've asked to be moved to another room. I submitted feedback when we got home and asked for a small discount as compensation for the diminishment of the quality of the unit during our stay and.....radio silence.

We stayed at Sea Village 3210. It was very cute, clean and had an amazing view. My husband and I had coffee and dinner on the lanai often. Plus the place was only 20 minutes walking distance to downtown Kona. The only downside is that they didn't have air conditioner, which made it hard to sleep comfortably at night due to the heat and humidity. They do provide fans, but it wasn't enough to keep the place cool.

Beautiful home with a nice view of the Lava Fields. More than adequate space for our family of 6. Close to resort shopping and resort beaches. Roughly 30-40 minutes from the airport and town of Kona for smaller local shopping, food experiences, and local beaches. Our kids really enjoyed the resort pool. The home is stocked with enough items to get you started and this unit had plenty of beach/pool gear in the garage! Peaceful community to relax your entire stay but close enough to explore the island!

We had a great time at the condo at Kona Reef. Kona Coast Vacations was amazing to work with and we had no hiccups in our trip. I'd highly recommend the property we stayed at and working with Kona Coast Vacations. This is our second time using them and we would again.

Great place and location, close to Kona and central to everything! The house was large enough for our family of 8 to stay comfortably and the setting was great with a pool and jacuzzi overlooking a beautiful ocean view. The house was so pretty and private, located at the end of a cul-de-sac with only a few other houses. Huge yard and wonderful master bedroom with large walk in closet. The other rooms were great too! Overall the house was beautiful and we'd definitely stay here again!

Great location. Walkable to the beach by the Fairmont Orchid. Nice accommodations for a family of 4. Condo had everything we needed and there was a market down the street for groceries. There is a tennis and pickle ball at the mauna lani fitness center for a fee near by. The beach club and restaurant on site is such a treat.

Beautiful condo in secluded area. Awesome views of the surf crashing, whales and golfers too. Second timers. Nicely appointed condo, three beautiful well kept pools to choose from as well as tennis/pickleball. Hopefully will go back! Love the condo and Kona Coast is great!

Our villa was fabulous! Ultra-roomy, comfortable, beautiful ocean-front views, everything worked, equipped with everything we needed, great pools, underground parking, ice-cold AC for those warm Kona afternoons, excellent location, and more. Dave the concierge helped us arrange a great luau experience and the best helicopter tour of the island you could ask for. He responded to our request for a reservation change on the weekend and handled it flawlessly. I needed to call Kona Coast Vacations for two issues - one turned out to be not an issue at all (I thought I needed a pool key but I didn't!) and the other was someone rudely parking in our space. That was directed right away to security and the car was gone overnight. I will call Kona Coast Vacations for all of my Hawaii lodging needs and recommend that you do too!!

Great location! Close to beach, shopping, golf, restaurants. Condo was clean, comfortable, well supplied. Great views and sunsets from lanai. Kona Coast Vacations made the rental process easy.

Loved our condo stay at Kona Makai. Kona Coast Vacations was super attentive making sure we enjoyed our stay. Would definitely use them in the future.

It was an overall very pleasant experience at the property. The unit was larger than expected and neat. It was clean when we arrived and had everything that was described. It was really nice to have all the stuff to take to the beach (chairs/umbrella). The pool worked great for my child and we enjoyed the hot tub. Proximity to the Queens and Kings marketplace was great! Loved that there was quiet time in the night. Overall great place for families, esp. younger children. I would go there again without a doubt. I give 4 stars as the washing machine did not work and they could not get hold of someone to evaluate/fix while we were there. They did reimburse $50 for that..but really missed the convenience esp. with wet ocean clothes involved. Also, for anyone going to the unit the King mattress in the master BR is on the softer side. Not a dealbreaker for us at all as the other mattresses are fine, but good to know.

To start, Kona Coast Vacations was very resourceful, responsive, and attentive. Unit 105 had the perfect location-close to a pool (although the other pool has the hot tub), easy walk to the Hilton Waikoloa, and close access to the main road & sidewalk. The unit was clean, had some games, had boogie boards/snorkels/fins/mats, great layout & space, lots of towels & beds were comfortable. It was perfect for our party of 6. The garage fits smaller cars (our minivan was slightly too long), but there's an outdoor stall just outside. We would recommend this others.

Very good communication leading up to our vacation, at the start, during, and at the end of our stay at the property. Check In and Check out we're seemless and we were provided with contact info should any issues arrise (they did not). The concierge service was very proactive in contacting us to ensure we knew that they were there to help us plan activities or for general information (as an included service). Will definitely be my first contact when we return to the big island!!
