Came across Kong's Hot Tacos at taco fest this year and they did not disappoint!! We got the Bulgogi Ribeye Taco and the General Tso Fried Chicken Taco, both were so flavourful and filling for the size Would definitely need to try them again!

Tacos, but make them wild, bold, and unforgettable. Kong’s Hot Tacos at STACKT Market is a food truck serving up some of the most creative fusion tacos in the city — and every bite delivers. We kicked things off with the General Tso Chicken Taco: crispy sweet-and-sour chicken, sesame slaw, green chutney, and chili oil all wrapped in a pillowy flour tortilla. Sweet, tangy, and just enough heat to keep it interesting. The Bulgogi King Ribeye Taco was the kind of taco that rewrites your expectations: tender ribeye, fried kimchi, red pepper aioli, fresh greens, and a crunch of crispy onions. Balanced, indulgent, and no surprise it's award-winning! Then came the Charr’d Mala BBQ Pork Taco, where sweet char siu meets the tingly heat of mala sauce. With creamy aioli, slaw, herbs, and shallots, it was bold, layered, and straight-up addictive. The Cheesy Wonder Corn? Think smoky, creamy, crunchy street food magic — charred corn, umami aioli, sweet soy, onions and herbs. It’s the side dish that stole the spotlight (well, almost). We finished with the Miso Churro Sundae — warm cinnamon churros, cold vanilla ice cream, rich miso caramel, and a fun little crunch of masago. Unexpected, but totally worked. Had the bulgogi beefsteak taco from their stall at the Toronto Food and Drink Fest. Staff were friendly and efficient and I was soon served my food. I managed to also get some chips and salsa which was a nice touch. The taco was good, not extremely hot so I could taste the ingredients. The salsa had a little bite which worked with the chips. As this was at the Toronto Food and Drink Fest the prices were comparable to other offerings. UPDATE Visited their usual location at stack'd market and found the pork BBQ taco along with the bulgogi beef tacos the best. Friendly staff again. Thursday they do $3 tacos.

I absolutely LOVE Kong’s! I have never met a food item here that I didn’t love. Recent favs are the cheesy wonder corn, miso churro sundae, the Thai fish tacos, general tao tacos, and bulgogi tacos. I would absolutely recommend visiting and getting lots of shareables!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Kong’s Hot Tacos has won awards for a reason—this spot is absolutely worth your time, effort, and money. Easily one of the best taco places in Toronto! Their Asian-inspired flavors give tacos a fresh, modern twist, packed with toppings and beautifully presented. The poutines are outstandingly delicious, and once you visit, you’ll keep coming back for more. Don’t miss their $3 Taco Thursdays from 4 PM to 9 PM! The owner and staff are super friendly, and the location at Stackt Market offers great vibes with stunning CN Tower views. Highly recommended! My Faves: • Bulgogi King Ribeye – 11/10 • Zesty Thai Fish Taco – 11/10 • Japanese Curry Poutine – 11/10 • 1933 Loaded Poutine – 12/10 Follow me on Instagram/TikTok for more: @foodandbeverageto
