Königslinde am Tegernsee

Very friendly service and we chose some solid German food - we never tried this before. We liked the food, it was well made and dining outside at the lake front made everything a very memorable dinner. We went on a walk along the lake afterwards - all in all- a good evening.

Nice staff that also speaks English; food quality was pretty good; drinks were so so.

Great lunch in beer garden near lake, then one of the best cakes for a very long time in the café. Brilliant place!

My experience at Königslinde A small, hidden, quite large restaurant/ bakery on the lake. Quite lights by the café. The restaurant didn’t really specialize on the atmosphere, the detail and the whole overall design choices and color palette. More of a rather poorly designed mix and match. As it was rush hour, nobody really bothered to show us anything. Their top priority is the bakery, which I find rather disappointing. But I got to say: Cleanliness is definitely a trend here. Perhaps in the summertime the atmosphere here might be better, as there is a well decorated big beergarden only waiting for the sun to shine. The staff is rather reluctant, some friendly. Not very attentive or helpful. In terms of money Königslinde offers reasonable prices based on the quality and the portion sizes of the food. Overall my experience here was very pleasant. I’m quite satisfied. Highly recommended. You take a look on the thick menu with lots of options. Of course specialized on german dishes. Their food was amazing. With every bite being a new adventure. Vegetarians are not very pleased by the rather meaty menu.

Automated check-in and -out, worked like a charm. The deluxe rooms are *much* nicer than the standard ones! Just stayed the night, so I don't know about the food and golf.
